My new favorite record store. Such a great selection of vinyl, tapes, and CD's. I couldn't look through every section I wanted to bc I'd just keep finding more things I had to have. The store is located in an unassuming strip mall which makes it even better for me. You know they're not jacking up prices bc the rent is insane in a high profile downtown location. White Rabbit Record Store is a great local find. Walked in planning to casually browse and walked out with a few records I'd been actively searching for . I visited three other record stores the same day, and this one easily had the widest variety and biggest selection. Prices were pretty much on par with other shops, but the range here really sets it apart. Also, not sure if he's the owner, but the guy at the register was super helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to help without any pressure. read more

White Rabbit Records is a gem of a record shop in the Fullerton area. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they are a smaller shop but utilize their space really well to showcase all the records they have for sale. I was pleasantly surprised to see the sheer amount of records they have. The records are organized nicely and are fairly priced. I ended up grabbing a Keshi, Naomi Sharon, Marias, Giveon, and Pokemon Lofi vinyl and called it a day. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. If you are ever looking to crate dig in OC, I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot. read more

What an awesome and fun store. I attend many vinyl brunches and was running out of selections to bring. I stopped into this shop and was blown away by the selection. I picked up a Sade vinyl and also Tierra. The Tierra vinyl was perfect for the brunch I attended. It was only $12! Total steal! The staff was so friendly here. I ended up chatting with the couple about music and The Dodgers. I'd love to bring my husband and grandpa back next time so they can pick out some of their faves. read more

Been here like 5 times and every time I've been here, staff have been really friendly and ready to help. However, today changed that. I had come in to find a CD that had been posted on their IG. Came the following day and the staff was annoyed off the bat, unwilling to help, and when asked if they can check if they sold it so we can go on about our day, they denied that they kept a list of sold items. Mind you, I know they keep a list (especially since he took that list out right in front of me) and it wasn't like I'm asking them to backtrack days. I would understand if they couldn't help if they were busy, it was only me, my sister and another guy but he was just chatting to the customer about how people are "willing to do anything for free." Didn't even acknowledge while I was waiting for him to ring me up for a different CD. Left really upset. read more

My first ever RSD was at White Rabbit Records and my gosh they could not have been nicer! The owners and staff were SO helpful from when we arrived to 'camp' all the way through the next morning when the day started and they were hustling to make sure we found the titles we wanted. The RSD records were all so organized and they even kept the line chaos organized by a one group in/our system which was insanely helpful so you didn't feel panicked or rushed. They had so much stock and they had tons of goodies for us, too! The owners had to put up with nonsense from their neighboring business owners and I saw nothing but class and kindness and I'm excited to keep supporting this store! read more

I went to White Rabbit Records this morning for RSD, arrived at 4:50 am and it seemed like I was already too late As there was pretty large crowd at hand already, waiting for the store to open at 5am! The people in line all had the same goal, pick up their exclusive record of choice. I was impressed by how smooth the process was, I mean we are talking about a record store. People want time to peruse through the shop and hang out if they choose to do so! I don't think taking orders while in line is necessary like I was placing an order for lunch, I mean lunch is lunch. Music, people, connections can't be rushed or pre ordered. Well organized store, gave everyone a chance to have plenty of space to comfortably look through and find your record of choice. After a two and a half hour wait, it was finally my turn and to my surprise the records of choice were still available!! Thanks to the dude working the shop for helping me find a few of my picks right away and was able to still score a Hello Kitty for my daughter. Great shop, I've been here several times before, but first time to an RSD morning. Step in, check it out leave with some tunes in hand. read more

I used to like this store but their handling of record store day was completely inefficient. I waited 2 hours and left. They only allowed 4 people in the store at a time. The line wrapped twice around the sidewalk. I'll never shop here again. They caused the extreme wait time. Learn from In and Out, and Dutch Bros and other competent companies for how to deliver high demand products in an efficient manner so you don't lose customers. read more

Came here vinyl hunting with my daughter, it didn't disappoint. :) The service was good, chill staff and a chill atmosphere. I would say they're primarily a Rock, Pop, Metal shop (fine by me), but they still had a selection of many other genres as well. The value was fine, they have the range - The $5 racks through the nicer stuff, something for everyone. Went here today to see if they had any thing of interest to me. They had a decent selection of genres. I wanted rap or R&B CDs, to which they had very little selection. Also, it was in a corner all the way to the back side on the right, and it was not alphabetical. That made it a bit harder to find something that I wanted, to which I didn't. The prices were I guess average to high. I saw a Tyga album for $35-39, and was like okay? Would I return? Maybe, if they had what I wanted. read more

Came to this store way back in the Burger Records days to pick up a Sea Lions LP (a wonderful little band I saw open for Iceage, and which notably launched to the career of the late Cola Boyy) and loved it then, haven't been in many years. Decided to drop in today and pick up some CDs. Still the same charming local record store it always was, cool jams over the speakers, and hey - I could pick up all the discs I did on Discogs for about the same price and pay an arm and a leg for shipping, OR I could drive down the road and pick 'em up in a store that represents the last vestige of a dying industry. The choice is clear to me. Aside from that - Tracy, the gentleman at the counter, was a super cool guy and very pleasant to chat with as he helped me ring up my purchase. white rabbit records has been one of my favorite record stores for a while. however, one of the employees is EXTREMELY rude. i do not know any names but if you are looking for anything, do not ask the older man. he is VERY mean. i am looking for a vinyl from an australian band. i usually find imported vinyls at white rabbit so i decided to call. the old mean guy didn't press mute and literally said "let me just fucking look through the vinyls for you". i could hear he was listening to some podcast or video really loud about news or something and then came back like a minute later and said "nope nothing like that". i still tried to be nice after hearing him be mean and said "ok thank you so much for checking" and he just hung up on me. i genuinely believe he did not even look. on the bright side, there is a worker with longer hair who is AMAZING!! he will take requests, he will check his system for you. he will talk to you about random bands and music. he is the reason my friends and family still go there. i really hope the older man is not the owner because if he is, i think it's time to pass it on or retire. he's going to continue to drive customers away with his mean attitude. that is not the first time he was rude to me or even my friends. i feel like you shouldn't work a customer service job and then get mad when we ask a question. read more

Found this place on google and decided to check it out, I had been wanting to buy some vinyls for myself. Place is great and the selection is good, but the man working the counter couldn't be bothered to interact with you In the slightest. After browsing I went to check out and keep in mind I was buying 6 vinyls from them. I saw a lot of paper notebooks and an old cash register so i politely asked if they accepted card. Maybe it was a ridiculous question in this day and age but he snarkingly glared at me and responds "of course". I didn't think much of it and handed him my card. While charging me I asked if they had a bag. He stares at me like I did something heinous to him. He looks at my card in the terminal and says, "Well I was gonna do this first but sure let me get you your bag." I think he felt like I was rushing him but that wasn't the intention. It's an old school record store with lots of vinyl (old and new), posters, and also some CDs. By their sheer existence in the marketplace, they are automatically a good record store. The people are nice but they don't bother you and let you browse, and they stock the store well. It's got that record store smell from the moment you walk in the door. It's exactly what it should be, and I hope they are doing well and stay open for a very long time. I've never been here during a normal day so maybe it's fine but it wasn't fine on Record Store Day today. I showed up around 4:40 am for their 5 am opening and arrived to see hundreds of people already in line. They had opened early at 4 am which I appreciated but the popularity of this store plus the snail's pace of the line made for a somewhat miserable experience. Imagine hundreds of people standing outside a store in a strip mall at 4 am and imagine 3 hours of it. That's what it took to get me inside the store. The choke point is the one register they have to ring everyone up. Would it have killed them to have another one set up to speed up the huge line - something I'm sure they were aware of since RSD happens twice a year? I don't relish writing this review because the two employees I dealt with were nice and whoever runs their IG runs it better than other local record stores but I know I would want someone to tell me of their time issues so I can avoid wasting time. read more

I went in for the sole purpose of getting many of my favorite artists (found a lot!) this store has too much good stuff! Even stuff thats sorta hard to come by at most local shops... they also seem to stock up every week and with a bunch of good stuff too! This is the same place as former Burger Records, but just reduced down to half the size. I think it's still under same ownership but just with a different name. The other half of the store that was mainly used to stock videos is gone. Makes sense since that portion of the store really wasn't being used in the past. Sad to see the cats that used to reside here are gone, and there aren't any rabbits here either, despite the name. Selection is pretty much the same as before. It carries a wide range of genre but selection isn't great in any one category. It does seem to be expanding a bit more with indie/goth/industrial section, so I'm pleased with that. Price is ok for used items, although it's not the best. Service is still good. read more

I was impressed at all the great Blue Note Jazz titles and some hard to find Audiophile vinyl too. "Love is the drug and I need to score" -Roxy Music White Rabbit contains many fine vinyl records worth the tumble into Wonderland. I have seen scads of good essential rock, funk, house, edm, soul, and reggae records at White Rabbit. A whole smorgasbord of music is on sale on vinyl in this fancy music spot. The cheapo or discount bins here impressed me exceedingly. I snagged up many essential dance records on the cheap, and I pulled out one or two western themed compilations by Marty Robbins that are going up in value on Discogs right now. In other words, I espied plenty of mighty fine come ups here. The overall layout of the record store contains lots of cool visuals, details, and quirky art or conversation pieces. The owner appears to have made a point to continue to allow customers to use the listening station, which is kept clean and sterile. Most stores never had and do not have a listening station; I think that is a mistake. People want to be in record stores, test their tunes, verify they've found the right song(s), and then make an informed purchase. I doff my hat to the owner, employees, and collection of records at White Rabbit Records. Ordering a record online is nowhere near as reliable and fun as holding a record in your hand, evaluating it, giving it a spin, and then giving it a good home. The record industry needs to catch up to the innovations being made at White Rabbit Records. 5 stars. read more

Been here on numerous occasions, some of the employees are personable and friendly but the older guy who I won't even call a gentleman is the worst. No people skills whatsoever, he acts like you just ruined his day because you walked in and now he has to do his job. Took in some vinyl to sell and he gives me two of them back saying "we cant take these, we can't even give these away" ok? Maybe just say "these ones we cant take", without insulting people's music taste. Won't come back here just because of him. read more
