You will find a well-stocked store with a logical layout. There are times staff are in the aisles with large pallets stocking shelves, but that's okay with me. There are exceptional deals to be had, especially if you know your prices. The food items I saw were not expired but were close to their end date. Depending on the size of the item, how likely will use it and how discounted the item is dictated my purchase in that section, while other parts of the store like cleaning supplies, health and beauty products and clothes were easier decisions for me. We were immediately stopped by Zana and were told that it was company policy to follow around customers to help them browse. We thought this policy was invasive and didn't allow us to freely shop and consider our options. We also saw other people shopping freely without a chaperone so we felt targeted. She even told us that she thought we were teenagers when we revealed we are in our 30s with a child. She also kept talking about financing options if we didn't have the funds to purchase. We felt very awkward and ended up leaving without purchasing anything even though we need basically everything for our new apartment. Ashley Furniture should really reconsider this store policy (if it's true). I have a feeling she just wanted the commission and lied about the policy because we were the only ones being followed around.

I let her make most of the decisions while I sat on the sofa in the showroom I thought I was ordering. My chaise sofa was delivered about 5 weeks later and it really is beautiful. But the seat cushions feel as hard as an over inflated pool lounge. I was told that's normal, they will soften up, give it a few more weeks. When they didn't soften up, Customer Care was very accommodating and had me bring the seat cushions in to be softened up somehow. When I got them back and sat on them again, they were as hard as when I took them in. I'm so disappointed. This was an expensive splurge for me and now I'm stuck with an almost $6K chaise sofa that I don't use. There is nothing more they can do. Now I'm having trouble selling it for a third of what I paid even though I've had it less than 4 months and no one sits on it :(

Think about it...we purchased 25k of furniture and that's not even a lot of rooms. They still completely blow is off. This isn't what any consumer/customer should go through. Go to Matthis Bros. Or any other company that will be there to take care of you I think I'll have to sue them. I'm confident I will win but it's ashame they don't have management capable.
