Passing through from Kansas City this is our first stop Architect coffee. Our whole family came here to try their coffee. The staff are so awesome and hospitable. The environment is so comfortable. We love this place.

The coffee here is exceptionally well made (we ordered vanilla lattes) and they were perfectly balanced and smooth. You can tell they really care about the details, even down to the to-go cups and sleeves, which are thoughtfully designed. The breakfast selection is impressive as well. We tried the breakfast burrito and the quiche, and both were fantastic! The burrito was flavorful and customizable, while the quiche was light and delicious with a perfectly flaky crust. It's the perfect spot to grab a quality coffee and a satisfying breakfast. Highly recommend!

What an amazing coffee shop. This isn't your streamlined Seattle ruin coffee this is what a real barista, real coffee master is all about. These baristas take pride in what they do and it's an art for them. Now about the coffee, the nitro was perfect and smooth with great flavor. You could pick up the different notes the bean provides. The cortado was just perfect with the right amount of sweetener. I had to order a macchiato and was so happy when it was authentic. Perfectly created and balance of milk to coffee espresso ratio. I wish I had room for food because it all sounded very tasty! Oh and the space I mean if I lived here I'd be a regular hanging out every day the ambiance is amazing.

Great espresso, great ambiance, great food, great service. Best coffee we've had in Springfield. Love finding a quality cafe that cares about bean quality and effective drink crafting. They have a lovely merch set up as well. I'm looking forward to coming back here and making this a regular stop for our remaining time in Springfield. We also (not pictured) grabbed straight espresso and a vanilla bean donut. Everything was wonderful. Thank you!!

There is a reason this place is so highly rated. We got there at around 10 on a Saturday and the place was packed. The wait in line wasn't bad nor was the wait for our food and drinks. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The best part for me was the four berry toast. The bread was perfectly toasted and the jam was flavorful. There were big chunks of berries and plenty of butter. My mocha was not too strong like some other places. There was plenty of good lighting and comfy chairs. It would be a good place to study if you were a student.

Every time I come to Architect Coffee I am almost always shocked at how packed the place is! Seems like they could open another location and still be booming with business. But what do I know? Last visit was great. I decided to try the Architect latte, iced, as recommended by the batista and what a fantastic choice it was. Regular latte with vanilla, Caramel, and salt flakes on top. So flavorful! I love how as a coffee shop, they don't mind if people sit and stay a while. I love the many wall outlets they have for laptops and the seating while somewhat cramped is laid out in a way that doesn't feel too claustrophobic. I loved seeing the holiday decor inside and on the windows this season. Truly a great locally owned coffee shop that knows how to do coffee and Cafe fare super well and has such a welcoming and calming environment. Highly recommend!

I got one of the holiday drinks called the Scrooge's delight. The drink was great. The atmosphere is quiet but busy, so not overwhelming if you have any social anxiety. The people are very patient and friendly.

Stopped in this week as I love to try coffee shops i drive by and have never stopped in. I absolutely loved their selection of coffees, and the pastry menu. I got the special coffee that day, lavender and honey. Omg, it was amazing! My sis picked up several of their shortbread cookies for us. It was perhaps the best cookie I've ever tasted! Anyway, I will def make sure I stop in here on a regular basis, as there's plenty more I want to try. read more

They have created a great place to enjoy some coffee and conversation. Clean, modern, comfortable, and conversation friendly. The coffee is great too! They have spent time honing in their blend of coffee and it shows in their drinks. I recommend the Macchiato. For black coffee lovers, the Americano really shows off the coffee. Drinks are great- I went seasonal and have tried the gingerbread latte and peppermint hot chocolate both times I've frequented. They offer a rewards punch card that I could see myself filling up fairly quickly. It's place to get work or studying done as well; the tables are adequately sized. However, the seats/tables are not spaced out very well. I don't feel like I'm six feet apart from other patrons at all times, which makes it hard for me to want to visit when there are other coffee shops maintaining this space and doing it well. read more

I hadn't been in here for several years and it was better than I remembered. It's got a good coffee shop ambiance, it's spacious and has a good variety of seating options. Staff is friendly and they keep busy, at least on this Friday morning around 7:45. Coffee and pastry were both delicious. read more

Nice spot, Wi-Fi spotty though. Usually you can unplug the router and plug it back in. While not a perfect fix, usually a good interim one. Unfortunately, employee not willing to do this. Leaving early. Would be better if this was resolved. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but I couldn't help it after stopping in for my first time today! Shelby and the other barista were super sweet!! The coffee shop has a very cozy vibe and if lived in the area I would have definitely made this my new study spot. The architect latte I got was great too! read more

I am a college student and I literally am at this shop every day to do school work. Phenomenal atmosphere where you can work if you need to or relax if you want to! It's great. Also, the baristas are amazing and the coffee is terrific!! Everything from their pour over to their lattes and all are amazing!! Highly highly recommend to anyone! read more

I really enjoy coming to Architect Coffee during my visits to Springfield! I love their cinnamon brown sugar house made pop tarts and getting an iced latte with oatmilk. we have reserved the back room a few times for various meetings and it has been perfect! highly recommend! read more

Love this coffee shop. The coffee tastes great. Service is fast. My favorite side is the cinnamon pop tarts - it is a sad morning when they have already sold out! The atmosphere is uncluttered and simple. Great for spending time with friends for an hour over coffee. COVID has affected hours of operation, so at times am disappointed that they are already closed for the night. Best coffee in southeast SGF. read more

Only giving two stars because the girl that took my order was so kind. I ordered a caramel latte with oat milk. It was $6.11 of pure disappointment. It tastes like burnt coffee and doesn't at all resemble the taste of caramel. Will not be going back. read more

I know exactly what I'm going to order from half the coffee shops in Springfield, as they have their niche. This one has what I consider to have the best breve latte on the south side of town by far. The creaminess and smoothness more than makes up for size (which took a little getting used to). Pair that with a sausage Architect burrito for breakfast and you have the perfect before work treat. read more

Stopped by late on a Friday for a cup of tea and to get caught up on some work. Great little work bar at the front of the store and a good mix of seating between tables, casual catch-up areas and work spots. Decor and menu is minimalist, modern and clean.....great for clearing your head or uninterrupted conversations. I'll be back for sure. read more

The aptly named Architect Coffee is well designed from both an atmospheric and beverage/foods options perspective. The seating is plentiful and not as crammed as many artisan coffee shops. The place is clean and the lighting is fantastic. There was a delicious-looking selection of cupcakes, scones, muffins, and cookies. I greatly enjoyed my pour over coffee (the staff was extremely helpful in my selection) and the architect burrito. Wishing I was a local and could enjoy this place more frequently! read more

This is an incredible shop with a great workspace. They are the best craft coffee shop on the south side of Springfield! You can't go wrong with any of their drinks or food, and I highly recommend. I'm in here once a week (at least) and meet with people often in this shop. If you go, try the Cortado - it's out of this world. read more

I turned to my left and spotted a small local coffee shop, so I walked in, and I'm so glad I did. It was adorable inside, the coffee was delicious, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. I don't live in Springfield, but I've visited constantly for years. And I've never taken a trip…read morewithout at least one stop at Traveller's House. They're consistent, which is only a virtue when you're good to begin with. And it has ALWAYS been good. First of all, it's a coffee shop. So how's the coffee? It's solid. Not the best, objectively I've had better coffee from some of the downtown competition. But it's made with its own degree of love and passion that results in quality. A cup of joy rather than a regular old cup of joe. The baristas have all been incredibly nice, rivaling that of Chick Fil A service if not topping it. I've also met the owners a few times, who are humble and always try to invest in their employees and customers alike. I've been surprised that the owner has recognized me a few visits in a row with months in between. It's a genuine place that makes me feel more welcome than perhaps any coffee shop I've experienced. There's also good food, pastries, and some creative drinks such as the "arrive late" and "arrive early". They're happy to make accommodations and customizations as well. The vibe is cozy. Still leaning towards cafe, but there's a few cushioned arm chairs and a couch as well, and if it's a cool day you may be blessed by the fireplace. Always a warm welcome. The music has sometimes been Christian or faith-inspired, sometimes just smooth jazz or acoustic. Today in particular, it's Michael Bublé. No complaints there. WiFi is somewhat of a weak point. But it's a fantastic place to meet up with people, enjoy a date, or simply have some you-time. So long as you don't need intense internet connectivity. I'd give the coffee and food a solid 4 stars. But the experience as a whole is easily 5. Heart and soul shan't be overlooked.

I visited Travelers today at 11:45 and wasn't even greeted with a hello, just an unhappy stare. I said hello, nothing. So I placed my order, then had to ask if the drink set on the counter was mine. I am a business owner and would not tolerate this type of customer service. When I told some friends they said they have had the same experience.

5 Stars - A Gem in the 417! Architect is hands down the best coffee spot in the 417. Their coffee is consistently top-tier -- rich, smooth, and crafted with care. The food is just as impressive, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort in every bite. The space has a great vibe, though it can get pretty busy and a bit loud during peak hours -- something to keep in mind if you're planning to hunker down and get work done. How is a coffee shop not open before 7:00am? Very good coffee and breakfast treats, but this place doesn't work for those wanting an early start. -- Unrelated to my review, while standing outside waiting for the shop to open, we observed two incidents of men cutting in line. Maybe it's a Springfield thing, but most people show respect for others and defer to those who have been waiting longer. Being from out of town, we were unimpressed. read more

Architect Coffee offers a delightful experience with its great coffee and friendly staff. The standout drink, "The Architect Dream," is a must-try. While the atmosphere could use some improvement, as it's a bit too quiet, it's still a fantastic spot for a quality cup of coffee. read more
