Absolutely some of the best Thai food I have ever had. I keep thinking of the food we ate and wanting go back to Moab.

Our family of 4 are here and each dish was solid. Pad Thai, Tom Yum Rice, Pad Ew Sew, and I can't remember my dish but it was a vegetarian one with the best tofu I've had. The portion size is generous. I would definitely stop by again next time we are in town. read more

Arches Thai is serving some of the best Thai that I've had. Had the pad thai, drunken noodle, and yellow curry. Would definitely recommend all three dishes, especially with shrimp. The portion sizes are big so definitely don't order more than one entree unless you are planning on sharing. They ask spice level 1-5, and I ordered a 3 on my curry but didn't taste anything. Maybe they forgot to add it on that, but that's my only complaint! Quick and friendly service, go around 6pm for fast turnarounds! read more

WOW this is a popular spot. And while it was good, I don't *quite* understand the out-of-this-world reviews. I picked up takeout from here on a Saturday night, and the place was completely packed. There was a line out the door as well as groups gathered out front, and I was glad we'd opted for takeout instead. My friend and I got the pad thai and fried rice, and both were huge portions. Just one would have easily been enough for two! My only disappointment? Both were super, super mild without the spice I've grown to love in thai food -- best to request it if you like spice! But both dishes were well executed and flavorful, and best of all, warm on a cold night. Maybe dining in is the missing ingredient? Or maybe other entrees are more where it's at? But regardless, Arches Thai is a solid choice for thai food in Moab. read more

The food was tasty, the place was eerily empty when we arrived but soon got busy thereafter. The vegan pho with coconut cream was really tasty. Noodles so silky, lovely tang to the broth and plentiful chunks of tofu. That said, it was a huge dish, it's not nice to leave food behind but so hard not to do so with such a sizable portion. About half that would have been ample. The veggie rolls for starter were amazing too, so fresh, fresh as is claimed on the menu, the accompanying sauces were delicious. Liked the way they were cut into halves and made into accessible finger food. The pork shrimp shumai (like dim sum) and green curry with chicken were both enjoyable too: though I had ordered wings and green curry with shrimp. So while a markdown is important to note, the shumai was delicious, fresh, tasty, not over seasoned, boiled and then flash fried in places. Like the veggie rolls I could have eaten dozens of them... Not much more comforting for me than a Thai green curry. The protein here didn't do it for me, perhaps just defrosted(?) I did miss the freshness that shrimp brings to it. Very tasty green curry but definitely not as spicy as true Thai food. They do not offer the basic Thai condiments that most Thai restaurants offer in the East Coast, we wanted chili oil to add to the soups because they needed some heat. I assume this is because of COVID but it does not make sense because they offered Siracha sauce which is not a Thai essential condiment or fish sauce. My friend is half Thai and her mother prepares all her dishes with fish sauce sour and sweet elements that she said were missing but still tasty enough. The Thai beef salad was delicious on its own, we got the green coconut curry and the drunken noodles which were tasty. We ordered the samosa curry puffs to go which were shaped like mini empanadas, not the best I've had don't recommend those. read more

3.5 stars. I had the Tom kha Gai (coconut chicken) soup and the flavor was pretty good. The green curry fell a bit short on flavor - think that it would be better to have a bit more acidity in the balance of flavor. I really liked the ground chicken salad that my fiancé ordered. Spicy, brightly flavored. All of the dishes have big portions - great for sharing. Great service and great for a quick meal if you are tired from hiking and just want to get home quickly after dinner. Pretty basic decor. read more

This place is awesome!!! Arrived here at 7:30PM and there are 4-5 groups ahead of us. Was notified the waiting time would be 15 minutes. I was a little skeptical at the beginning but wow EVERYONE serving in the restaurant is running and got our table soon. Food was simply AMAZING! Big portions and great taste. Highly recommend Thai Toast, very unique and delicious. Due to the business everyone was running so sometimes it's hard to get fully serviced, but everyone does work very hard here and when they greet us, it was very polite and nice. We were in Moab with a tour group and this was right across the street from the hotel. Didn't know what to expect but the last thing I did expect was a wait queue at 6pm! And, you wait outside. We decided to stick around and were glad that we did. The wait gaggle was congenial and we learned a bit about Moab, Utah and and drought concerns on the Colorado.... And we got great input on the restaurant. We ordered spring rolls and, of course, Pad Thai.... Really good and worth the wait. Can't go wrong with a good Singha to wash it down.. Only downside was the heat level, 1-5 was achieved by dumping more dried red pepper on top of the dish. Arches is definitely not perfect but it serves tasty Thai food that pretty much makes up for their flaws. After a long day of hiking, my friend and I were hungry and were anxious for Asian food. Given its good reviews on Yelp, Arches Thai was an easy choice. Although not directly on the main street in downtown Moab, it is only about a block away so definitely a reasonable choice if you are looking for something local. Here are some of the food items we had: Paradise Thai Curry ($20)- A little pricey but was a solid curry dish. While most of the ingredients are pretty standard to most, what they added was lychee! This sweet addition to creamy spiciness of the red curry was a surprisingly unique addition. My only drawbacks for the dish is the price. Yes you do get good amount of chicken and shrimp, but it is a little steep considering the size is not that much. Pineapple Fried Rice (w meat- $13.95 ) - Again a little pricey, but the product is probably one of the best I have I had. With nice sized chunks of sweet pineapple and nutty creaminess of cashews to help balance the saltiness of the fried rice, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. As I mentioned, the price seemed a little steep compared to what I am used to, but there is not much else to compete. Another downside when I went was the poor disorganization that I hope was just due to an off night. There was no greeter and the line of people waiting were visibly upset. The place is pretty small so there was limited seating available. However, once we were seated, service was very good and attentive. In terms of parking, there is some available on the street. Overall, Arches Thai provides quality Asian food but at a price. read more

Omg. We flew all the way here from Atlanta, GA to eat at this restaurant. However, the foods here are PHENOMENAL I meant absolutely DELICIOUS. We got tom yum both times with chicken. my only complaint is that the soup was luke warm, not hot :/ Panang curry 5/5 comes with a bowl of rice. I would title this, The Good, The Bad, and The Yummy. The good was it was open until 10, and we had just driven 4 hours from Salt Lake City to Moab and we were exhausted, and starving! The bad was my Garden Rolls and Edemame. The garden rolls were bland, and the Edemame was tough, with shriveled up beans. The options in Moab were limited this time of the year. But we were very glad to find Arches Thai. Drinks : They have a limited collection of beer & wine. I was happy they served Singha beer. Appetizers: Tried the pork dumplings and they were delicious. Try it with the spicy chilli sauce. All the food we ordered were great. Service : Very friendly and attentive. The waitress kept checking on us and gave us good suggestions. Ambience : Casual atmosphere to relax. Street parking is available. Pricing : This is not a low budget restaurant by any means. Average price for an entree is around $18. But the portion size and flavor is well worth the pricing. Overall : Thumbs up to the restaurant! Did my research before coming here. Came before the evening rush and we were seated right away and the service was great. The tom yum wasn't my favorite and it could have had more flavor. Add insult to injury, both had the same types of vegetables that were even cut the exact same way. Tucked away in a quiet street, away from all the hustle in Moab, Arches Thai is hard to spot if you're walking along the main road. But that happens to be the best part of this restaurant. Since it's further away from the Main Street, arches thai has the luxury of a very expansive space for indoor dining and a gorgeous patio. We got into arches thai at about 11:45 am and got seated promptly. The vast space for indoor dining has allowed them to socially distanced all their tables. We were seated in a nook and the ambience was great !! We got the Thai red curry and the drunken noodle. The portion sizes were big and the food tasted absolutely delicious. The drunken noodle was slightly less spicy for my taste but nothing that cannot be fixed by asking for a side of their chili oil. The red curry was spot-on. They have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options and are also accommodative of other dietary restrictions. The best part of our experience was that our food was prepared fresh and came out piping-hot. There were no delays in getting the food out and the staff at the restaurant were super-polite and friendly. Will definitely be coming back to arches thai the next time I'm in Moab and will also be recommending this place to anyone visiting Moab. read more

We enjoyed the food, but sadly the service was all but non-existent. If you like to wait a very long time for some decent Thai/Vietnamese food, then this is your kinda place! We walked in at about 630pm, about 10 other people standing around. No one acknowledge us. I noticed an elderly couple who had a buzzer, so I went to ask for one. Other people waiting noticed and were upset no one had even offered them a buzzer. They walked out. We waited less than 10 minutes to be seated (even though there were free tables when we walked in, but no one had time to clear them). For the next 10 minutes, we were completely ignored. No one taking drink or food orders. They were all too busy clearing and cleaning tables. Then I noticed a table that was seated after us, getting their order taken AND the elderly couple also still waiting on service, so I complained. I felt so bad for them since they had waited forever. Luckily the waitress acknowledged the mistake and made sure the couple's food would come out first. During our meal, no one came to check in on us. No one asked if we wanted our drinks replenished. Eventually asked for a box and the check ourselves. Although we felt that the food was definitely up to standard and meeting our expectations, the service definitely did not. Please hire more staff, even just someone who clears and cleans tables. They definitely have the seating capacity to process the demand, but not the man power, sadly. read more

The food here made me feel like I was still at home in the bay area. The som tum had just the right amount of fish sauce, the panang curry was really tasty. Everything we had was good. I ordered online for takeout and this allows customizing the spice level in each dish. I think I would interpret 1 star as "normal spice" anything more starts to add some heat. After traveling through Utah all week and eating primarily Mexican food in the small towns along the way, a Thai restaurant was a much-needed change, and I'm so glad Arches was there for that change! The smell is incredible as soon as you walk in the door, and not a single customer's plate looked unappetizing. The service was quick and polite, and we were seated, ordered, and our food was there quicker than expected. I ordered Garlic & Pepper stir fry with chicken, while my family ordered curries, fried rice, and other stir frys. Like any Thai food, nearly every item was available gluten free and vegetarian. The portions were huge and the food was all excellent. Although I didn't pay (perks of traveling with family, amiright?), the prices seemed very fair for the amount of food we received. The only reasons for 4 stars and not 5 are that my meal was not spicy even though I ordered it medium-hot. However, everyone else at the table ordered medium and theirs was very spicy. Must have just been my dish, and I was able to add more chili sauce, so that was okay. Second, some of the entrees came out before the others, leaving people at the table sitting and watching the rest of us eat. Good to know that our food was not sitting under heat lamps, but a little odd. Still, neither of those things are reasons not to come here!
