We walked into Pho 88 later than usual for dinner. The staff were welcoming and the food was great. As first time customers, our server, Tony, made a big effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was well prepared, although they got my order wrong--I ordered beef and noodles and got pork instead. It was presented so well that I just went with it. Tasty & fresh food. The flat rice noodles were so tasty with beef & fresh vegetables. The service was excellent.

We came in on a Sunday night and could immediately tell that they were busy when we were seated. We just missed the dinner rush and multiple tables weren't cleaned yet. They had an extensive menu but decided on a pho and pork chop rice dish. The food took a while to be served, as they had multiple DoorDash orders as well. The steak, brisket and meatball pho had lots of flavor. They cut the meatball(s) in small pieces though, not sure if it was just 1 meatball or 2 in an order. The grilled pork chop was solid. However, the side salad didn't have any dressing and the pickled daikon and carrots were dry and didn't taste pickled. read more

Service was EXCELLENT! Roadtrip day 2 dinner got us craving pho so this was a great fit. I was a little hesitant after reading reviews, but this is a solid pho place. We ordered beef spring rolls, which i thought the beef was a little hard to bite through without tearing apart the roll. The pho hit the spot. Decent flavor. Noodles were basic.. I'm guessing pre-made. Plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños . I had the Vietnamese coffee. It was good although i prefer Thai coffee. The place was clean. This is my favorite Asian restaurant on the western slope because the food is the most authentic I have found. Service has always been timely and the servers are friendly. I like the decor with the bamboo they have on the walls and love the feeling of mini vacation when I eat here. Keep it up! read more

The food was pretty normal as pho goes. I got the brisket and rare steak pho medium. It was more than enough to fill and satisfy me. I also got a Mango Smoothie and it was pretty bomb, one of the better mango smoothies I have had. Would recommend for a nice lunch as it was brought out pretty quickly. read more

No Pho expert but I've tried a dozen different places or so. The Pho or soup thing as I put it, is good here. The broth is tasty and no overpowering in any way. The ingredients have looked and tasted fresh which I think is important and the chicken is good. I think the chicken is pretty basic which might be normal and every now and then you might get a chewy chicken but for the most part this place is great. read more

Ok pho spot. Big menu. The server tried pretty hard, but was either sloppy or had a language barrier. Very clean. Decent prices. Taking away two stars because my last experience wasn't great. I ordered pho tai and was brought the combo. Asked for steak on the side and that was missed too. The mung beans were not great either, but edible. We paid $30+ for two bowls, drinks and tip. They could be better for the price. I always eat here on my annual trips to GJ because I love pho, but only because there isn't a better store. I'm from the west coast and we have neighborhoods with dozens of pho shops, so my standards are pretty high. read more

The noodles and soup were great but we got an app fried shrimp and none of them were deveined which was very noticeable to taste and looks. The staff were nice and fast too though when I called about the shrimp all I got was a free food dish next time even though it was $15 for 6 on top of some lettuce. We decided to stop here in our way to Denver. We were happy we did. We had shrimp spring rolls, chicken Phoa and a sub. Everything was great. The rolls were freshly rolled with several shrimp, bean sprouts, cilantro and leaf lettuce. The peanut sauce was tasty but wasn't spicy at all so we fixed that with a dab of siracha. The chicken sub was of the stir fry variety. Sauce was tasty; sweet and spicy as were the crunchy veggies. The Phoa was perfect. Great broth and ample chicken slices. The bean sprouts were a little aged but tasted fine after cooking under the noodles for a couple minutes. Our server Star, was amazing. She was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. She knew the food and explained everything perfectly. The decorations inside are basic and the furniture isn't new but Do Not hesitate to stop in for a bite. read more
