What a happy day to eat delicious chicken pad Thai, chicken Penang curry (spice level 1 was spicy enough for me and I can't take too much), egg rolls and cucumber salad. The first thing that I did not like was how large the menu was. This is a Thai restaurant but they had items like gyoza and samosas on their menu. I ordered a Thai tea and found it to be delicious. For food we ordered a Chicken Pad Thai and a Beef Panang Curry. The portions of food are pretty large and great for sharing. The pad thai was okay, nothing out of this world. Easy takeout during COVID. The summer rolls were okay, but the hoisin and peanut sauces that came with them made them a lot better. The ginger entree with tofu was very good. So was the drunken noodles with tofu, but the noodles were kind of shredded/broken apart which is not typical of regular drunken noodles (long and wide), even though that's how the menu described them. Very solid Thai restaurant in Moab! You can order ahead online for convenience (faster than calling in or showing up and then putting in your order) but just be aware that you may still have to wait a little bit depending on when you go. I put in my order online and still had to wait another 15 minutes because they were so busy! Then they said they could make it, but due to the long wait time, they couldn't prepare it for us. Instead, they made us wait even longer. Visited this restaurant twice; once for dine in and then again a few nights later for take out. Dine-in experience was very good; the waiter was running around providing great service with an upbeat personality. We had drunken noodles which were very good; the highlight were the amazing vegetables and tofu that had perfect textures. Too many times with noodles/curries the veggies are over cooked and are moosh. Not this place! Vegetables tasted fresh and had great crisp while still also being cooked. We agree the sauce for the drunken noodles was not the best we've had, but the veggies and tofu made up for it. When I did take out, I did the drunken noodles again and was able to specify 2* for spicy level, which helped add a lot of flavor the sauce was lacking on our original dine in. Wow. I did not think a Thai restaurant in Moab would be this amazing. It seriously exceeded all my expectations. My friends and I have pretty high standards when it comes to Asian food and we were all shocked by the food here. We ordered samosas to start. They were crispy and I love that they used like a fillo dough so its light. Then we ordered tom yum, curry noodle soup, mango curry, and pad thai. Everything was delicious but what stood out to me was the curry noodle soup. It was super tasty and had just the right amount of spice. The service was also fast and friendly. We arrived about 30 minutes prior to closing and they greeted us like we were the first customers of the night. The food came out quickly and we were checked on a few times. Would definitely come back if I head to Moab again and would definitely recommend to other people traveling to that area. read more

On a February Friday night in Moab, I was celebrating my birthday and wanted to eat someplace quiet and elegant with nice ambiance. Josie Wyatt was a bit too spendy so I looked at Zax, Canyon Grill and 98 Center. Canyon Grill looked abandoned and had fluorescent lights like McDonalds, so that was a nope before I even set foot inside. Zax was absolutely mobbed with families, each with multiple fighting children and screaming infants, neither elegant nor quiet. 98 Center was mobbed with Gen-Zers out for Friday night cocktails and it was claustrophobic and ear-splittingly loud. Finally, in a desperate bid to get some peace and quiet I ventured over to Josie's but could not figure out how to get in and park. It was just as well because I saw this Thai place across the street and it was perfect! Affordable, delicious, elegant dishes prepared lightning quick but thoughtfully. I had crab rangoon and pad thai and it was a ton of food. Also enjoyed the cha manao tea which I'd never had before. And literally the icing on the cake: they kindly brought me rice ball dessert for my birthday! It was quiet and romantically lit with soft jazz playing just in the background. Mostly adults, no hordes of children screaming and fighting over hamburgers and fries. I highly recommend this sweet and romantic place for an elegant evening out after hiking! read more

Spent a couple days doing hikes at Arches and after a long day we were starving I was surprised to see an Asian place in Moab, UT so I had to to try it, well initially we went to another place but that place had a super long wait time and found this place. Got in and seated right away, the service was excellent the staff was very polite. I am giving this place 3 stars because every dish I had was just too sweet, though the food was really good the only downside was the sweetness. We ordered the chicken larb gai with medium spice and it was really sweet not spicy at all, my friend actually had to add some water and ask for a ton of lemon to doctor it up a bit. My Wonton Soup was flavorful and good but it was just too sweet and the Quint Platter was really tasty as well but again the sauces that came were all sweet. read more

You wouldn't think that you would find great Thai in the desert, Arches Thai is some of the best Thai food I have had. You can tell that this is a local's spot, so it's a great way to get delicious food and avoid the crowds. They have an extensive menu, so you might have a tough time deciding between all of the delicious options. I would definitely recommend the Shumai (dumplings) appetizer and the curry noodle dish. The curry noodle bowl is pretty big and is a great dish for two people to split. It's a little spicy but tolerable for most! It was just what I needed after a long day adventuring. We ordered takeout online on Christmas and really glad we did, because the wait for indoor dining was a good 40 mins and by the time we went to pick up our food, they were at 2.5 hours for takeout. The staff was definitely overworked, so I'm going to ignore the lack of pleasantries. They did the best they can. We ordered the pad thai, panang curry with octopus, drunken noodles and the wanton soup. Everything was 4/5 spicy. The wanton soup was delicious!! Perfectly warm, spicy, sweet, sour and a good start for after a long day of hiking. The panang curry was also delicious. My brother could not stop eating it. The drunken noodles were very good, just not as good as the panang curry and the soup. The pad thai, while being good, was our least favorite (and I'm a big pad thai fan). The food lasted us 2 meals so portion-wise it's good. A little bit pricey but that's ok. I will definitely order food from here if I visit moab again. read more

Ok I was skeptical... absolutely incredible Thai in Moab, UT??? Well... we were hungry and figured that it wasn't on a main street so we might get seated sooner. We were able to get a spot inside right away and got lucky because a rush came right after us. They also had a beautiful looking patio but it had a longer wait. We all tried a red curry, a green curry, and the pad thai... what can I say, we ate everything in sight. So good! Our waiter said the curries are their specialty. I wish I took my leftover curry sauce with me to make something at home. They were a little low on beer when we were there, they had some beer that wasn't cold yet and were missing some others -- guessing late delivery problems, but I'm not going to take off a star because I had to order a corona instead of an asahi. read more

Was in town for the night & staying a block away. Hungry & tired, we opted for nearest walkable location. They were SUPER BUSY & booked for Dine-in so we waited 45 min for takeout. Food was pretty good.... Tom kha soup wasn't "tangy" enough for me but pretty chunky... filling. Pad thai was good. Crispy duck was a bit over-cooked but the flavors were GREAT! (We chose sweet & sour sauce) We mixed Pad Thai & Crispy Duck together & it was GOOD! Drunken noodles were not stellar. Chicken chunks were very dry. They could definitely up their game... ESPECIALLY the B Health Dept rating. I didn't notice that until we'd already ordered. Won't eat there again til they get that up. Arches Thai delivered on just what we were craving.... delicious food in a nice atmosphere. Expect a wait for dinner, but the staff was very efficient on turning over tables. It took about 20 minutes to be seated. The prices are slightly higher than what I am accustomed to for a Thai restaurant. We ordered Dumplings as a starter and for our entrees Spicy Basil and the Pad Ka Praow. All the items were very flavorful and tasty. The portion sizes were very generous. In hindsight, we could have totally shared an entree. My only caveat would be is that the food was spicier than I anticipated! Their spice rating scale is 1-5. I ordered my Spicy Basil as a 3, but it was actually too spicy for my stomach to handle. One of the last things I expected in Moab, was a good Thai restaurant. Arches Thai defies that. read more

We went there around 3:30 in the afternoon after spending a long summer day at the Arches National Park. We were very tired and hungry. I guess we were lucky timing wise as there were not too many people in the restaurant at the time. So we got a table immediately and the food came out very fast as well. We ordered 3 items...pineapple fried rice with chicken, beef lo mein & pad woon sen with beef for 4 people. To our surprise that was more than enough for all of us, the portions are quite big!
