Big foodie here. I love Thai food, especially northern thai food. Went against the grain on the reviews and I'm Not sure why there are low reviews because this place was so good. I got the thom yum fried rice and it was pleasantly unique and flavorful!! Get it with the shrimp and you won't be disappointed - so large. read more

Food was delicious and very nice plating. Excellent service, fast and friendly! Beautiful place, nice outdoor patio and ambiance.

Awesome Thai food. A friend suggested this place and it did not disappoint. I had chicken larb gai, and my wife had beef nam tok. They both were incredible. A big bowl of chicken tom kha as an appetizer, also great. Strongly suggest you try this place. read more

Gluten free and dairy light eater. I was craving peanut sauce. So here I was. Early in the evening, ready to eat appetizers. They had alot of seating, inside and out. I asked if the chicken satay was gluten free. She said yes. I ordered: chicken satay, edamame, and fresh spring rolls. It was actually a good light meal. Everything was solid and perfectly simple. The reason this is a 3 and not a 4 star is because I felt terribly bloated after my meal. I suspected that the peanut sauce was made with regular soy sauce that includes wheat. I could be wrong but that feeling I had after was typical of wheat in my meal. If your gf and eat here, ask again or eat minimally/avoid peanut sauce. read more

Chicken pad Thai was surprisingly good and the egg rolls were fairly standard. I think what really irritated me was that there was Guest WiFi available to connect to but the server said that it was no longer available. Sounds silly, but take down the WiFi if it's not longer available to customers? Also, they automatically add a 20% tip if you dine in and you can't opt out. That was annoying, especially because it still promoted me to leave ANOTHER tip before signing the bill. Food was good, service wasn't. read more

I ordered through their website for pickup and that process was easy and it was ready when I arrived. The food was amazing. I ordered the red curry with veggies and tofu - literally the best I have ever had. Creamy! Spicy! Tasty! My husband also loved his Panama Curry with beef. I am looking forward to dinner when I will likely heat this up again. read more

Busy little joint serving delicious food. Most of the usual menu items are here along Wu a few that we hadn't experienced before. Unknown if these are 'authentic' to Thailand or not but who cares so long as they're good! There were four of us so we got an appetizer and four entrees. Each entree came with a bowl of steamed rice. Thai Toast - 3 - we could have passed on this. A little bit greasier than we had expected and not all that flavorful. Eggplant stir-fried with Beef - 4 - the beef was well marinated and tender. The eggplant and the sauce were perfect in flavor and texture. Deep Fried Tilapia in Garlic Sauce - 5 - my second favorite dish tonight. Cleanly fried fish, not at all greasy with some veg in a nicely done Garlic Sauce. Pad Woon with Seafood - 3 - the description was better than the execution. The seafood was four shrimp, four sea scallops and some squid. The seafood was well cooked but the sauce didn't marry it to the Pad Woon. Mango Curry with Chicken - 5 - everyone's favorite dish of the evening. The sweetness of the mango played nicely with heat of the yellow curry and the sweetness of the coconut milk. Chicken was an excellent protein to go with this dish although Tofu would have as well. Service staff was nice and checked on us frequently. read more

Forced to pay 20% tips without the service that is good to ask for that. We ordered 5 dishes only and no additional services. When I asked, the server says this city has laws to do 20% tips for parties of 4. Also, they include this very sneakily at the last line of the drink menu and do not include how much they will tip at food menu. read more

We were a bit disappointed in Arches Thai, we were expecting a bit more quality. The ginger entrée with pork was probably the best of the three dishes we tried, full of veggies, and overall good. The green curry was the second favorite, but not stellar. A bit heavy. The pho instead was the least favorite, nobody in the party liked it. The edamame were ok. At the end we regretted choosing this place, I'm sure there are so many better options in Moab. read more

Can't get any better in Utah! Plot twists!!! The family who owns this is from San Francisco. That explains a lot. Of course the food is authentic. I was a bit skeptical, but everything was phenomenal. Satay - $9.95 a portion. Too heavy on the curry or whatever seasoning they used. I could taste the chicken and it wasn't a good chicken taste. I would not buy this again. The PEANUT sauce though. Let's talk about that for a second. That.... that's some magical peanut sauce. (Management if you read this, do you guys have family who run a business in SF or anywhere in the bay!? I would SO go eat there! So let me know! ) Shrimp in a blanket - $8.95. If it was up to me, I WOULD never order this. This is a sin in an asian house hold. So easy to make. But when you have a hispanic bf, these are the main attraction. So simple but so good right? Crab Rangoon - $7.95 Another dish you should never order! But goddamn, crab rangoons are too good to pass up! Can't beat the fresh deep fried wontons. Real basic, but we got : Crab Fried Rice - $17.95. Delicious and big order. Chicken Pad Thai - $16.95 PRICY for pad thai but really good. Chicken Drunken Noodle - $16..95 also very pricy but good. The noodles here over all are pretty soggy compared to everything I am used to, but when in remote areas, you can't really be complaining! Food here is priced higher but is expected for a touristy city. Who knows, maybe supplies are more expensive or they could price is higher because they're that good. Either way, I'd probably come back when im back in MOAB, knowing the food is good. read more

Delish! Loved everything we ordered, and we ordered a lot: -Som Tam salad (green papaya salad) -Tom Kha soup (it's the one with coconut) -Tom Yum fried rice (same spices as the soup but in fried rice form) -Drunken noodles They along with the other Thai/Vietnamese/Japanese were the only restaurants in Moab we found which were open on Christmas and we were glad to have this as an option! Great food and service. Nice sized portions . Left with lunch for the next day. Nice find in a vacation town.

we got to Moab late, picked this Moab Thai as reviews were good. we waited at the front line for 10 minutes, no one cared to ask. we ordered 4 dishes: pad Thai - shrimp and squid; drunken noodle - beef; crab fried rice; paradise thai curry. all dishes were warm but not hot, we shared each other's dish. pad Thai and fried rice tasted plain, drunken noodle was salty, only paradise thai curry tasted normal and good. 20% was added to the bill without mentioning as other reviewers said, so it's about over $25/person. overall we were disappointed. read more

my dad and I came in for dinner around 9:25pm and were just told to order at the front. we weren't aware that dine in was no longer available so we assumed that it was typical procedure to just order in front then seat yourself. we ordered the pad thai w chicken and pad see ew w tofu. the pad thai was honestly a bit too sweet whereas the pad see ew was very good. no complaints there and I usually have high standards for pad see ew. i will say these dishes are on the pricier end - $20 for pad thai w chicken?? that's on par if not more expensive than some thai food in the bay area. we were sitting when someone came to bring over our food in a to go bag. it came out very quickly - maybe within 10 mins of us ordering which was reallyyy quick. since other people were still dining in, we asked if we could eat there which the guy said yes to. great! at the end, another guy came over and told us that they don't typically let people dine inside close to closing, sounded like he was kind of berating us for it? even though we had no idea and no one at the front told us anything (and made it an assumption for us). i appreciate that we were able to dine in but when i asked what to do with the trash at the end, he told us to take it back to the kitchen ourselves, which was really weird imo. other than that, seems like a cute place if u come earlier in the evening when you can actually dine in (and someone will let you know lmao) read more

From placing the order and receiving the food the waiter said "20-35 minutes". We waited over an hour for the food for takeout. I don't care if your sign says "not fast food" but you need to have some customer service etiquette when it comes to expected wait times and delays. At least offer water or a discount for people's troubles. Poor customer service, not even authentic Thai food, better off going somewhere where no one lies about wait times and does not even check on waiting customers to update changes in times. Try thinking about the starving hospital/EMS employees who only have an hour break. Try having empathy or do not service takeout. The phone is left off the hook anyway. read more

In A Nutshell: -Arches Thai was pretty legit. -Starting w/ a Thai staff to the food, everything was authentic. -The building appears to be an old home on a quiet street that is one street away from the main artery of Moab. -The Thai Basil Chicken & Papaya Salad were both very delicious, hit the spot after a long day of hiking & burning calories. We came in 10 minutes to kitchen closing (which occurs at 9:30) after wrapping up our hike in Dead Horse Canyon (highly recommended in its own right). The staff was accommodating to our last minute arrival, which was welcome as we were starved after our sojourn in the desert. My wife had the Tom Kha, which she enjoyed (she's not one for spicy) and I had fried gyoza and Thai Basil Beef. I was expecting the gyoza to be cooked in a skillet vs a deep fryer, so that was a bit of a disappointment, but I was hungry, so dug in. The Thai Basil, which I ordered medium spicy, had the right amount of kick (I do enjoy hot food, but definitely not a 4 chili pepper guy). Overall, good, healthy food and solid service. read more

Food was good and came fairly quickly to our table after we ordered. Service was a little slow to come to our table maybe because it started to get a little busier once we got seated. The dining area inside the restaurant was well lit unlike some other places where the lighting is so dim you can hardly read the menu. Overall this was a fairly decent Thai restaurant. We tried out this Thai place and got a takeout order. The menu is online and easy to see prices. I would say this is the best bang for your buck as far as Thai food in Moab and quality. We tried the pad Thai, the veggie fried rice, and the fresh rolls. I would skip the fresh spring rolls next time, but the pad Thai and fried rice was great! The quantity was good as far as the price goes. read more

Very decent vegetarian options. Very flavorful food and great ambience. Right in the middle of downtown.

We got here around 6:30 and were immediately seated. They have an indoor dining area and two outdoor dining areas, we opted to sit outside. We had the fresh garden roll appetizer which came with 4 pieces but they were a little small, we definitely could've gotten two orders for our group of 4. They also came with a peanut sauce and hoisin sauce. We had the massaman curry, pineapple rice, shrimp friend rice, and drunken noodles. All were very good and large enough portions to take some home. The service was good, but we didn't have one consistent waiter the whole time, which was fine. One thing to note is that a 20% gratuity is added to all checks. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would recommend to others! Service 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 Food 5/5 read more

Be careful with the check! They charge higher than the menu if you don't notice( see iced coffee and small Tom Kha soup)! Also there are flies wherever! We ordered the shumai, curry puffs, mango curry, and pad Thai--overall it was a great meal with fast service. The curry puffs were the awesome surprise of the night as we'd never had something like that before. It was very much a Thai curry flavor in there, and the pastry was delicate and crispy. As a note for people who like spicy food: We ordered our food at a 4 of 5 spice rating and...it was not spicy at all. So this is not a place that brings the heat and we were a little disappointed about that as we love a high heat level. read more
