Use Arby's mobile app regularly. App was missing lots of items off their menu. Decided to order something else just to use app. Then app said I couldn't submit order cause location was closed...was around 1pm. I went there inside, full of cars and OPEN. Did order in store and left. Sandwich was given completely wrong from what was ordered and on ticket. Went back in and got some attitude because I wanted a replacement. I went here today for dinner around 6:30pm. My meal came with a zucchini bread. I noticed it wasn't on my tray. I went back to the counter to let someone know. Marsha approached me and I let her know I was missing the zucchini bread. She showed me one saying it looks like this wrapped in a white bag. I let Marsha know I didn't get it. She said check your tray . I went back to check the tray. It wasn't there. I let Marsha know again I didn't have it. She handed me one with an attitude saying it's on your tray, I know I put it on there. I asked her to come and check the tray but she said no. Everyone else there was pleasant and helpful. I'm that person that will defend Arby's slander all day. Arby's is like the Chickfila of red meats. Fight me about it. The RIC airport-convenient location just got a face-lift, so it looks updated and more appealing from the exterior. The lunch-hour line was not too bad with 2 lanes and employees with iPads locked and loaded. I love the convenience of someone just coming to your car, but its also unfortunate that I can't see new items on the menu or know my options if I'd rather have 4 potato cakes over the default of 2. This type of set-up is definitely more tailored for the Arby's habitual eater that knows what they want. I've never had any issues with quality of food or service, so I'll return to get my fix, but I'll review the menu before hand if I want to try something new. read more

During these times it seems the fast food places are set up for take out the best. The people working here were very friendly. We got the special deal 5 roast beef sandwiches for $10. The sandwiches were delicious. The sandwiches had a lot of roast beef piled high in the rolls. I filled up with one sandwich. Spouse had two. Both happy and satisfied. Saving the other two for later. This isn't the first visit to this location. However, it might be my last. I decided after 16 hours of work I wanted something fast to grab for dinner. Order: Pecan Chicken Salad wrap today was an epic fail to deliver this properly. My wrap was a fold over, there was an abundance of mayo/sauce they use and NO CHICKEN. This had me completely confused as to how this happened. I am assuming it was to much sauce and the maker wasn't able to see. anywho...... Well now, the part that ruffled my feathers......you take my payment (check card) swipe it.......then you start playing on your phone with my card in your hand. Now I am nervous did she take a photo of my card front and back? When she saw me stretching up to look she handing me my card with no receipt. Now, I need to watch my account even closer. It's not too often that i write a review for a fast food restaurant, but this location intrigued me and i enjoy a big variety of food that i normally do not get to try at the Arby's in SoCal. i ordered a classic roast beef sandwich and they claim it's grass fed beef. Very cool, as i prefer grass fed for sure. The only drawback with the sandwich is that the beef was very much on the dry side and not juicy at all. I guess that's to be expected. I added some horsey sauce and Arby sauce to liven it up a bit. Now this location bakes its own cookies with many unique flavors. I will have to revisit as i cannot remember all the flavors. They also have custard for their shakes with all sorts of flavors and topping. I even got a taste of the custard and it was delicious. Why doesn't the Arby locations in SoCal have custard? I wish i knew why. They use ghiradelli chocolate with peanut butter, banana, oreo and jamocha. They have green tea as a choice of beverage which i dig and they make their own fresh lemonade which wasn't overly sweet like some can be. Hopefully next time i stop in, the meat will taste better. When I tell you I walked in and my jaw dropped.... I was shocked. NEVER in my life have I seen such an awesome Arby's. It was almost like they were trying to have the Boston market feel in combination with the fast food Arby's I loved it. There were items I have never seen on another Arby's menu. Awesome service! Friendly staff! Don't normally go to Arby's and didn't expect much. But very surprised of the "Richmond menu." Ended up ordering items just from recommendations from staff. Honestly, my wife and I always like Arby's. So we decided to stop for a quick bite before our flight out of Richmond. But this place is awesome compared to any Arby's I've been to. Clean and polite, but what's different is that everything seems upscale. Paging devices for the food orders. The food is great. Sauces on the tables. They have fresh roasted chicken. They have healthy choices. The Frosted Coffee shake is awesome, as well as their sundaes. The seating area is beautiful, and background music relaxing. Walked in the door, Greeted by cashier; "I have a bad attitude today". Um, OK. I was hoping that was her problem, and not mine. However, it quickly became mine. This is an Arby's, but vastly different from any I had ever been to, across the U.S. When i walked in, I did not see any of the familiar things, with other Arby's. There was no menu board. There was a bakery, and frozen custard counter. I saw a large cabinet of rotisserie chickens. I stepped up to the cashier, who quickly told me she had a "bad attitude today". I asked her why things looked so different? (explaining we had never been to an Arby's like this one), Where was the menu? She pointed to a very small menu on the counter, in front of the register I didn't have my glasses on (as I was expecting the large menu board) I couldn't make out any of the small print. I explained this. She snapped, "what do you want?" I explained what I usually order. She said "fine". I asked about the custard, bakery and chickens, as I had never seen this before. She snapped that it was a "franchise". I asked about ordering a chicken to-go. She said; "it's on the menu".... after I had just explained the eye glasses. My husband piped in an said "I don't see a whole chicken". Cashier; "it's there" with a very loud sigh and snark, she then said "it's 8 pieces". We finalized our order. She threw a device across the counter, as she snapped my payment out of my hand. I didn't know what it's purpose was, or if it was actually meant for us. I asked the cashier. She dramatically rolled her eyes, sighed and scoffed, very loudly, before explaining, it would vibrate, when the food was ready. The restaurant was very nice. Very clean. The counters, drink station, tables and rest rooms were nice, and clean. There are very nice light fixtures. The windows are angled to create a greenhouse effect. A large ficus tree lives, (and thrives in the middle of the restaurant). There is even a raised upper level, of seating. The food came as ordered.... except the "shake". My husband always orders a Jamoca shake. Instead, he was given a Jamoca frozen custard. We are not sure they offer shakes? I did sneak a bite, it was delicious!! My husband noticed a bottle of hot sauce on the table. He really liked it. I suggested he purchase a bottle. He went to the counter, and asked the same cashier about making the purchase. She said she didn't know anything about it. The sauce was sitting right in front of the register, she stood at. She was very snarky, and terse. Something came over us, and we decided to order a rotisserie chicken meal, to-go for supper, that evening. Big mistake!!!! The cashier seemed very angry, very RUDE and very bothered by us. Her "bad attitude" was in full effect! We had never ordered this before, we had a few minor questions. She was NOT happy about any of it. To say she had a "bad attitude" was a vast understatement. I am diabetic, and baked potatoes are a NO-NO. I was beyond excited to see that they offered baked sweet potatoes (a "go") for diabetics. We ordered "seasonal salads" and baked sweet potatoes. At supper time, we opened the bags... the salad were teeny... literally several pieces of lettuce. Not the "seasonal" Caesars, as described by "bad attitude". And ordered by us. The potatoes? Baked russets!!! The chicken (which was not "whole" and was so very dry, it was really way past dry... it was inedible!!!! Chicken jerky. Also, the bones were "melted" into the meat.... which tells me, way, way, way overcooked. Was happily excited when we saw the interior atmosphere... if all fast-food places looked this nice, comfy and inviting... it would be fantastic... but, if I am immediately met with "I have a bad attitude today" by the very employee that is literally the face, and exact representation of Arby's, why would I waste my time, or hard earned money?? We purchased two meals that day. Could only literally eat one... and had to throw the other, in the trash!! The roast beef was the usual. No complaints. But, I take a great deal of heartache with the person taking my hard earned money, being so RUDE, nasty, and unpleasant.... I doubt, we will ever risk this location again. Which is a shame. I am intending to sound harsh.. but, when I am spending my hard earned money, purchasing a product and purposefully decide to spend my time and money at a business... your "bad attitude" is your problem, and in no way should become mine. I understand this Layout is called the "super Arby's" what it really is , is Arby's trying to be a Panera Bread. They have stripped the menu of a lot of the standard Arby's sandwiches. The turkey sandwich I got had half the meat from normal. They give you a pager, like Panera bread, when it goes off , there is a special area to the left to pick up your order( again like Panera Bread. ) and all the way to the right you can buy some big cookies to make up for being hungry after your stripped down lunch. Never saw an Arby's like this. Really if I was in the mood for a Panera Bread experience, I would go there. read more

Haven't been to Arby's in a long time but my BFF just had to have them. The lady that was taking our order went to check on fresh cookies because the ones upfront were hard. This Arby's has a lot of issues. My last 2 orders in as many months have been wrong and missing items. Example..the French dip and swiss, I have ordered this twice now and there has not been cheese on either sandwich. Also, ordered and paid for apple turnovers and they were not put in the bag. No, we did not go thru drive thru. Also, I have tried to call the restaurant several times all to no avail. No one bothers answering the telephone. We are done with this location!!!! For the prices Arby's isn't that great anymore. I received cold curly fries and had to go inside to return for hot. They seem to concentrate on adding new items to the menu, instead of consistent quality. The customer service experience leaves something to desire. Being around as long as Arby's has been around, you expect better. Overall visit doesn't make me want to come back. read more

Been coming here since I was a kid and very little has changed except for the counter area. It's really starting to show it's age. Food is always hit or miss here. This time my roast beef sandwich was dry and the fries weren't fresh even though we were there on the tail end of a rush. Not a huge fan of "super Arbys" theme. Somehow they think that ordering, sitting down, coming back up to get your food and getting back up for refills instead of getting everything in one pass gives you a better experience. I visit this Arby's roughly once per month. In the last year, I can think of at least 3 or 4 times where I have ordered a beef and cheddar and received a regular roast beef. I always use the drive through, so unfortunately I don't catch the incorrect order until I have gotten back to work.
