Competing with chains like In-and-Out, Chick-fil-A, A&W, Shake Shack, Culver's, and Steak 'n Shake. Being my first time trying it, I opted for both a beef and chicken burger. The hamburger was a double cheeseburger and the chicken was the breaded spicy one. Both were "all the way" which includes lettuce tomato and onions and condiments. The beef is very similar to that of In-and-Out, it's juicy and greasy. But the patty is bigger, similar to the size of a whopper. The double burger is at least 1/4 pound of meat. The spicy chicken is breaded and not too spicy. There is a kick, but not as potent as Burger Kings angry chicken. This didn't do much for me and IMO can't hold a candle to Chick-Fil-A's or Jollibee's. The fries are nothing special either. The cut is in between McD's and BK. They're not bad, but they're not great either. Overall, Whataburger's burgers are clearly the choice if you're to dine here. I didn't try their grilled burger and in hindsight should have tried that over the breaded spicy chicken. If I'm being honest here, I'd have to say I prefer Whataburger's double cheeseburger over Steak 'n Shake and In-and-Out when looking for that greasy munchies meal after a pub crawl. Upon walking in I saw two spits spinning in the flame with Al Pastor being cooked. The taco prices are very cheap, starting at $2.50 each! They only sell Al Pastor, but they have beer, sodas, and water too. They also have a nice assortment of 4 sauces they make, which were all amazing too! The tortillas were great! Perfect size for the taco and the meat on the taco was spot on for Al Pastor! Flavor was great, meat was fresh and moist, and the amount they put on each taco was huge! Highly recommend stopping in!

Didn't get the guys name taking the order but he was extremely nice and welcoming. Food was fresh and quick and delicious. Next time I'm in San Antonio I'm looking forward to going back and trying different items on their menu.

We placed a large order with 15 separate meals, which I know can be a challenge for any restaurant, but they handled it with so much patience and professionalism. The kitchen got pretty much everything correct, which honestly deserves recognition because large group orders are not easy. We arrived right before the lunch rush, so a lot of people came in after us and had to wait a bit. What I really appreciated was that Mark himself came out to speak with guests and explain the delay. That level of care and hands-on customer service stood out to me. Mark has an incredible story, and I made sure to share it with our crew. Everyone was excited that we were able to support a local Black-owned business while in town. And most importantly... everything was AMAZING. The burgers were bomb. I had the Original Fatty's Burger, and one of my coworkers did too with with bacon. Pictured here, another coworker had the 1LB Lineman Burger with fries. And the banana pudding was absolutely divine made with real bananas! The food was a hit with the entire crew, and we cannot wait to come back again if we had the chance.

He said that they had lost the order, then proceeded to take forever to do something about it. He told my mom that they can't start the order until we arrive at the location, which we had arrived a long time before that so it should've been ready by then. He also kept saying how they thought we weren't there because there wasn't a silver car in spot 5. We had put we arrived and were in spot 5 if you see someone is in spot five GO AND TALK TO THEM TO SEE IF THERE WAS A MISTAKE. That's common sense, but this worker kept saying "Are you in a silver car? We couldn't see your car." Very keen on proving a point. Eventually they gave us the food but it took over 45 minutes to get our food during our limited lunch. If you go make sure to put the correct car or the workers will throw a fit apparently.
