Arby's

Arby's on Centre Pointe Drive in North Charleston is one of my favorite Arby's locations in the area. This Arby's is well managed and operated and the food is delicious and well prepared when you need it. It is easy to get in and out of here during the middle of the day when you are hungry and need a snack or something more. I have consistently had a really good experience here.

Very satisfying for only $2.85! Bread and meats were fresh and the sauce on the buffalo chicken slider is great.

I've been here a handful of times now and the first visit was 5 stars! $2.85 for two sliders. Right amount of meat, cheese, and sauce. Yum. But I'm finding that not to be consistent. When I got my slider out of the box today, all of the cheese had melted down and was stuck to the bottom of the box and when I opened the sandwich up to add the sauce, there was one paper thin piece of roast beef. So pretty much I had a bread and sauce couple of bites!! Even at $1.29 that's embarrassing that they really sent that out to someone.

Everyone was friendly. It wasn't that busy. You cost fingering with their $1 sliders etc.

It was so good I had to go back! The Brunch bowl is what I order both times ( I wish I tried something else) and the "grit balls" were delicious. Service was fast and prompt even with a full house. And the woman at the counter (she was in the kitchen and ran food, greeted guests as they pick up their food, possibly a chef) was EXTREMELY nice and outgoing. She seemed to really enjoy her position and kept order in the kitchen. Food was delicious if I haven't already said so, so much flavor, a Carolina quality kinda spot! I highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional, yet casual place to dine. Thank you Grit Counter!

The parking lot was packed, and most tables were already taken when we walked in, which is always a good sign. You order at the counter and then grab a seat while they bring the food out to you. The menu is extensive, with plenty of dishes built around grits (as the name suggests). I went with the chicken and waffles, and it was loaded with flavor--crispy fried chicken breasts, a Belgian waffle, chunks of bacon, and a blueberry compote on the side. The whole plate was enormous; I definitely didn't finish it. My husband ordered the fried chicken and fish platter with French fries, and it was equally generous in size. We also started with the grit fritters as an appetizer, and they were fantastic--crispy on the outside and a nice surprise inside. Overall, the food was really on point with big, satisfying portions. The waitstaff seemed super busy but stayed friendly and attentive. The only downside for me was having to bus your own table at the end. Prices for lunch felt a little high at first glance, but when you consider the huge portions, they're pretty reasonable. We'll definitely be heading back soon.

There were still plenty of baked goods in the display case around 1pm but after a heavy lunch, we wanted something simple but sweet. The chocolate chip cookie was perfect - crispy on the edges, chewy and soft center. And only $1!!! What a steal. They've got local kombucha on tap - we tried the Wake Up Call - which had green tea, Yerba mate & blueberry - super refreshing! We also ordered a pistachio pinwheel but unfortunately, it did not hold up well for the photo (some precious pastry was wasted UGH). But take my word for it, it tasted delicious! They offered my pup a treat and took a photo for their Instagram feed lol. You may still find it if you scroll back far enough. Overall, I found Charleston to not be a dog friendly city and EVO Craft Bakery welcomed us with open arms. Greatly appreciative for the hospitality and delicious treats!

I ordered the duck BLT with fries cooked in duck fat, and wow--easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The sandwich was perfectly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and those fries? Completely next level. Crispy, flavorful, and honestly addictive. We also tried the wings, which were just as impressive--perfectly cooked with great flavor and just the right amount of kick. To top it all off, their rotating cocktail was creative, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. The vibe is laid-back and fun, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything came out quickly. It's the kind of spot you go to once and immediately start planning your next visit. Five stars all the way.

Thought I escaped that BS when I left the West Coast. Guess not. Really put a sour taste in my mouth. Don't think I'll go back.
