This is my 2nd time at Culver's and it was a great experience! I'm from California and we don't have a Culver's there. The moment I saw something new I had to try it and I'm glad I did. The food here delicious I enjoyed the Mushroom & Swiss burger and their frozen custard (ice cream) so far. The chili cheese fries are good too. I have yet to try their chicken or seafood items but they offer them as well providing a variety of options for a fast-food chain. The inside of the restaurant as well as the outside are clean and organized. Service is amazing they bring your food out to you if you're dining in and which I find to be quite unique since at most fast-food chain you're picking it up. read more

First of all, I love Culver's. They have good food, and usually, they have good service too. Today, I had to come inside to get my order fixed. I asked for a chocolate concrete and I got a vanilla one. I came inside to ask them to make me a chocolate one like I asked for. This has happened before. They make me a new one and let me keep both the new one and old one. Today, I came inside, the lady I asked about it was very nice. She told the other employees to make me another concrete. I heard the male employee say something like, "oh no I'm not remaking this, make her come inside." Then I heard the woman who I originally asked about it say, "she did come inside. She's right over there." Then they all started laughing. I mean, I guess it's good to have fun at work, but rude comments about customers should be left at the door. I didn't do anything but order my food and get the wrong item. I don't like vanilla. Now I feel like I inconvenienced this man at his own job. Anyway, this is a rare occurrence. Most of my trips here are lovely. I get the pot roast sandwich usually with pretzel bites. It's so good. The lady (who apparently can't hear) (who took my order) needs to improve her customer service skills. I was there with friends after a school field trip. The whole time I was giving her my order, she kept saying "huhh". I had to yell my order to her. I went to pay for my order and she turns around and walks off, but she did hand me my cup for my drink. She never returned to the register after I stood there close to 10 minutes. After waiting, I decided to at least I would get my drink filled at the fountain. She walked up behind me and said "you never have paid". I said ok, so I walked to the register and had my money out to pay her and she turns around and walks off again. Another cashier walks up and takes my order AGAIN and I paid. It took 22 minutes to receive my food. I had just ordered a two piece chicken tenders and a sweet tea. It was a very basic meal. The food was OK. I will never go to another Culver's ever again and I will tell my school so we do not have this listed on our places to eat on a school field trip read more

My wife saw a commercial while here in SC , so we thought we try it Wasn't disappointed they make a great burger and shakes also they have shrimps fish and a pot roast sandwich. This is our typical monthly after church and broke place to eat.. where else can you get four kids meals and one adult meal for around 40 bucks. Speaking to the people at the counter is typically comedic based on who you get because some I have gotten are very efficient and no what they're doing but quite frequently I've got what appears to be the first day employee who makes me laugh as they try to figure out where things are that I am ordering. This was my first visit to a Culver's. I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed it! The shakes were wonderful and some of the best I've had. The fillings were great and the ice cream tasted thick and creamy. The butter burger was delicious. I'd happily go back for another one. However, the fries are pretty weak. They're a little bland and not memorable. The service was also a little weak. The food took a while to get out and I saw multiple tables going back to get items they didn't have. Let's update: Had the cashew chicken salad today along with a Turtle Custard and the Wifey had a single Butter burger. We are always so please at how courteous the staff is here, and the place is as clean as a whistle. This salad had a load of cashews in it and some very delicious chicken. As a firstimer I never expected to find someone in a fast food joint to wanting to make a difference. We went for a hamburger and after patiently waiting for us to decide we finally told the lady on the other side of our choice. After all our order was taken she offered a free sample of their frozen custard. It was delicious Hamburger was good. Next day we went back for dessert only and the puppy was in the back seat, at the cashier window, the lady offered us a small sample of the frozen custard for the dog, I said why not, he never eats anything different than his dog food unless I am grilling chicken or steak. He loved it! halfway I had to move the sample away from him so he wouldn't get a frozen brain. My first time trying Culver's my husband (who is from Nebraska) drove us to Grovetown, GA so that I could experience the richness of the butter burger, frozen custard, and cheese Curds. As I was driving home on Saturday, I noticed this new location in Summerville, SC. I immediately called my husband told him to get dressed that I had a surprise for him. Upon arrival, my husband couldn't contain his delight. There was plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and very nice servers ( mostly teenagers). The place was buzzing with Happy and excited customers. My husband ordered the Culver's Mushroom and Swiss Butter Burger Basket with a Culver's Root beer and I had the Culver's Butter Burger Bacon Deluxe basket with a strawberry Milk shake (so much for a summer beach body). Just like in Grovestown,GA, our burgers were fresh, tasty, well seasoned, and prepared to perfection. The buns were fresh, buttered, and toasted. The veggies on my burger were fresh and crispy, I was able to hear a crunch with every bite. Again, this was the juiciest, best cooked, best seasoned, best prepared Burger, I've eaten since my last Culver's Butter burger. Wow, so I guess the only way to get a military discount is to purchase everything a la cart now a days.After looking at the receipt I guess the only item that saved 10% for military appreciation was the $4.09 pretzel bites. I guess it's a small gesture but I guess it's no longer about sacrifice but about optics to say that someone supports the military, but with an exception. My wife and I ate here for dinner. I went through the drive thru and took the food home. It was the grand opening so it was very busy. They had employees directing traffic in the parking lot which made things go a little smoother. The butter burger was very good and filling. The burgers come plain, and you have the option to add your toppings. The fries were cooked perfectly and not soggy. They just needed a little bit of salt. We also tried the chicken tenders. They were different but a good different. They were also very tender. I also picked up 2 concrete mixers (similar to what a blizzard is at DQ). They are made with fresh frozen custard. I got my wife the salted caramel which was good. I had a chocolate with m&m one. It was so rich and delightful. Sorry to all the ice cream places, but I now have a new go to place for the cold treat. Went to Culver's for the 1st time and the general manger Quan Bailey came around and asked us how our food was awesome! The butter burger, the pretzel bites w/real cheese sauce and cheese curds are incredible. Quan was so genuine, kind, friendly, and made us feel extremely valued...and I was a first time guest! He gave me a coupon for a free scoop! The restaurant has flowers on each table which just added a personal touch. The booths and floor were extremely clean and the food was out of this world! I'd say 3.5 stars on the food, but rounded to 4 for the nice restaurant and friendly employees. First time visiting a Culver's after having friend rave about their butter burgers. The burger was pretty good, but not the best thing ever. Maybe it's better if you get more than one patty; I mostly tasted lettuce and tomato on mine with the single patty. The buttery bun did add a nice touch. The crinkle fries were also good, but nothing special about them (no extra seasoning or anything). Basic soda and tea options on the self-serve drink station. Restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and brought food to my table quickly. That's a nice feature so you don't wait for your food around the counter or have to walk back up when it's ready; more fast food joints should deliver to your table. Our experience at Culver's was comparable to Chik Fil A. My husband is a frequent customer and loves their burgers. This was my first time ordering from Culver's. We decided to dine inside, we have 3 boys, all enjoyed it. My 5 year old said it was his new favorite burger place. It was 6:00 pm and the drive thru was busy but somehow the employees still had time to walk around the dining area and offer to clean up our empty tray and offer ice cream samples. Culver's definitely got me through the hot summer with their sweet treats however I did catch a glimpse of the burgers that the servers were delivering to tables while I stood in line for my dessert and they looked REALLY small. Visited family over Thanksgiving and we just wanted something quick. Given that Culver's is more of a Midwest/East Coast thing, we went here for some burgers and fries. Extensive menu with anything you ever want from a burger place. I believe they're known for their ice cream and shakes and stuff, but didn't get any of those.
