First things first, it has to be a really good place to earn a 5-star review. This Arby's absolutely deserves it. It is hands down the cleanest fast-food restaurant and restrooms my wife and I have ever been in. Yes, even cleaner than Chick-fil-A, and the food is better too. We make it a point to stop here whenever we're heading south or on our way back home. Every single meal we've ordered has been fresh, hot, and consistently good. On this trip, my wife had the turkey club sandwich with curly fries. I ordered one of the new Meat & 3 meals, the fried chicken sandwich, which came with small fries, a cheese stick, and a peach cobbler roll-up. Everything was excellent. We dined in, and like most times we're here a manager walked around checking on guests and making sure everything was good. We were talking about how much we enjoy stopping at this location because of the food quality and how clean the restaurant is. I mentioned I had been talking with the gentleman at the table next to us who was eating the chicken vegetable soup, he said it was very good and had plenty of chicken in it. The manager asked if we had tried the zucchini bread. We hadn't, so he left and came back with a muffin for us to try , it was very good. The new peach cobbler roll-up is excellent, and I really hope it doesn't get discontinued. They used to have a caramel cookie that was the best and unfortunately they stopped selling it. Honestly one of the things I missed most about Virginia while I was travelling for work was an arbys I trusted. I had $0.90+ change from my order and told my server (drive thru) to keep the change and she (Scarlet) said she could not accept it. Scarlet said her manager, Buddy, would not approve and that she did not want to do anything that might get him in trouble because he was the best manager she's ever worked for. Food, as usual, is delicious and fresh. Ice cream shakes fantastic. But...especially commendable was the service we got today from someone who may have been the manager. I wish I'd asked him is he was. We came in as a family group with very complicated order. He showed patience and great efficiency in handling the order and all with welcoming smile on his face. Really, really great experience here! Luis was so helpful and gracious! The mozzarella sticks were hot and exactly like you would hope for! Luis recommended the boneless buffalo wings-and they were terrific! As good as you would get at a sit down restaurant! My husband had the fish sticks, and he loved them! This is a really nice Arby's... Visually. So I'll start by saying you forgot my $3.49 cent curly fries, what a joke on that price in and of itself. Shrinkflation much? It was an online order so the manager "Sean" literally sealed the bag shut as to give me affirmation that the order is complete. It was two sandwiches and fries brother get a grip on it. There's is so much structurally wrong with staffing at this place. Not understaffed, just no communication amongst the employees. They don't have a game plan on day to day operations. read more

This is the fanciest Arby's that I have ever stepped foot in. It is reminiscent of an Alaskan lodge, so my visit here is as close to a vacation that I'm going to get in the time of Covid. I was pleased to see that their menu is expansive with plenty of healthy options and even a decent selection of vegetarian options! Their broccoli is so good - even better than what I've had at a lot of full service restaurants. From classic roast beef to rotisserie chicken to a burrito bowl to a veggie plate - this Arby's truly has something for everyone and the prices are reasonable too. Our cashier Flo is a customer service superstar! She was pleasant, friendly, and brought our food directly to our table. All of the employees were properly wearing PPE including masks. Next time I'm in the Short Pump area, I'll be visiting here again. Can't ask for better service or a wider variety of healthier food at such a decent price point. read more

Our group of 4 was really hungry. We opened the door, wondering how we ended up in this Alpine retreat (seriously, the decor gets all the stars). The guy taking our order was super friendly, as was the guy bringing it to our fuschia-chaired Valhalla banquet table. I should have known better than to order a Chipotle salad w/guac at a fast food sandwich place. It arrived looking like hot brown. (What's a hot brown?) No signs of green. We were also missing an order of curly fries. When I asked about the $2.49 guacamole, the guy in a very sincere and friendly manner told me that they ran out. He needed to be told that since I was charged, either refund me or give me a $2.49 guac equivalent. A lady confirmed they ran out and she could give me avocado instead. She proceeded to pop a sad looking tiny avo half from shrink wrap into a cup. We exchanged glances and she popped another in after it. Everyone's food was dry, tasted like a sad shadow of its former self and like it had been out all day. I really don't even consider Arby's to be fast food. The service and quality of food far surpasses even some it down restaurants that I've been to. Most recently, I hit this Arby's up on a night that I really didn't feel like figuring out dinner. I ordered the whole chicken meal with four sides for my family. Their rotisserie chickens are so good, they just hit different. I was thrilled to see spiced apples on the menu, so I chose those plus macaroni and cheese, lima beans, and broccoli as our sides. My favorites were the broccoli and spiced apples. So good! I love that you can get a hearty, healthy meal for the whole family in a drive thru for $24.99. Amen to that! read more

This Arby's is consistently clean and the service is friendly. I normally don't review fast food but felt the need to give props to this location. I know if I use their restroom, it will be clean. Their staff is always cleaning tables, wiping down the glass doors, cleaning counters and greeting people upon arrival. The decor feels like I'm on a glamping trip out west. It's very comfortable and well kept. The food is typical Arby's food but somehow, it tastes better at this location. Keep up the great work! read more

They have downgraded the chicken sandwich from a breast piece to a very thin processed chicken patty. Same high price, tho. Yesterday, I ordered a Rueben sandwich. I ordered inside, Buddy was the cashier. Buddy also packed my bag to go, so I thought it would be correct. I checked the bag, at the bottom was a sandwich wrapped in white paper (how they usually come). When I got home, I opened the wrapper and got a dry, disgusting Turkey, cheese, bacon sandwich- Not a Rueben! I was so disappointed. It was St. Patrick's Day and I had been craving a Rueben all day. I ususally don't review fast food restaurants but this Arby's is like no other one that I've ever seen. First off, it's huge! And its architecture and decor is that of a ski lodge. To add to that, they have a separate Coolblue Smoothies stand and a Barbacoa burrito/ taco stand. The Coolblue Smoothies and everything at the Barbacoa stand is amazing. Definitely an added bonus to the great food that Arby's already has. There is always a minimal wait of 5 minutes to receive your food. But that's expected for any place that serves made to order food. As a result, the quality is great. But on the flipside, if there's a long line, it might be a little more than 5 minutes until you get your food. read more

I have him my order and he looked at me like a deer in headlights. To management, please teach your staff whether new or current how to greet and thank customers. My nieces and nephew call this the "Super Arby's". When you go in, you can certainly see why. This is their favorite place to eat. Along with the usual Arby's fare, they also have plenty of things grown-ups like to eat as well, including a Barbacoa tortilla bar, roasted chicken and all sorts of wonderful sides. You can have a regular meal and not feel like you settled for fast food. The decor is more like a NW hunting lodge, complete with a big totem pole inside. The have free wifi, too. read more

It is unfortunate that the Arby's at this location gives all of them a bad name. We were greeted by a young man at the car window assuring us that what we were ordering is what we would get. He lied when he said that Arby's has salads with a variety of individual requests. All of the salads are prepared and are boxed ready to sell. No changes are made. I believe that is the best way to present them and sell them. It is important to be honest with customers and tell us that information. If a change cannot be made then the customer can order a different item from the menu. This Arby's sells prepared salads, boxed and sent early each morning. read more

I don't normally leave feedback for fast food joints but this one is above and beyond fast food and it surpasses ANY and ALL Arby's I've ever been too. You walk in and have a choice of regular Arby's fare or can opt for burritos or shakes. We ordered from each area of the restaurant and while the roast beef sandwich w/cheese was lacking in the cheese department, they did remedy the situation when brought to their attention. Okay, again I have opted for the other dish, not the one the place is known for, but one of the other offerings--the turkey burger. (Read my review of Nelly's Grill to see what I'm talking about.) Is it so much to ask for everything on the menu to taste good? I feel like I choose secondary items without realizing it, until I'm eating it. The turkey burger looked good on the menu, offering a great selection of toppings, from jalapenos to secret sauce. Extra cost for cheese and for bacon, so I got neither. After I ordered, the guy at the window asked me to pull up and wait 3 minutes because everything is "made to order." I get my burger, drive back to work and get to my desk to unwrap it. First, it's so messily put together, I have to re-stack it. Fine, whatever, could be my erratic driving. Then I bite into it and, well, what exactly is made to order? The turkey burger is so obviously from the freezer, its gross. Not soft, juicy, or anything you want meat to be. I know frozen patties are the name of the game in fast food, but at least McDonalds, Wendy's, and Burger King all know how to hide it a little better. I'm a toppings girl, which is what saved my lunch. Obviously, I guess I will eat close to cardboard if there's lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, secret sauce and mustard on top. I have been going to Arby's since 1996 when I moved to Richmond. There are several locations including West Broad, Short Pump and Patterson Ave. that are all owned by the same owner. For years, these places were awesome! I couldn't say enough good things about these restaurants. Now, however, things have gone downhill. Way downhill. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes bordering on nasty. I just ate there today and literally threw out my meal. I believe this is the last time I will go there. This is my favorite Arby's location in the area. The dining area has a nice ambience (Yes Arby's). The ski lodge decor is cool! There's a burrito and dessert station at this location as well. The employees are polite. Service is usually fast. I don't eat Arby's often but this location definitely lures me in from time to time (while shopping at Short Pump Mall). There's plenty of parking surrounding the restaurant. This Arby's is a good choice if you want a different fast food ambience. read more

Don't go through the drive-thru. I'm never satisfied at this location. They don't even deserve one star. The drive-thru team always makes me wait at least 20 minutes and my food is always cold. The awesome part about waiting that long is that there isn't even one car in front of you, so what are they doing for 20 minutes when you receive cold food? When you complain they don't do anything. Today I was so upset that I demanded new food and a refund and they wouldn't even refund the entire amount. I try to eat here every 6 months in hopes that they get better, but no. Arby's in Short Pump is pretty bomb for a fast food joint. The location is extremely clean, and the staff must go through the same training as the Chick Fil A folks across broad, because everything you need is their pleasure. I always get the same thing at every Arby's, roast beef sandwich with curly fries. The roast beef was stacked on high, and the curly fries were good. You do have to upgrade, unfortunately, to a medium or large to get enough fries, if you want a lot. You do get a really big drink with the upgrade though. read more

Drive thru experience was terrible. The customer service was so bad. The gentleman was rude, also seemed very rushed to get me in & out. I understand that I'm in a "fast food" setting but with only a 30 minute lunch break this is convenient for me. I also work in a retail setting (much different than fast food) but if I am paying $13 for a meal I would like for my drink order to be correct & my sandwich not thrown in a box. My cheese wasn't even on the sandwich. Extremely disappointed. These employes should be more concerned with pleasing their customers, which is typically the responsibility of the management.
