Very busy on Saturday night. Whoever designed the entrance did a poor job. People were walking in the door to pick up orders as patrons were coming in to dine. There was nobody from the restaurant around to seat anyone for about 10 minutes. Very unorganized but we were finally seated outside. Our waiter was new and brought us four plates but only Silverware for two. He was running from table to table trying to take orders. He took the order at a table that was seated after us. After we placed our order we received three of the four orders within 30 minutes while the fourth order took an additional 30 minutes. Everyone was almost finished when the fourth one came out. It was made in about 15 minutes and was quite large(about the size of a large takeout pizza). The steak was quite mediocre. I liked the mushrooms and garlic aioli drizzle. Staff and service were ok. For a chain pizza restaurant it wasn't that bad, I've had better pizza here but that could've been the pizza I selected. Overall you'll get an above average pizza. Something is off here. We all remembered the mellow mushroom of our past that was worth driving out of your way for and was really top notch. This however was absolutely mid at its best. The service and our server were great and the drinks were good. However, the food left so much to be desired if you were still hungry with the fruit flies flying everywhere. They were landing on our food and were literally swatting the flies away. (pictured) The floors were greasy and slippery. The calzones were the best items of the night, as agreed upon by the group. I'd only gone to the location in Carytown and other states, so i was glad we came here for my niece's birthday party. The staff was laid back and friendly, even lending a hand in organizing the table arrangements. Service was cool and everyone was able to do things easily. I always order a calzone, because usually they're amazing. There was a new one, like a cheesesteak, as the fillings (similar to what I ordered), so I tried it out...... bad idea. The steak itself is tough and flavorless, I ended up picking it all out and eating the calzone just with the veggies period It seems they put a lot of meat and not so much cheese because the seasoned ricotta and mozzarella were almost non existant!! I met a friend here for dinner. I grew up with mellow mushroom and was excited when this location came here! Delicious food and cocktails! While in the Short Pump area, my wife and I decided to have an early dinner before making the 45 minute drive home. First time visiting MM in Richmond, and decided to order and extra pizza, and take leftovers home to freeze for another dinner later. We ordered the House pizza, and the Pacific Rim. I would say the House was a little better, but both are honestly very good. A bit expensive, but in the end we did get two meals out of it. I felt as if the waitress could've been a little more attentive throughout our whole stay there we were a party of five and ordered few different items. Ordered salad and calzone. Salad came out and within one minute the calzone came out. We asked if they could keep the calzone warm while we ate our salad and we were told that they couldn't do that. When we got the calzone the inside was cold. When I told the manager on the way out how disappointed we were with the service and food she told me that they didn't cook the calzone correctly due to new cooks. This is for the pizza. Ordered 10 plain pies to go to bring to a bunch of boys in town for a soccer tournament. Online ordering on 10 plain pies is pretty straight forward. Pies look good in the box, and this group powered back immediately. Philly kids, they can be picky relative to their home town faves but liked the pizza. I'd say the sauce is sweeter than some but very bright. Crust was given time to cook, sometimes that does t happen on a bill buy. Service is often very slow, especially when ordering online. On Tuesday, we ordered pizza and salad for pick up. Order was to be ready at 6:41. It wasn't ready until 7:50. Many upset customers when I arrived and it only got worse as time passed. Manager was non responsive and downright rude to several customers who were asking for refunds. All I can say is wow! Great pizza! Small is just right for one person. The crust is delicious and that's what makes it so good. I got a Bob Marley inspired special pizza and it was delicious. I also got a order of heavenly wings that had a strange sauce that I really can't describe , white with garlic and a blend of spices I couldn't quite put my finger on, I ate two or three pieces and was not really impressed, so I ate the rest of the pizza and then took the rest home, well the next day, I cut grass and worked in my yard for a couple hours and came in and looked for something to eat, well nothing really caught my attention so I figured I would just eat the leftover wings and then get some dinner later, wow! Considering the way I was treated today, I will never go back to the store at Short Pump. I was made to feel like I was a nuisance for asking for my missing toppings and shown indifference and anger for speaking up to request a correction on their mistake. I ordered the Holy Shitaki with vegan cheese and pepperoni, and when I opened the box, 3 toppings were missing. 1. Missing truffle oil 2. Missing garlic aioli 3. Missing parmesan 4. Very light quantity of mushroom The cook was visibly upset when I asked if they had forgotten to put the truffle oil on my pizza. She was also upset that I asked for the missing garlic aioli. Her explanation was that because I ordered the vegan cheese, she assumed I wouldn't be able to have anything that was dairy. They could have called me and double checked instead of assuming. They don't care. Traditionally aioli is not made with dairy. It is just eggs and oil. She tossed the pizza box down on the table, visibly irritated to correct the mistake, huffin and puffin and tossed it back up to the server. How dare I even ask. Glaring at me as I left the store. For $35, I felt like I was taken advantage of and was treated like garbage. The pizza tasted even worse with the way I was treated. For their lack of attention to detail, sloppy quality control, zero customer service, callous and disinterested attitude, almost non-existent mushrooms (why so ungenerous?) my girlfriend and i love mellow mushroom we go there about once a month and every time it's been amazing it's just this last time we went it was terrible. our server, braylan, was terrible. he only came to check on us 4 total times and never brought us our drinks we had to get a server to get us our drinks. it also took over an hour for our food to come out when other guests arrived 45 minutes after us and they were getting their food before us and we didn't even order anything super complicated just 2 pizzas and a salad. read more

Our server, Cullan, was friendly and accommodating but a teensy bit slow in service. It was a busy lunch crowd, with only an hour for lunch, we tried to be patient. He was happy to snap our photos so gotta give him props for that! We ordered 2 large pizzas, the Great White and the Pacific Rim. I tasted a sliver of the Great White and it was ok. I was impressed with the variety of ingredients and combinations of pizza they offer! I think their pizzas are pricey, $25.99 for the large, but this is a trendy spot so people pay. We got a 10% discount for checking in so that helped! Happy face! I ordered the 'lil Caesar salad with added grilled chicken and avocado. It was delicious. The chicken was tender and the avocado was fresh and plentiful. I don't think I could've eaten the regular size so portion-wise, thumbs up! They also have burgers, subs and apps on the menu!
