    Homemade lasagna with garlic bread

I only read the reviews on GrubHub ahead of placing my delivery order, which was obviously an amateur move on my part. This place is simply not that great. Granted, I come from the land of Philly hoagies and classic Italian eateries galore, so perhaps my expectations were set too high. THE GOOD: Delivery was fast, pleasant, and accurate. They called ahead of time to ask if I wanted my Italian sub hot or cold. I was a little confused by the question because I only ever eat 'em cold, but I guess hot could be a thing too. My lasagna dish was pretty good as well. It's listed as homemade on their menu, and it's a fair portion for the price. The lasagna comes with a side salad and garlic bread also. The garlic spread was nice; the bread average. THE MEH: Club sandwich. It wasn't *bad*, but it also couldn't stand up to any of the other club sandwiches I've had from establishments in RVA. And for some reason, I've had several club sandwiches recently. THE PASS: Yep, the Italian sub falls here. I can't think of one positive thing to say about it. The meat randomly jutted out from the bread. The bread wasn't strong enough to effectively hold it. The meat itself was bland. The cheese was even bland. All around: It was a sad sight and no amount of doctoring it on my end made it at all savory. I didn't try the pizza, but I don't think I could be convinced to give them a second shot based on their sandwich quality. If I had to order from them again, I'd definitely purchase a pasta dish.

I am always super excited to find a pizza place that serves slices, and has new york style! What a pleasant surprise. Their pizza was very good, and I enjoyed every bite. The crust was just right. And thats very important to me. Service was great, I walked in at lunch time, no lines and it has the typical glass case with some pizzas already made. The plain cheese was all I needed and it satisfied my craving perfectly. This location is tucked away on pump rd in short pump in a strip of store... I never knew it was there but was so glad it was! I will be back for sure.

Pizza is always great, Italian sandwiches are terrible...check the expiry date before serving.

It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

When we first walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to grab a couple spots at the bar and figured we'd settle in for a good night. That's where things went sideways. The bartender appeared to be the only one working, and while I understand being busy, the attitude and behavior were honestly shocking. Every interaction felt aggressive. Remotes getting slammed around. Napkins and pens tossed onto the counter. Water being splashed onto the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum. The entire atmosphere at the bar felt tense and uncomfortable. It got to the point where we almost felt awkward ordering anything because every request seemed like it was ruining their night. At one point another couple sat down next to us and almost immediately started looking around like, "is this really happening right now?" I actually ended up warning them that no, they weren't imagining it, and that it had been our experience the entire time too. That alone should tell you how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Which is unfortunate because the kitchen actually did their part. The food was good. Really good. But good food only carries a place so far when the service makes you want to leave before the meal even arrives. I've worked in and around hospitality long enough to understand busy nights happen. But there's a huge difference between being overwhelmed and taking it out on customers. Tazza Kitchen has the food figured out. Now they just need the front of house experience to match it.

Nonetheless I ordered some boneless sweet chili wings with blue cheese ( which were good) and tried a zero proof cocktail, berry mule. 1/10 for the drink. It resembled the taste of cough syrup. During our meal, the manager was kind enough to give free tix to puttery (nothing was mentioned about the food or drink). Afterwards we headed down to the first floor to play. There doesn't appear to be any real concrete theme which makes going to each hole exciting as you don't know what to expect. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and walked my friend and I through how to play. We ended up also eating upstairs and the food offerings were really yummy. We shared the soft pretzels as a starter which came with a delicious mustard sauce. I ended up getting their chicken sandwich as my main, I found the sandwich itself to be fried a bit too hard so I can't reccomend that but their fries appeared to be hand cut and those were absolutely delicious. Overall this place is a great spot for families, friends or I could even see this being a fun date spot. Its really a one stop shop with their restaurant and activities being in the same place. Highly recommend!

My wife and I decided to stop in for brunch because we frequent this establishment when we're home so why not grab something when we're away from home?. We walked in and were greeted and seated immediately. That was a great entrance experience. But after that we don't know what went wrong!. The restaurant was not busy at all when compared to the location by our home, this location is larger in square footage and there was a lot of empty tables and plenty of employees present so I'm not sure why the service was so slow!. Once we were seated it we sat there about 10 minutes before someone actually came to our table. My wife and I ordered coffee to begin with, we probably should've ordered our food too because it took another 10 minutes to come back and take our food order, and like I stated earlier in the review the restaurant was not busy at all.. Once we ordered and the food came out my potatoes were burnt and undercooked, so we asked the waiter to bring us some more. Wouldn't you know it, the next order came out burnt too, almost identical to the first order of potatoes. Do my question is why would he bring that second order out to us? I would return because maybe they were having issues somewhere today.
