i haven't eaten at an Arby's in years, so last night in Carson City, ravenous and in need of a quick meal, I decided to run in. I remembered a sandwich that was chock full of meat, tender and juicy. Well, I had to wait. And wait. And wait. For what turned out to be not a pleasurable experience. I was the ONLY person in the restaurant and despite at least 6 employees roaming around in the back, it took a good three or four minutes before I finally yelled, "A little service here?!" The guy at the french fry station, who had been dreamily oversalting the 37 stale fries in a pan, looked up and said, "Oh." Another 7 minutes went by before my meal actually arrived. I had a chance to stare at the dying two plants next to the soda station and send them some mental sympathy. Yes, 7 minutes. I timed it. Fast? Not so much. Food? Not so much. The sandwich was dry and tasteless except for its saltiness. SOOOO disappointed. As you exit the restaurant (and I use the term restaurant loosely because that would connote food and service), there is a bell with a sign that exhorts you to ring it if you've had great service. This place is a JOKE. I am convinced that the people who work inside cannot communicate across the line to produce "fast food". I only go here when my boyfriend asks me to grab him something. The three times that I went the staff were rude, not knowledgeable of their menu, and unable to complete the order without remaking something by the time I get home everything is cold to Luke warm. My boyfriend ordered a Rueben and wanted extra sauce on the side, they said they didn't have 1,000 island dressing when they advertisement clearly shows a Rueben with dressing on it...what? When I asked why they don't put 1,000 island in a Rueben, they got confused and said they did, then why can't he get a cup of sauce on the side? Oh... Drinks are always wrong size or flavor, have to get dumped and refilled. Also had a time where they gave our order to the car in front of us, then they had to remake everything and still made it wrong after taking our order at the window. read more

Don't waste your time, seriously. I am completely astounded at he poor quality and behavior of the people who work here. First off, I ordered and their shake machine was down. Fine. Whatever, I'll move on. When I get to the window not a single soul approached it, but they were happily bantering amongst one another while I just sat there. Mind you, I'm on my work lunch, so I'm kind of in a hurry. Unfortunately, they don't care. 5 minutes in and I finally talk to someone. Ask who to complain to, and she doesn't know. Wow. Hubby's food was good he got the standards beef n' cheddar and Curley fries. I got the new Philly. Did not enjoy this sandwich wishing I had stuck with my regular beef n'cheddar. The meat did not have a lot of flavor and the cheese on it was slimy and runny which made the bread all soggy. Ended up only eating half and tossing the rest. Lived in the Carson area for almost 5 years and been to this Arby's 7 times. Arby's has always had the freshest food, at a bit higher price for fast food. This Arby's is very poor with dry buns, over cooked meat and the dirtiest restaurant I've even been in. The only Arby's in the Cason area that I know of, but do not intend on my return. read more

The updated restaurant(new owners) is really stunning on the inside. It's had a complete renovation. The manger walked around, greeting everyone and making sure everything was excellent. I've tried, I've really tried. I've liked Arby's thin-sliced beef sandwiches for years. For fast-food, it's OK. However, the owner of this restaurant must suffer some serious mental disorders. First, you have to ask for napkins one at a time. Ever tried eating a large sliced beef with that tasty Arby's sauce plus some Horsey sauce? That stuff drips and runs everywhere, but it's a central part of the good taste. Apparently, the owner thinks that his profit is primarily dependent upon handing out napkins on a strict "need-to-wipe" basis. Whenever I ask for more napkins, the help's eyes dart around trying to see if they're being watched, out of fear of being fired for handing out, gasp, TWO napkins at a time. Meanwhile, the catsup cups have gotten smaller and smaller. Thus, you're left to get up four or five times to refill one, or just go ahead and fill five or six, and juggle them in your hands when you return to your table. See the trend in the owner's thinking? So, what sort of other penny-saving laws has he put in place? No hand soap in the employee washroom? Only one square of toilet paper for each employee's #2 visit? Use all of the meat, even if it's gone past it "use by" date? Mostly, the employees are victims as well as the customers. However, some of his help have really gotten into the spirit of abusing their customers. I've never know a business to succeed with any of this going on. read more

What a phenomenal beef n cheddar experience! The change in ownership was the greatest thing to happen to this location, newly remodeled and clean! Friendly employees and fast! Arby's was terribly slow before but even with a packed house our food came quick! I will again be a regular here and can't wait to try some of the new menu! GREAT JOB read more

Arbys is under new ownership now. As of June 15th this year the old owner has left. Hopefully the service gets better. I know the owners and I've heard how much they are going to be changing the restaurant and be more involved in speeding things up and having improvements in all areas. If y'all have a complaint bring it to management is working hard to fix all of it. read more

So I finally found a way to get my wife the vegetarian to come to Arby's. The steak fajita flatbread sandwich with avocado sauce was so amazing, I ordered it without steak for her and she loved it. That was last week, and now we are at Arby's. She thought she would burst into flames for setting foot inside, but she didn't. I ordered the steak, and she ordered it without meat, and the staff was very accommodating. Both flatbreads were perfect. I am disappointed that this item is limited time only. Well done Arby's, and good job to the staff. read more

I've been in this Arby's about 20 times and each time I was extremely tired & absolutely exhausted from working long hours (not to mention the 40 minute drive in horrible traffic). I really love their food and they have always been very prompt, professional, and helpful. I want to give a very special 'Thank You' to Sarah for her exceptional customer service. The new owners have done such a great job at fixing this place up! Remodeled, fabulous staff and they changed to Coke products which, I prefer! They even bring your food to you if you dine in! Best service and bacon you can get from a fast food restaurant! Awesome specials too! read more

Came here the week before last and ordered the same Chicken Cordon Bleu. Apparently it depends on the day of the week and staff working. I did not receive the same friendly and efficient service that I did on my earlier visit and my sandwich tasted like it had been prepared earlier and sat under a heat lamp for an hour. Also, there was almost no mayo. If I don't want mayo, I will let you know, other than that, please put more than a drop especially if the sandwich is going to be dried out from sitting around. I just hope the people working there realize that when you have to commute and can't go home for lunch and just want something decent to eat for the 10 to 11 hours you will be away from home, you should expect to get a good, consistent hot meal for which you are paying. Also, if I am polite and friendly, a little customer service shouldn't be much to ask for. read more

BD loves his cheddar and beef with curly fries. I don't care for Arby's that much but I am nostalgic towards their fried jalapeño poppers with the sweet red dipping sauce. A few years ago I tried to order it and they said that they haven't had it on the menu in years. But I just went back and apparently it's back on the menu. Food is always fresh and my order is correct. The employees are quick and friendly at drive up. Go at least once a week from work. Only down is a bit hard to maneuver the drive in window from Curry St. And that is just logistics not reflection on staff or quality of product. read more

The sandwiches were great. The service sucked. The person that took our order had no personality. She didn't even know how to count change back to me. The containers were out of horsy sauce. I got the wrong sandwich on my order, It was good . The sandwich I got cost more than the one I ordered. The restaurant was filthy. The bathroom fixture on the sink didn't work. I had to ask for my soda cup. The Arby's on south Carson street needs a manager to get these workers in top shape. I think that is why you get only one star read more

I love Arbys food and so does my family, we have been going there for years. Over the past few months the costumer service and quality of food has been getting worse. Today was the final straw, it was by far the worse meal I have EVER had, I ordered a Garden Fresh Turkey Bacon Ranch Wrap. The wrap was half the size it normal is, the Tortilla was hard (dried out) the turkey was dry, looked looked like it was sitting out and they put horse radish instead of the ranch. It was bad. Crappy part is I have a short lunch break and don't have time to take it back. I doubt I will step foot in the Carson City Arbys again. The Shell couple block south of the Carson City Arbys makes really good, fresh sandwiches and wraps for a great price. read more

I'm updating my review because since my last review, I have been back to Arby's several times. Each time, my pups have received delicious beef treats that made them wild with doggie joy. I wish Arby's would get their sandwiches right though. It's a matter of ratio. I find it a bit strange that often the sandwiches have plenty of whatever meat that they come with, but not enough of the toppings. Once I asked for extra peppers on my Fire Roasted Philly Sandwich. It's named that for the red and yellow fire roasted peppers on it. I never saw peppers on mine so I finally asked for extra peppers, explaining that I never saw any but maybe one or two. I was assured that I would get extra. Guess what? I saw no peppers on my sandwich. Probably it's all cooked together though. Why not just tell me if that's the case. But why advertise the peppers? Same problem with the Reuben. Plenty of corned beef, no sauerkraut. If you don't want run of the mill fast food, you're looking for a drive thru, good variety, good onion rings, and especially if you have your dogs with you this would be a great place to treat yourself. read more

This is a terrible Arby's! I agree with others, it has gone down hill over the 20+ years that I have lived here. Seriously the food is not consistent and is thrown together in a mess, as if they were slammed (not). The hot food and been cold, not fresh, and the buns stale. The owner should not be working with the public; he even has the nerve to charge for extra sauce. I have been a customer of our local Arby's for a long time, even if the service was very slow (20-25 minute wait in the drive-thru with only 2 cars ahead of me kind of slow), but I knew to anticipate that. On a few occasions we would eat inside, but the atmosphere was tired, dirty and droll...the booths and the tables felt grimy...so we would drive-thru most of the time. I have to say that the employees were always friendly and courteous but seemed as tired as the décor, but things have certainly changed! The inside renovations are spot-on and spotless! (see what I did there? LOL) The food is always right, delicious, and served in a timely manner (HUGE change)! But I think the biggest change is the energetic, enthusiastic, and fun atmosphere that is created by the owners, managers, and SUPER staff! I immediately feel welcomed when I walk in. I mean seriously, the sandwich guy in the back sees me, smiles, says "Hi" and KNOWS what I am going to order down to the lite mayo! I like that! So, if you haven't tried Arby's in a while, give it another shot, you won't be disappointed. Lately it seems that the very real art of customer service has been lost....well, look no further because you can find it here! And don't forget to ring the bell on the way out! read more

Under new ownership. Came in and tables were clean and floors were swept. It is way better under new ownership. The cashiers name was justin and he was very polite and respectful. He knew about the food and was helpful. Big improvment from before. They are remodeling everything soon. Try it out. read more

I love our Arby's, it has been remodeled and so clean. The workers are so helpful and polite. What I don't like about the remodel is the bathrooms. There are two and they can either be used by men and women. The men that use one or the other never put the seat down, and I don't want to touch it. I would like to see them go back to strictly one for men and the other for woman. Thank you and your food is the best. read more

I have been going to this particular Arby's for decades and for the last couple of years it has been really gross. 2 different times I have found a thick black hair in my sandwich and often I see the money handler handling the food back and forth...No one wears any hair cover at all. Today I gave it one more shot, it's the closest sandwich to work and home, I saw a woman standing at the cash register and picked a scab off of her arm then licked her fingers and rubbed her arm and then went on to serve food. I have been coming less and less for fear I will get sick. The service is always friendly but their food handling is not good. Also the drive through takes forever. Someone needs to get the health department over there for an inspection. read more

I always get the Super Roast Beef sandwich, even though it's not on the menu for some reason. I have no complaints about the food we got and the counter service was pretty good. My complaint is about the bathroom. It only has 1 stall and the t.p. holders (2) only had one roll with about 1 more use left on it. More shockingly was the hand soap dispenser...completely empty. Isn't this the bathroom the employees use? Don't they at least check it? Makes me think twice about eating there again. read more

Dropped by for a quick meal and was so disappointed by the rude service by one of the workers! She did not ask of she could help us. She just stood there! I then gave her my order which came to $14.82. I gave her $20.02 and it confused her, so she gave me the 2 cents back! I had to ask for our drink cups. Our order sat for 5 minutes before another worker picked it up and called my name. The sauce dispensers were out of Horsey sauce and the area was filthy! The soda dispenser was in poor repair and could not dispense the drink I wanted. My husband received a beef sandwich instead of a turkey sandwich but we did not say anything, as we were in a hurry! I went to the restroom before We left and the faucets on both sinks were broken and the hand sanitizer dispenser was empty! Hope the female workers have a sink and soap to wash their hands! Food was good though and the other two workers were trying to help the customers. I did notice that three other people were complaining that their orders were wrong. Just saying!!!! Hope the place gets new management soon! We love Arby's but doubt we will visit for awhile! read more

This Arby's customer service sucks. Ordered the new bourbon brisket sandwich, girl got the order wrong and had to wait for correct order, she tried to shortchange me $2 because she cant count. Did not get a reciept and when we asked for one she couldnt figure out how to reprint it. We will not be returning to this resaurant unless there is a change in personal. read more
