Yes, the prices are great and orders are completed quickly, but is the quality and quantity still there? We ordered two meals and an extra side of cheese fries. I chose the 1/4 lb. Cheeseburger meal with Onion Rings and Cole Slaw. The burger patty was good, and chargrilled which gave it some good flavor. But the patty was quite tiny. As for the sides, loved the only rings but I only got four. Is that truly a side? Second combo was two hot dogs with nuggets and Cajun fries. The Cajun fries were seasoned well and good me the dogs were fine. The highlight for me was my peanut butter shake. OMG, so good. So, from what I was told they definitely skimped on the meals, as there used to be a lot more. Not a huge deal for me, but I would probably just stick with a shake next time, and get my food elsewhere.

Kudos to the chef. Only negative is they offer a whipped spread instead of real butter. Delicious pancakes deserve good butter. I asked for real butter and all they had was honey butter. Do not sleep on asking for it. While it still spread, the honey makes it much better.

By the…read moretime we got settled in, dining options were pretty limited, so we searched online and this spot looked like the best choice -- and we're glad we found it. When we pulled up, there was a police outside, which didn't bother us. If anything, it made things feel more secure. They also use a metal detector when you walk in before being seated. Don't let that scare you off though -- this place is a well-oiled machine and everything felt organized and under control. Our server was fantastic: calm, attentive, and never pushy. I ordered the country fried steak with collards and mashed potatoes with gravy, and my husband got a burger. My meal was excellent, and it came with a perfectly flaky biscuit. The tea was Southern SWEET tea, too. My husband said his burger was good for a diner, fresh vegetables and the fries were seasoned well. The diner itself is adorable, full of character and charm. I only needed to make a $1 purchase (most of the deals now have a $5min) so I got a Jr frosty and the spicy nuggets with scorchin hot sauce. The owner was also incredibly sweet and took the time to talk with us about how the team went to Philly and did so much research before opening this place. Mouthwatering, packed with flavor, and absolutely worth any wait. I honestly wish they'd open one in Raleigh because we'd be there every single week. This place is officially a staple for us, and I cannot rave about these cheesesteaks enough. Thank you for serving the community and honestly don't listen to any review that isn't 5 stars.
