I love Chick-Fil-A and I especially love that I can get from my garage to the drive through at this location in 3 minutes flat. Spoiled, is what I am. This location recently underwent some renovations and it is consistently clean and inviting. The double drive through saves time and the staff are always friendly. On busy days they stand outside to take your order and the line moves really fast. Recently, I started using the app to order which I'm not a huge fan of. The drive through moves fast enough to just do that instead of waiting for curb side delivery to the car. Big fan! read more

I am giving this place one star so that this article will go through but if I could, I would give it no stars. I had a customer service issue with my order and asked to speak with the Store Manager. I speak with the Assistant Manager named Kyle on duty and he tells me that the Store Operator which is who they call their Store Managers, told me that since I have had problems in the past, that she said for me not to come back to the store! I was very insulted by this turn of event s and asked for my money back which I received as a gift card which I used at another store location. I spoke with customer service about this issue and was told that since it was a franchise, there was really nothing that i could do so here is my review warning people about the terrible service or no service I should say that I received there from the main person that should be giving it. This location is busy. It can be a little confusing as well if you are making the left turn into the location coming from the main entrance you hav to pay attention to the signs. The staff are very friendly and prominently teens and it's an organized process to get your food. Like most Chick-fil-A's you could be in line for a while due to the popularity. However when you go to this location you may need to check your food just to be sure. Chick-fil-A typically gets it right but this is a little different. It's very hard for me to give this location anything more than two stars. In fact, I only give them three because they're the closest to home and I will be back. It's a fact that I will inevitably get that Chick-fil-A craving us Southerners know so well when we see the sign. And probably the quality at most subsequent visits will be good. My reason for not liking this location? The main one: I ordered a nugget tray a day ahead for pick up the next morning. I got the name of the person taking my order. He confirmed it and I came in to pick it up the next morning. Nothing. Didn't even have record that I had ordered. Instead of really giving a crap about me they just said "we don't have your order and it'll be at least 20 minutes to fill it". Highly disappointed but not wanting to slam the cashier who I was working with - it wasn't her fault after all - I had to go to get to work on time. But to be fair, her attitude was a bit dismissive and I was never offered to even speak with a manager. It felt like I was being told "sucks to be you". Other than the above, I've had at least once where chicken was fried too long and came out dry and dark. Otherwise, my experience here is par for the course when it comes to Chick-fil-As. I suppose if I went to any other location regularly I would be just as likely to end up having a bad experience. Unfortunately I can't "stick it to em" at this one by ending my business. This is my second time receiving cold food from this location. When I say cold the fries were ice cold and the chicken tenders were old. I made my order through the drive through to have to turn all the way back around after discovering how cold and old my food was. This is my favorite Chick-Fil-A spot in Charlotte. The food is always fresh, and the service is always speedy. I came by today because everyone was raving about the new macaroni and cheese that they have added to the menu. Being a Spicy Deluxe Advocate, I had to see the hype. I ordered the sandwich with Mac and cheese. I also got a small order of fries on the side because I wasn't sure if it would fill me up or not. The macaroni was mediocre at best. It definitely doesn't compare to the waffle fries, so I'll stick with those. It kind of had that velveeta type cheese all the way through, but it had the essence of baked macaroni as well. The flavor of baked macaroni was not there though. It definitely gets a 2.5/5 for me. My sandwich and fries were great per usual. Meeting a friend for lunch, we had a little miscommunication. He went to the wrong one, so I got to see two CFA's for lunch in one day. Like the other, this one was very busy at lunch time. I guess people are thinking that chicken is healthier than the other options in this shopping plaza? Large seating area, they have a couple of staff wandering around to improve things. The drink lady is a nice touch and she's super friendly. She even refilled the drink I'd brought from the other CFA, though that's probably not the usual deal. I am a huge Chick-Fil-A fan and and rarely find any significant fault with any; however, this Charlotte, NC Stonecrest location is the second best that I have ever visited (the best, hands down, is located at the Arboretum in Charlotte). Of course, their renowned customer service is rarely less than superb at any location, and this place is no exception. The menu of all Chick- Fil-As had been enhanced with healthy choices such as kale salad replacing such long time evil favorites such as their delicious yet sinful cole slaw. Otherwise, it is the best fast food around to go along with the uncommonly excellent service. My only complaint is the lack of recyclables used in the packaging. Although far from fanatical, it still still disturbs me to see how much waste (particularly Styrofoam) that gets chunked in the trash following every meal. Even in this area, they are progressing however. In spite of that, as far as a fast good category, I give this location gets five stars. read more

The majority of the Chic-fil-a's that I go to have their drive through process together and I am in and out quickly, but this one does as well. I am from a smaller town than Charlotte, so I was surprised when the line wrapped around the building. I stayed anyway and was not disappointed. I waited between 10 minutes from start to finish. The first time, I called back because I didn't check my bag before leaving and the manager rectified the issue - great! The second time, I didn't feel like waiting to get the correct order so I just left. Today, I didn't check the order since the guy who handed me the food recapped everything I got correctly, I assumed it was right so I left. Nope. Asked for 3 different sauces, only got one and it was a flavor that I didn't even ask for. Ordered a spicy chicken deluxe, got a grilled chicken sandwich (even though the box and receipt had the correct order). We (two people) also got grilled nuggets (needs a fork), Mac n cheese (needs a fork), and fruit (needs a fork) - we were given one fork so we had to share the fork. I used to go out of my way to patronize this location of CFA over the others that are closer to me but the salads are full of gross lettuce, the food has 3x the salt of the other CFAs, the workers are nasty and always seem a little sick, the management doesn't care about anything and they have the surliest attitude when you complain. This has to be the worse Chick-fil-A in Charlotte. I ordered the same thing I order on my app every time. I get to the window my order was wrong the gentleman at the window stated the wrong order then said oh I'm sorry I was reading the wrong thing. I repeated my order he said yes here you go. It was my fault for not checking at the window to make sure I got the correct thing. I get home and of course it's wrong and of course they were about to close. I spoke to the manager Caroline (the nastiest manager I've ever dealt with at a Chick-fil-A, maybe she was new or That location was low on help) she claimed she would put in a replacement order. I show up for my replacement order and she replaced my fry when my entire order was wrong. She stated she spoke with me that night and still proceeded to tell me she couldn't do anything about her mistake "well what do you want me to do you cant make changes to a replacement order" her words. I came to this location before work grabbed a large lemonade, large water, and large fry. I got to work which is literally 2 mins drive my fries are cold and are all the bottom of the bag fries. Which are all small some had salt some didn't. I called to let them know. They said they would replace them. I get back to the location just to wait in the long line again. And the guy decides to give me a medium. I already have a headache from not being able to eat earlier now you decide what to give me. I'm very dissatisfied. Yes, yes we all know Chick-Fil-A is a chain and thus all the food is supposed to be the same. However, what sets the other locations apart from this one would be the service. Everyone here has such a smile on their face while they take your order. They are so welcoming and even recognizes you if you're a regular (some days I order food for my parents and drop it off at their place and then come back later to get food for myself and the workers welcome me with a welcome back). Not only is service is good but cleanliness is also very important to me. This location is very sanitary and every table is spotless. I always return to this location even if I'm on the other side of town and there's another Chick-Fil-A closer to me. read more

This is a very busy Chick-fil-a location. The staff was very friendly... seemed really young for some reason. I think the boy taking my order was about 9 or 10 years old.... it was a little weird, but I think I'm just getting old. This location also lets your order and gives you a number to put on your table so they bring out the food when it's ready (instead of the usual wait for it to be ready and take it to your own table). Some of the staff even walks by and takes up people's trays so you don't have to throw away your own trash. Stonecrest is not my favorite parking area layout... some of the intersections are "close your eyes and go" intersections. In theory the traffic flow looks well planned, but doesn't work with a lot of volume. read more

Food is always up to the Chick-fil-A standard; no complaints there. I mostly use the drive through once or twice a week and they leave something out at least 25-30% of the time. I must say that I get 3 combo meals and an extra sandwich so I think the extra sandwich messes them up because it's a one-off. The way it prints on the ticket leads me to think there is a procedure flaw. It prints 3 CFA sandwich and then the next prints 1 CFA sandwich so the packer grabs the three and hands it off to the next person. I recommend you check your drive through order. If I go home and find something missing I'll go back about 1 out of 10 times.
