Breakfast includes REAL hash-browns, rather than those cubes of fried potatoes elsewhere. Tell your server what you want and how you wanted those eggs cooked. 29 breakfast a la carte items to choose from. Soups, salads and sandwiches. 13 sides to choose from. Entrees are wonderful. I had the Shrimp Scampi ($17.75) on my favorite pasta...linguini. A huge portion and I worked my way through it like a real man. And it was wonderful and so satisfying. Wife did the Creamy Cajun Pasta ($17.75) and I just had to taste it and...to my shocking surprise, my wife of 56 years did allow at least one, small bite. Eventually the cashier asked my name. After searching a while she found my order and confirmed it with me. She then, apparently, went and gave my order manually to the cooks. About 5 minutes later I walked up to the cashier and asked for a refund. This was 30 minutes after I originally placed the order. She insisted that my order was ready to go. Except it wasn't. They put some fries in the bag and started handing it around and telling me my order was "ready". I said I'd rather have the refund so they reluctantly credited my card (I think, I still have to verify that with the bank) and then she ran around telling cooks and the french fry person NOT to fill my order which was previously "ready." For our last several visits I have ignored the decline in food quality and taste. I have ignored the poor service and delays. But today was the final straw. No food, no service and lies is more than I can swallow for lunch. Note to the new owners of Rusty's, you might find it beneficial to hire employees who look, act and speak more like your customers. Since they don't speak English as their first language they have a hard time understanding orders and getting things right. Apparently they also fail to communicate with each other very well. We are done with Rusty's forever. It's clear that the new owners cleaned out the staff and replaced them with the cheapest imported labor they could. To those of you who are offended, I am not sorry.
