Team was responsive at the start of the transaction and then failed to follow up regarding the grinding of the stump of a tree they removed. Made excuses such as their machine was broken, weather, etc. Affordable, but not worth the 3+ month wait for the continued job. Will likely be doing a chargeback now that we cannot get ahold of anyone. Do not recommend, pay the higher fee and avoid the headache of chasing them if possible. read more

We give 6 stars for their service! We didn't know we had an active woodpecker nest in the tree they cut down when scheduling. At time of service, they relocated the nest to a different tree in the yard. Definitely will continue using them in the future! read more

They don't get a star. They left water bottles all over the property and never cleaned up. The second truck hit my gate. Not one effort in clean up! Heck they even left me a rake because it was never used. The salesman Eric keeped trying to change the price? I had his text with price that I had to show him. 12 minutes after he got the check the whole crew was packed to leave. I told my partners to never use at the apartments and my builder asked I said I don't recommend using on other jobs. I'm 100 blown away by lack of integrity. I would not send to my worst enemy. Completed half the work and then skipped out with my money without completing the job.

My dealings with this company (owner, specifically) were horrible. Had him out to help me determine what was wrong with an ailing post oak. He assured me he could resolve the issue immediately. Additionally, he walked the property, all the while, speaking about his accomplishments at other properties. Gave me a list of items to cut down and said he would fertilize 70 trees on the property and work on the post oak. His guys cut the trees and removed. I never saw the work being done and hoped it had been. Now the issues are, my post oak is still dying. His trucks left oil all over the cobble stone drive. He texted me that he would clean it and stood me up 3 times. Finally, I said i'd just do it myself and I hoped he did not do other clients this way. He tried to blame oil stains on gardeners truck that is here every week. I thought I had found a great company and they definitely proved otherwise. read more

Buyer Beware! Eric from Arbortech was soliciting business in my neighborhood, knocked on my door, then quoted a price to trim ALL of my trees. Eric talked very specifically about what his team would trim on each tree. Upon seeing the completed job, there was small debris left everywhere, and Arbortech didn't even trim ALL the trees Eric committed to trimming, nor did Eric's crew trim enough on the trees they did trim. I was so pleased with the work of this Arbor-Tech team! Makalya came out to provide the estimate and was very precise and thorough. The team was scheduled to come on the potential ice-day here in No Texas, she called to see if they could come early to avoid any ice-related issues. This pleased me immensely as there was a branch near a power line that could have caused problems if it fell. They trimmed and cleaned 8 large trees on my property for a reasonable price. The entire team was so efficient, you could tell they have worked together for a long time. There wasn't any standing around and they each got down to business. Did I mention they also brought the chipper so I don't have limbs/debris curb side for weeks. Once done, they used a blower, rakes and swept the tiny limbs. Highly recommend! read more

Arbor-Tech removed a large red oak tree that was dead from my front yard. They cabled and braced the tree so that no damage was done to my roof and then they mulched all of the debris and left the yard in great shape. This is a first-class company, and all of the workers are friendly and polite. I took multiple bids, and they were the most cost effective by several thousand dollars. We went in with our neighbors to take down a tree in our yard that causing a problem with their pool. We agreed on a price which included the stump removal. They didn't do it as Richard said their machine was too large to get in our yard. Didn't give us a refund for the unfinished job. I had to hire another company to come and remove it. I asked to have the owner come and discuss the problem but he has been a no show. Please take caution with this company and if you use them don't pay until you are happy with the job. They took the tree down quickly but caused damage to our fence in the process. read more

Richard was our contact; he called back and came by within the hour and walked thru the yard with me and gave my a price. Next day (yesterday) they came and got to work!!! Wow, what a transformation. So much brush, mistletoe and dead branches were cut out and put thru the chipper and hauled away. Thank you and your team for a job well done. It's hard work and watching the guys climb high into the trees to get every mistletoe out was and eye opener!!! This is normally a project my husband I try and tackle a tree or three at a time, then cutting limbs up and hauling it away in the trailer. During the contract I requested to the manager only cleaning damaged branches of two bald cypress in my front yard, I insisted that I want they work very carefully and not to raise up the canopy , only cleaning to improve their health and beauty. Unfortunately the day of the service the same manager of the team ordered to raise up the canopy, when i noticed what they were doing I tried to stop the damage but unfortunately it was late, the crew had cut too many branches. I am terrible sad for my beautiful trees, I regret to contract and pay to such irresponsable job. Other times I contracted them to trim my live oaks and it was ok. But this time they did wrong , they did not work as professional arborists, they were so rude with my bald cypresses. Please be careful. read more

Our next door neighbor used Arbor-Tech and on Saturday morning about 8 am a guy, Richard, knocked on my door and asked if I could open my gate to let them pull a few limbs up my driveway. I said yes wanting to be a good neighbor and went to go open the gate, and when I got there their crew had already opened the gate and made their way in a pack into my backyard before I even got out to open the gate. Then Richard tried to sell me on their business for the next few minutes before they even did any work next door. I told him we had recently had similar work done, which was true. The next thing I know we have a mass - not a few but 30-40 yards worth of multiple large branches - in our driveway for the next 4 hours. In addition, the one dead tree in the neighbor's back yard, a leaning 25' cedar tree halfway over our shared fence, they ignore. We ultimately had to talk to our neighbors about the cedar while Arbor-Tech was already in clean-up mode - we could see they had no intention of taking it down. When I mentioned it to Richard, he got frustrated with me for pointing it out. The work they did looked fine but they missed a big dead tree and put our cars out of commission for 4-5 hours on a Saturday without asking our permission. Weird... read more

They were hired to do a very large project at our home. I was impressed with their promptness and the quality of their work. However I was extremely disappointed at their unprofessionalism when it came time to discussing the final invoice. I had to beg them to come back to discuss the pricing as it was three times higher than expected. They finally agreed to take $1000 off the invoice but never refunded me the thousand dollars. I paid them over $10,000 and they did not finish the work. The quote says "remove existing brush", but the owner told me on the jobsite that he can pick up pieces left over from tree removal, but not clear the brush. I had plans early in the evening that they were scheduled to finish so I dropped a check off to Richard before they were done. I would not recommend working with a company that gives you a written proposal and then does not honor what is written on the proposal. read more

Initial service was great along with some education however didn't clean up and trim cypress trees as told. Tried to have them back for a follow up due to concern of trees losing leaves. Made appt. then was told that day they couldn't come because they were working on a huge client. 3 days ago made confirmed appt. for 11am. Texted them same morning asking for another 30 min to hour and didn't hear back until later when i texted asking where they were. Received a phone call stating they were in Frisco and wouldn't make it. They would text me the next day and tell me when they would come. Never texted, never called, never showed up. Today I texted that they would not be coming here anymore and they lied stating they had tried to come over 4 times. I have told them both times I cannot do 8am, i have been recuperating from two surgeries this summer and need later times. They don't seemed concerned for following up on the small home owner. If they truly cared, I would have received an apology and made sure someone came over asap and took care of their customer. 3 chances is way too many and you have messed up my schedule twice.
