I was raking the leaves in my yard this week and Hector stopped by to offer a free estimate to trim and clean up the tree canopy. Bulk trash pick up is next week and it was something I wanted to do for our huge oak tree this spring anyways. Cardinal Tree service did a great job for us here in Plano. After the Pay 2024 storm that knocked down one our trees they promptly came and roomed the tree and removed the stump. In addition they trimmed a large live oak in my front yard that had been damaged in the storm and did an excellent job of balancing the shape and height of the tree. Scheduled a visit to remove a troublesome 25 year old Pecan tree in the side yard. This tree was over 30 feet tall and was a threat to our garage roof and my neighbor's A/C condenser. Long story short, in less than one hour the tree was gone, the stump ground, and all limbs had gone through the shredder. The excess stump chips were collected and put in the truck with the all other debris. Quick and complete. The tree is now a memory. read more

We had some issues with saplings taking root and threatening our foundation. We tried digging them up ourselves, using plant killer, burning them, you name it. Didn't work. Cardinal Tree Services are awesome. Had a 38 year old Arizona Ash that didn't make the 2021 super freeze. These guys came in at a very reasonable price and have the heavy duty equipment to make pretty quick work of the massive tree. They came in at 9am and were done by 4pm. The removed the whole tree, grinded the stump down and mulched the stump area. They did an excellent job and highly recommend them!!!! Hector the owner was very professional, polite and reasonable. I had bids from 4 other tree services and Hector came in at the best price and I am very happy with the choice. Had a tree that was badly damage from a recent storm so it had to come down. I literally called 12 different tree removal companies and cardinal was one of four that actually answered the phone. I really don't get how people expect to get business if they don't answer their phone? Cardinal wasn't the first company to show up but they were the first company to show up prepared to Complete the job right then and there for a reasonable price. They weren't the most expensive and they were the cheapest however they were friendly and did a neat job honestly the only reason I didn't give them five stars is for the fact that they only took cash or check which in this day and age is like telling someone to send you a message on your "beeper or let me borrow that VHS tape" I literally had to look for 20 minutes to find a checkbook that I haven't used in over three years! I must digress if You have tree to be taken down I would definitely recommend them as they will actually answer the phone and show up ready to work. read more

Happened to be doing some yardwork as Hector was driving by. He asked about trimming our large oak tree. He looked it over, instantly provided a quote, and was up in the tree within ten minutes of agreeing to the work. Very happy with the work he did. read more

I had 3 large trees and a Youpon Holly that were in need of some serious trimming and support. I called 3 different tree companies for their free estimates. Hector was the last company that came out to inspect my trees and assess what needed to be done. While Hector's brother is the certified arborist in the company, Hector recommended exactly what 2 another certified arborists had told me needed to be done. Hector was also the only representative that came out in a company shirt and cap. He was very professional and his price was very competitive. When I accepted his offer, he gave me a firm handshake which is important to me being old school and all. Hector and his crew came out the very next day and had the job completed in about 4 1/2 hours including a thorough cleanup. All trimmings were ground up in their big mulcher. They raked the yard, used a blower to clear away all the sawdust and debris and left our place cleaner than before. They were very respectful of our property and didn't cause a bit of damage despite dropping some serious sized limbs. I can't say enough about these folks. I am extremely pleased with how our trees came out and highly recommend Cardinal Tree Experts to anyone needing tree care of any kind. These guys are true pros. read more
