I had lived with new marble top installed by previous homeowner in my kitchen since I moved in 8 years ago. But.. the pattern was very busy, never had a nice sheen, and when I placed a clear drinking glass on it, you easily missed it? (You can't miss it in one of the pictures below.) First visit was to their Batavia facility to take home samples and discuss approximate costs with a very knowledgeable and personable staff. Second visit was to my home to measure. Third was at their site with templates of my layout on the actual slab so I could see the grain and seam alignment as it would appear in finished countertop. This was fantastic because as much as I loved the pattern I had selected, I did not like the way it would appear completed. With NO pressure at all, I was encouraged to choose from similar patterns on their many other slabs of quartz so I could get the look I wanted. Templates were placed on another choice and the veins looked like they would match close at the seam. Three professionals arrived promptly at 8am and departed at 11am (perfectly as promised) and the finished job was more than I ever imagined. I had to really search for the seam but could only feel it as it is perfect... can you find it in the picture? (HINT: blue post-its align on seam in second image.)

We did a full gut kitchen remodel and one of the goals was to maximize our cabinet space. Our designer at Brakur (Andi) was extremely helpful throughout the entire project. She provided very creative ideas to maximize cabinet space while incorporating a variety of features such as a built-in cabinet door spice rack, knife drawer, etc. Andi was also very patient as we revised the cabinet layout a few times. The quality and craftsmanship of their cabinets is unmatched. Options such as soft close drawers and doors are standard with Brakur whereas these are considered 'upgrades' with other cabinet vendors. Their customer service was very helpful and responsive as two cabinets were damaged during the remodel by other contractors and Brakur promptly repaired and replaced the damaged cabinets at no additional cost. This is our second project with Brakur as we finished our basement 5 years ago and they provided all of the cabinets for that project as well. Since working with them 5+ years ago we have not had any issues, concerns or regrets and would highly recommend them for any new construction or remodeling cabinet needs.

They made cabinet off of first visit rough numbers written on a ripped piece of scratch paper. Did business in the past was explicitly explained that they come to the house to measure to an 1/8 of an inch for EVERY JOB that is what custom is. Even though they admit these egregious mistakes they will not remake cabinet for master bath... they will put waste of space fillers in or we can buy a new cabinet. Could have did this for 1/3 of the price from a regular home improvement store. STAY AWAY... they cut corners and you pay the big price!

Duane came to church and did the measuring and layout. The bar top was installed a week later and was beautiful. Duane came back the next day to make sure everything was perfect. We have gotten all positive comments from our parishioners on the professional install and the beauty of the quartz we picked. My wife and I had a great experience with DeSitter Flooring from start to finish. Everyone we…read moreworked with was responsive, easy to communicate with, and very easy to get in touch with, even on weekends. When we were trying to make our carpet selection, Paul was able to send samples out quickly and made the whole process very straightforward. They were also incredibly flexible with scheduling. We had other work being completed in the house that kept running longer than expected, which forced us to push our carpet installation back several times. DeSitter was understanding and worked with us each time without making the situation difficult. The installation itself was excellent. Alfredo and his crew replaced all of the existing tack strip and were extremely careful around our newly installed and freshly painted baseboards and newly painted walls. We were especially concerned about damage since so much other work had just been completed, but the crew treated the house with a lot of care. The installers also stayed late on a weekday to make sure they remained on schedule and could completely finish the job the following day. Which was great because it was new carpeting throughout the entire house. That extra effort was very much appreciated. Overall, DeSitter was professional, accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We are very happy with both the finished product and the experience and would definitely recommend them.

They even stayed open after closing hours to accommodate our schedule. Other extras:. Jenny actually visited during construction to ensure all was going well.
