The pump on my in ground spa broke and i called a big name company to come and fix it for me today. I called them two weeks ago and they were supposed to call me this morning and come take a look at my spa. I got a call at 7:30 in the morning and I was asleep. When I called back at 8 the technician said that he was already in avondale and could not come back. I had filled up my spa again and with the heat it gets dirty really quickly and I did not want to have to empty it. I called around and no one could come today. Then I got in touch with Brandon from Aqua shine. Within two hours they were at my house checking out my spa. they did a through check and we are now on the way to finally fixing my spa. Called numerous pool services after moving to a place with our first pool to maintain. Most didn't get back or only covered very narrow areas. Brandon at Aqua Shine was responsive and has been since their first visit. Although we have had a few dropped balls on scheduling (twice they were supposed to come on a day or time and didn't), and had to have one bit of maintenance work re-done due to misunderstanding of what they were going to do, they have been consistently honest about and taken responsibility (at no cost to us) about mistakes, and have gotten someone here quickly each time. Our tech, Jeremy, has been very honest and helpful. He has steered us away from a few unneeded services and patiently explained how to do a lot of things ourselves. Aqua Shine has been a real pleasure to work with. My company did a rehab project on a property that had a pool, and Aqua Shine helped us do some modifications to it and have kept it clean and sparkling during the rehab project. Aqua Shine's staff was really friendly and willing to provide all available options to us in order to allow us the ability to choose what made the most sense for our project. I was most impressed with their ability to get our pool back in order quickly after the nasty dust storms that blew through. My pool pump recently stopped working and I didn't want my pool to turn green with this weather. So I called there office and they got me on the schedule immediately. Brandon came out and quoted me on a variable speed pump and explained all the advantages to me. After more research there pricing was very fair and he was very polite and honest. He came back and at a speedy time and got the pump installed and taught me how to use it and took his time explaining it to me. Aquas shine is the worst pool service I ever had. The service technician is horrible and untimely. They schedule service but then never show up and also over-chlorinate the pool. I've worked in the pool industry before I retired, they don't know this so I let them try and lie to me and it is absolutely unbearable to sit and listen to these guys lie to me. read more
