I showed the guy my inspo pics and asked if it was going to be okay, and he mockingly said, "they're your nails" I thought he was joking and being funny but throughout the service I kept feeling burning and pain from the drill, I have a high pain tolerance but it was getting excessive. He would dig the drill bit into my cuticles and I have several cuts. He'd do it and then look up and ask, "you okay?" And then do it again! I think he over filed my natural nail so all of the heat reaction of the products was burning really bad, i mentioned it was really burning my thumb and he laughed at me. He was overall just really aggressive with my hands, I was trying to keep them relaxed but no matter what he just seemed really annoyed by me. The final result of my nails is not what I asked for but I didn't want to be rude and just told him they look awesome, he then mockingly repeated "awesome" at me and walked away. My friends nails who were done right next to me turned out great, the guy was gentle with her hands, she doesn't have any cuts, her nails look good, bottoms filed and clean. Even my friend noticed how the guy was behaving towards me and instantly started talking about it once we walked out. Overall I'm really sad with my experience, I was hoping this salon would become my regular but if this is how they treat their customers I'm not interested. I don't know if this behavior was because of the color of my hair or he was having a bad day but I don't think it was fair to treat me that way when I'm spending $160.00 on my service, I still tipped $20.00 but I will not be coming back and will not recommend. I attached pictures, the collage was my inspo pic I showed him.

From the start, she was sweet and easy to like, though I'll admit I used to inspect my nails closely after each visit, looking for imperfections. A year later, my nails are healthier than ever, and those worries are long gone. I don't even stress about choosing a color anymore. Amy knows me well enough to guide me or pick something perfect when I can't decide. I've truly had the best manicures of my life this past year, all from this little shop. Amy is clearly loved and valued in the community. Many of her clients are locals, and even their husbands sometimes stop in for a pedicure! While a bit of patience is occasionally required since she's the sole manicurist, she is absolutely worth the wait. You won't be disappointed. She is extremely creative, highly skilled, and genuinely cares about her work. Whether you're a local or just passing through, give Amy a try, you'll be glad you did. She's terrific!
