First nd foremost this is my fifth attempt at getting the manager to respond to me not sure if he hired cowards that do not tell him when there are issues of if he is the coward but it's old! Last week my father was texted about an upcoming service WE WERE TOLD IN THE WINTER THAT WAS THE LAST ONE. It was a representative of your company who told two people in the home at separate times that this was their last visit. Seems to me in customer service whose fault that is. When my father called back about the text he was forced to speak with Kelly, I believe was her name. she was argumentative and he was at work so he had to end the call after she completely pissed him off! When he came home he was very angry over it and I called and left a very to the point message eager to speak with this unprofessional troll. If you want to speak to customers with rudeness etc fine then by so so once they are rude to you my father was not and I was not! The service we received from the beginning was so terrible! The first time the man came he knocked on the door told him to go ahead went inside for no more than five minutes to put on shoes and comb my hair and came outside and he was done and guess what our yard to be done entirely couldn t have been done, but off he went deciding he wouldn't do the entire backyard. All visits followed this time table and laziness level including t he one tha r was told we had any hills in the lawn and spiders and fleas, your employees are lazyyyyyy! Friday Kelly returned the call and became argumentative again but I did not back down to her and asked for an explanation why the manager has never returned a call when requested and why we cannot get the job done properly and why this office lies so much. Her response your not Mr Shomper so I cannot talk to you. Here is a perfect example of what a liar these employees are they knocked Friday i put on my glasses and ran upstairs he was spraying by the mailbox and I told him to leave he had not even begin except that one small spot. He told me he did no understand but he would leavve. I went inside he proceeded to fill out the card of services rendered and hang it on the door then call m fathers number and tell him the work had been completed in its entirety. I am satisfied with APTIVE service. I called the office and they are very friendly and cordial. They made my appointment for someone to do the problems Im having on my yard and in front of my garage. I have lots of ants on my yard, bugs that eats my plants and also spiders around the garage door. They made my appointment and advised me that on the day of my appointment the technician will call me 30 minutes before my appointment. Rancy was my technician, he called and let me know he is on his way. and when he arrived he asked me what's the problem Im having. So I let him know and he went around the house and inspected everything and did his work. Rancy spray treatment my yard for ants, he also sprayed around the house, also all the crack and crevice. He also de Webb around my garage door and sprayed treatment all the plants. I am very pleased with his work and he listened in detail on what my concerns were. Don't trust what the sales man tells you. I have been using Aptive for a couple of months, the server is not too bad, but most of the standout points sales man told me are not true at all. I was told they will spray my yard border, not just the line of the house itself, they don't do it. I was told the tech will stay at least 40 minutes to make sure they covered everything, the fact is they only stay 10 minutes and 5 minutes was used to make the bill. I was told they will use a powerful spray that connected to their service truck so it covers more area, that fact is they're using a very small back-spray just like other companies. I was told I will get notifications and reminder emails/texts before the service, the fact is the tech just came to my home without any notification and I don't even know the server date until the tech is here. There are a few other minor things that are not meet what the sales man told me, they don't provide the same quality of service as what I was told, consider the price, this is over priced, I would only pay half if I know their service quality. read more

After meeting one of the sales reps. and going over what they cover I asked for the service on a ipad. I asked that the tech do the treatment, but I wanted to know if there were any pests at all. After the tech went to my property they did their service and removed some spider webs. In the note from the tech there was nothing specific indicated to be a pest on my property. A month later they want to go back to my property and do the same thing. I ask a Jennifer Gerber to stop the general service becasue I was not informed of any pest on my property(why get an exterminator for nothing???) Jennifer informed me that if I cancelled the service I would be charged $199 and is now threatening to send it to collections if i do not pay. Point blank this company gets you by saying they will inspect for and treat your property for pest ( I am sure they do a good job at this and would remove any pest). But when there are no pests to confirm they want to keep charging you to treat your property when there is no need to proceed. read more

I have been fighting off pests since we moved into our house near parkland, and Aptive has made a huge difference. Instead of struggling with mice and ants and spiders (Ugh!), I just greet a friendly professional at the door four times a year. In fact, several times I've dragged one of them out to my deck, begging him to treat for the black wasps that nest in the railings and attack my children. Even when he doesn't see any signs, he believes me, and my family can now dine in peace on the deck. Just today, Jerome stood patiently at the door while I frantically tried to get ready to take my kids (who missed the bus) to school. I didn't even realize he was there, but he showed no signs of irritation or impatience. He had even parked his truck on the road and walked down our (rather long) driveway without knowing that I needed to get out pronto to keep the kids from being late. His thoughtfulness and diligence on this rainy day helped keep a hectic morning from becoming stressful. And the mice are gone. read more

Very good service from Gerald with Aptive. I asked him to be especially careful of one of my garden plants while working around the house. Gerald was businesslike, courteous, knowledgeable and a good listener. This is my first experience with any pest control business and I've been in my house for 28 years. Good service. He also gave me some silverfish traps to catch any strays still inside the house. Looking forward to using an ant-free kitchen! Thanks Gerald and Aptive. We got a second treatment from Al a couple of weeks later. Very helpful, treated areas where the ants come in, this time outside and inside. Great service, glad to finally be rid of the ants. So It's been a few months and just got a quarterly treatment. Polite and professional young man did the treatment. These people are the WORST! I agree with the previous reviewers - these guys will ring your doorbell, then bang on your doors and windows until you open up! Then despite telling them you don't want their service or that you have someone else for pest control, they will continue to either argue with you, harass you or hard-sell. I have told these people on at least 6 different occasions that I do not want their service and they are to not call on my door again; and yet the STILL come. I even went as far as to call my local Sheriff's Office to see what could be done to stop them. Check with your local law enforcement - all people soliciting should have a local permit. If they do not, you can report them and they can be fined. Even if they DO have a permit, you can still call the non-emergency number and report them for harassment. read more

Aptive seems to have a nationwide strategy to go aggressively door to door and bully people into signing up for their service. Our technician Ryan arrived today for our "post 30 day initial treatment" and he treated all our areas of concern. What I really appreciated was Ryan's positive attitude & helpfulness. I was originally only scheduled to have the exterior treated today but I asked him if he could treat the inside today as well, even though I had not called it in. He took the extra tasks on with a smile and did a thorough job treating all the areas of concern without rushing. I was very satisfied with his work as well as his knowledge about what insects we were seeing, like sprickets in the basement. He concluded the visit letting us know that if needed, they could come out again in between the quarterly treatments, we just needed to call. Nice to hear. read more

Starting with appearance, his attire was clean and pressed. His interaction with everyone in the house was pleasant; greeting all with a warm smile and an even warmer hello. His attention to detail exceeds one's expectations. He simply demonstrates the highest level of professional. In short, it was truly a pleasure to have him in my home. Great customer service! I called last night, a Sunday, to find out my projected time of service, and the phone was answered by a pleasant lady who gave me that information promptly. Marvin Johnson arrived squarely within the scheduled time on Monday and provided the requested service. Marvin is 100% professional yet friendly. I am 79 years old and sometimes have been wary with various service people. Not so with Marvin. HORRIBLE!!! Have been on the phone for over an hour, and it just keeps ringing. Called corporate office, and they cannot help me, as they do not have records of local customers. The lady from corporate said that if after two minutes, no one answered my call, she will get back to me. Guess what - that was 45 minutes ago, and I am still on hold. Pretty amazing that no one can tell me why their phones are not working. Sent them an email as well, and nothing in return. Tried Facebook chat, and they send me rabbit emojis. William was my technician today for our first service. He provided all the services that the door to door sales person said he would. He confirmed everything with me before starting and verified that was what I had signed up for. He was very thorough and treated all the areas of concern that I have (centipedes inside). He then spent a long time outside spraying our yard, treating the foundation and treating the second story windows, eaves, etc. I hope he is our regular technician as he was friendly, polite, informative etc. I hope the next treatment goes as well. thank you. read more

I have had experience with many Pest Control companies and have never experienced the phenomenal customer service that Aptive provided me today. They were right on time, did a thorough job wiping away all cob webs around the outside of the house, gave careful instructions for children and pets and were as friendly as can be. Plus, the company is committed to the public good (Nothing but Nets) - and it costs 1/3 less than one of the major companies I had been using. This was my initial service with Aptive, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am happy to say that the Technician - Luther Wilson, met and exceeded my expectations. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and very efficient. I was wondering if he would find all of the issues (wasp nests, spider webs, etc.) without me having to point them out, but he found them all with no prompting from me. I was using two other services - one for turf tick treatment, one for regular pest control. Aptive beat their combined price, and I had an initial treatment a couple of weeks ago. With all the rain and hot weather we've been having, I wasn't surprised we needed a retreatment -- this would happen with any pest control company. Aptive sent Mulbah Gayflor to do a retreatment. He was fast, friendly, professional, and thorough. He took care of ants, spiders, and ticks in the backyard, ticks in the front yard, and checked for wasps. read more

Allan Ash did a very thorough job treating my home on Friday (10/26). He was very professional and courteous. He even took the time to return after treating the house (cold weather) and let me know that he completed treating the house, and that I could close my garage doors. I'm very satisfied with most of the Aptive Environmental technicians that have come by. I've haven't had any problems with bugs or rodents since using them. My service rep, Luther, got here on time. Listened to what I wanted done and did as requested. He did the full yard and perimeter of house and came to do inside. He further saw there may be need for mouse traps in the garage and he set some for us and also put some bug stickers in the garage as well. This is my first service so I hope I see a reduction in house bugs. I also like the unlimited re-spray that the company offers. The sales rep Jo has also been great. Aptive has been to our house on four occasions, the initial call was for ants that are a problem every summer. This was the first time I've had a pest control company in our home but the door to door salesman for Aptive caught me at the right moment because of the ant issue. Honestly I haven't seen an ant, spider or cricket since the first visit.
