They provide exceptional service at a reasonable price. Before they do their treatments, they carefully consider factors such as if you have pets or children. After they do treatments they will also let you know exactly what you must do in terms of things like not let a dog outside for 30 minutes, etc. Staff is both friendly and professional. read more

As I don't do reviews often, this is a review that deserves my time and attention, as the true people don't get seen and praised enough. We requested service and were told 8-12 on Monday. Sadly, they didn't show up or call. My stepdad called to inquire and said they couldn't come because someone had an emergency. Being my stepdad, and the person he is he gave them another chance for today between 10-2. Damien was our representative from the company, and let me just say he made up more for the misfortune of a no-show the prior day. He did an amazing job with no shortcuts, listened with understanding and compassion, and treated our home as if it were his own. His words were kind, his worth ethic is off the chart, his educational knowledge blew me away. He gave us a reassuring explanation for every question. These types of people truly don't get enough praise for what they do, because my negative initial perspective just changed to a positive, all because of the one person who represents the company. I would highly recommend that you request Damien for your service. You are your family will be given the peace of mind you deserve and amazing customer service! I just moved into a row home in Baltimore city and immediately was dealing with ants, spiders, and other things with lots of legs. I did not hesitate to call Atlantic Pest Control. I found them on Yelp and they were very responsive to my call and fear of all things crawly. The technician who came out to do the work, Phil, was really nice, efficient, and informative. He even put booties over his shoes to keep my floors clean while he walked around. He answered all of my questions about how safe the spray was for animals (I have a cat and a hedgehog) and even changed the ant bait he used outside after I told him that my boyfriend's dogs come over to visit sometimes. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with extermination needs. read more

I felt like I needed to thank the technician who was fantastic in ridding the mice from my home after 2 other companies tried and failed. My husband was referred by John at Wildlife Control who handled our Raccoons last year in the crawlspace of the house. A few years ago one of my tenants had an issue with mice. Atlantic came out and solved the problem to my tenant's satisfaction, and charged me a reasonable fee. Recently, one of my tenants had a "flea" infestation and wanted to "bomb" the apartment. This is my first negative Yelp review that I am posting, but I feel that it's necessary so people know what they are getting into! I am writing this not to complain about the technicians or the effectiveness of the service, but to complain about the repeated attitude from their customer service after I signed up for the quarterly plan. Atlantic Pest Control had great customer service and friendly technicians.....for the first two visits. But all of a sudden, when I signed up for the quarterly plan, the technicians (who, by the way, are very friendly and fast) did not show up at their scheduled times, either leaving "sorry we missed you" notes on the door or not showing up at all. What originally helped me choose Atlantic was that their technicians were able to schedule appointments as early at 7:30am, which allowed me to receive service without having to miss work. For my first two visits, they were very accomodating to this. When I called regarding their missed appointments last September, the person who answered the phone told me she scheduled it for the "wrong month", then rescheduled the appointment for later that week....when they didn't show up on time again! They did not call to reschedule or apologize, and, out of frustration, my plan was to discontinue service with them before the next appointment. Last week I received a Past Due invoice for a service that I never received. When I called to inquire about the charge, the woman I spoke with talked to me as though I had done something wrong, and kept telling me everything that I should be doing to prevent these problems from happening. She told me that I should have been calling more to reschedule, that I was responsible for the cost because of the quarterly contract, and that their technicians do not make appointments for 7:30am. Before I was able to even explain to her what had happened, she then curtly told me she would cancel the invoice and any future service and hung up on me while I was trying to talk. As someone who answers phones for a customer service line for a living, I understand what it's like to deal with difficult clients - however, I was not even able to speak with the woman without her interrupting me and cutting me off! I was shocked that a company would cancel a connection with a client so quickly without any apology or explanation, and in such a rude manner. My experience with this one person has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I ended up here, sharing this information so it doesn't happen to the next person! If you do choose Atlantic, don't sign up for the quarterly plan, and be prepared! read more

I have an old Baltimore row house, so naturally I have pests. I've had a really good experience with these folks. They've been prompt, communicative, and courteous; their prices are reasonable; and their products work well. I have a quarterly contract, with free re-applications in between if needed. My dog and cat have not had any bad reactions to the products they use, and--a big bonus--they don't even need me to move furniture or empty cabinets for the treatments. Atlantic Pest Control treated my house for termites, and just over one year since the treatment I found a termite tube come through my second floor ceiling. Clearly, they did not eat through my ceiling overnight or in quick fashion, and the treatment that Atlantic had delivered my home was not effective. I reached back out to the company, and they came to inspect the evidence. I was told that "technically" I was out of the warranty period and thus would have to pay not only to treat again, but would also have to pay to get back into a warranty with this company. This is incredibly poor customer service considering that the termites were very much active and continued to damage my home after their treatment. Rather than honor their service, they are expecting an ineffectively treated customer to again give their company business. That will absolutely not happen. I would not at all recommend their treatment, as it clearly did not work, nor would I recommend their service. Save yourself the cost of multiple treatments an go with another company. Very unsatisfied. read more

I've been using Atlantic Pest Control for about five years and everything's been great. I switched to them from Orkin after I got mice in my attic and my Orkin branch told me they didn't handle mice (?!). Atlantic came right out, the guy was super professional and knowledgeable, and spent a long time inspecting the attic (it's pretty big), climbing and crawling around everywhere. He sealed a possible entrance, set traps and bait, and came out the next week to recover the bodies and set some kind of "insta-dry" bait that kills them but mummifies them so they don't smell or attract flies. They treat my exterior every few months (their service was cheaper than Orkins), and leave me with sticky traps for my basement if I need them, but I haven't had pest or mice problems since. read more
