This is our second exterminator experience since moving to Baltimore (for mice) and they were EXCELLENT. Nate was extremely easy to get in touch with by telephone on a Sunday. He offered to come by and look at my issue right away, which I wasn't expecting. I had him come the following day, by which time the parade of strange bugs through my unit had (thankfully) dispersed. Nate identified one that I captured in a plastic bag as pretty harmless. So, it turns out I didn't have much of a problem, which was a little embarrassing. Nate was very nice about it, and he showed me what to do if the bugs returned. First I heard scratches in the wall. Then I saw scurrying out of the corner of my eye. Then he (the mouse) had the nerve to look me in my face like he owned the place! I found Relay Pest Control on Yelp and noted the great reviews so I left a message on a Saturday morning. A couple of hours later I got a call back from Nate and he said he would come out the next morning around 7. This really surprised me because I assumed I wouldn't get service until the following Monday. He arrived Sunday morning at 7:10. Prompt! Long story short, Nate is extremely professional and thorough. He checked for and sealed up cracks and openings and left bait and traps. Obviously it's too early to tell if the traps worked, I'm going to monitor if I hear anything. We thought we might have bedbugs, and we had overnight guests coming. We were in panic mode. None of the pest companies were returning our calls - it was getting toward Christmas. We tried Nate, and caught him around 9 pm. We actually were able to talk to him and explain our problem, and he worked us in. He was at our home by 1pm. Nate checked everything carefully and assured us that was not our problem. (Unfortunately, there are exterminators who would gladly accept the fee for removing bedbugs whether they exist or not.) He honestly told us he didn't know for sure what was biting us, and laid down a protective barrier. We still had some bites afterwards and are trying some other remedies, but I will never forget his promptness, his professionalism, and his honesty. read more

Nate came in for second time after our follow up conversation as I still had some minor issues after the first treatment; even though I know nothing can be fixed in one shot or one day. He re-inspected everything to make sure no more wholes, filled the suspect able gapes with steel wires, put some more bates in every batroom, bedroom, kitchen and basement and when he gave me the ticket for an hour of inspection it was free. Never saw a serviceman like this before specially now a days. He used a full bag of bates, special powder and an hour long of his time in this winter nights, who does that. At the end when I saw the ticket saying zero dollar, I was asking where is the charge; he simply smiled at me and said it was just a follow up courtesy. Over the past year or so, he's helped us with cave crickets, mice, and wasps in our house (first time homeowners and apparently I've been very lucky to not have to deal with many pests in my life up until now). It's super easy to get an appointment set up and he takes the time to go over what's going on, take a thorough look around, and apply treatment (and give advice on what steps we can take to avoid problems in the future). Absolutely wonderful service! We had a mouse problem in our house. When I called to schedule and exterminator, they made sure to send someone out the very next day. The exterminator, Nate, arrived exactly when scheduled, was friendly, and did a very thorough job. He not only put out fresh bate, but searched the house to figure out where the mice were coming in. He stuffed holes with steel wool, even moved appliances to make sure there were no entry points behind them. He was also great with my very inquisitive toddler.
