Bartenders rude, acted as if it was our fault that their staff told us to sit at the bar with a minor. Then explained to the only black girl at the table that it was wrong and said nothing to the person actually sitting there under age. Even after the girls mom (a white woman) stepped in and said sorry the bartender continued to only speak to me.. We went to Applebee's last night Saturday Dec 5. We ate outside and it was their last night of outside dining due to everything being closed down again. We ordered the two dinners with an appetizer for $22. Appetizer was spinach and artichoke dip and we both ordered cheese burgers. The dip is always delicious. The chips are thin and crunchy. The burgers were very good. It was cold outside but a plus is we had a space heater by us. All in all it was a nice dinner even though it was still a bit chilly. Our server was nice and attentive. Asking for separate receipts because of the promo for the topgun movie. But the employees don't get how to do that. Then we got some receipts,and not all so I guess we are supposed to share. We have eaten here off and on for quite a few years and the food has always been pretty good. I usually get ribs but tonight ordered online for "car side pick up." I ordered 3 fish and chips dinners for pick up at 4:40 pm. I arrived at 4:33 knowing I'd maybe have a little wait. She even waived our bill and offered my son ice cream for his 5 th grade promotion we were celebrating. Shockingly bad, where do I begin, first they gave us potato's instead of green beans, then the chicken pasta looked half eaten with 3 slim sliced pieces that wouldn't even equal a quarter of a chicken breast. Then the chocolate dessert they initially forgot to bring us at car-side to go, came with "hot fudge" turns out it was BBQ sauce and ruined the dessert because you couldn't tell from how dark it was and thinking it's meant for your food we just poured it on top. When we called to complain the Manager had the nerve to tell us to call back tomorrow and they will see if they can do something for us. Unbelievable. What's the Manager hired at this location for?
