I ordered dinner here for my family, a meal easily $100 minimum. BIG MISTAKE. We ordered apps, steak, ribs, gril r chicken, bourbon chicken and shrimp and a big strawberry balsamic glaze salad. The only thing that had any real flavor was the ribs. The steak was full of bristle in every bite...fed it to the dog and it was the most expensive thing we ordered, the ribeye!! We are very disappointed for the amount of money we spent but the my guess is applebees will do what they have done in the past when complaints were to be had - Nothing? I truly hope others have a better experience...maybe it was just an off night, I dont know. *ETA - They made it right and refunded me our entire meal! I came in with a big group, and our server was amazing -- super friendly and professional. But then the manager, whose name starts with an "L," came over, and everything went downhill. She was unbelievably rude, smelled strongly of cigarettes, and clearly had terrible hygiene. It was honestly disgusting -- my lungs were burning just standing near her. The food itself was good, but I found what looked like a piece of hair or something weird on my plate. Between that and the manager's attitude, it completely ruined the experience. Whoever that manager is should not be representing this restaurant. She needs to be dealt with immediately. read more

Been coming here on and off for many years now and never really had an exceptional experience. However, I willl no longer be going there because the other night I went with my family and was served raw chicken. Whats most dissapointing is that the only compensation we recieved was a $10 discount. To think they thought poisoning my family was only worth $10 is pretty dissapointing, to say the least. Cherry ontop is that they rang up the wings seprately which is odd given that its supposed to be free with the 2 for 25 OR the 2 for 30 deal. Were they trying to sneak in an additional charge? I have had poor service here BUT I completed every survey presented to me and corporate and management have changed things around. My last two visits have been great. Victoria had a broken finger and was so pleasant and efficient it was amazing! I could not have done so well with ten whole fingers. For the first time ever, a manager did stop by our table and say hello and ask how everything was. I believe that this restaurant really cares about doing well and simply got lazy for a bit. If you don't get feedback, how can you improve? I think this is the best come-back ever. The food is good, well-prepared and the servers really seem friendly and attentive now. I sent corporate an email and I got a personal, written (not form letter) response within 2 hours. So if for any reason, they do not continue to live up to their potential, let them know! applebees, where do i even start. the service was fantastic. as soon as i walked in the door the dim lighting and the pictures on the wall instantly let me know i was in the right place. we were seated right away. our server erin was very polite. first question was how's your day and then how the football team did. then i ordered my chicken quesadilla and not but 5 minutes the delicious steaming quesadillas come flying out of the kitchen. my mouth was already drooling by the time the food got to the table. i was like a kid on Christmas grinning from ear to ear. i couldn't contain my hunger, i instantly had to dig in. the smooth cheese and chicken blended fantastically and don't even get me started on the peppers. the subtle spice and flavor really eventuated the cheese and chicken. erin checked multiple times to see how our food was. it was heavenly. i just had to order a desert. i had the famous chick molten cake. oh boy. i could taste the flavors in my mouth already. as soon as it came out the entire restaurant smelled like sweet sweet chocolate. i picked up my fork and cut into the melty goodness. i've never had a better molten cake. i loved this experience. 10/10 read more

This Apples Bees was extremely accommodating. We have a favorite Oriental Chicken Wrap (no longer on the newest menu) and they made it for us! The also gave us extra large portions of the regular Oriental Chicken Salad and To Go cups for our mango lemonade and ice tea. Since the Vikings football game was on they let us sit close to a tv showing it. They even found a comfortable table that we could sit at with our handicapped grandma. Great service, fast and clean place (with clean bathrooms). This is our second stop at this Apple Bees. read more

Hubby and I stopped by this place after seeing a show at Treasure Island. We were starving so thank goodness they were still open. Got in about 10 minutes before they stopped allowing food orders. We ordered the boneless chicken wings, fries and the blondie dessert. Haven't been to an Applebeee's for a couple of years so I thought the food we ordered was good. Just got back from eating a meal there tonight. Food was good, and the manager (who also was our waitress) did a great job! Unfortunately, we didn't have our own server because it seemed the entire wait staff were tripping over themselves to help a table of 16 who were in the restaurant at the same time. Having worked in the industry, I know a big table can mean a big tip, but it shouldn't be at the expense of other customers. We just finished eating at Applebees. I have to say when we walked and we were not greeted in there was three people up front. I did not feel very welcome when I walked in. After I was seated with my family, a waitress name Samantha came in assisted us. I can't tell you that's been the best service I have experienced in a long time. Thank You Samantha. First off, the waitress could not tell me how many ounces a large beer was. Instead, she pointed to someone else's glass. Untrained and unprofessional. I ordered the Bourbon Steak from the 2 for $25 menu. When it arrived it was sizzling hot like a fajita. Potatoes were near burned and overcooked. Had to wait abt 2-3 min for it to slightly cool down. May make for good presentation, but it was dangerously hot and in my opinion, should not be served that hot! Finally, getting a bite in, I was so disappointed! All I tasted was SALT! WAY too salty! Potatoes also. I asked the waitress about it (had to flag her down) and she said the bourbon flavoring is a POWDER. Must contain huge salt. She offered to have another made with less powder. Again, came extremely hot, and took 15 minutes to arrive. She had me speak with the manger who offered to subtract it from the check. However, only $7 and some change was subtracted. We called in a carside to-go order for two people. The lady who took the call was rude, and didn't believe I was calling the correct Applebee's because I have a Wisconsin zip code. When we showed up at the time we were given, nobody came outside. 10 minutes went by, and someone came out to ask us why we were parked in carside to-go. We said we were waiting for our order. Another 10 minutes pass, and the manager comes out to tell us "they have no record of our order". We ended up waiting another 40 minutes for our food to be brought out. read more

Right now i think I'm being a bit generous by even giving this review 2 stars. Applebee's here usually has good food and good service but this time I didn't get either of them. I didn't even get to eat. Me and my handicapped father decided to go out to eat tonight and we decided that we'd go to Applebee's, but but the waiter had turned us down saying that their dining area was closed and the bar was only open until 1 a.m. (this was at almost 12 a.m. when we went in). So I decided to go and check the hours on the internet and on the outside of the building. Both of them said that they were open until 1 a.m. tonight but nowhere did it say that only the bar was open until 1. Both the signs on the building and the Internet were very misleading. So here me and my father are at 1 in the morning still looking to find something to eat because they didn't specify which part of their restaurant was open. I suggest that you guys update your signs and hours so you don't get more angry customers like me read more

On Friday December 6, I ordered the walleye fish and chips. It was the worst fish I have ever eaten or seen. They over cooked it ( too dry), too much breading. Took away the taste of the delicate taste of the walleye. They deep fried it to a black brown, wish I had taken pictures. I didn't eat it. read more
