Super friendly staff that handled a very busy play offs day with no issues! We had the burger of the month, a pretzel bacon burger, pizza dippers, and Korean meatballs. All of it was as delicious. We also wanted to know if they had beyond burgers,because we saw it on the online menu but didn't see it on the actual menu. The young lady went and checked for us and said yes they did have it. After some time another young lady came and asked if we were ready to order we said yes and ordered our food. I ordered a cheese curd burger with a Beyond burger patty with fries, my wife had ordered a Won Ton Burger with a Beyond Patty and fries. The food came out probably between 10-20 mins after we ordered. When the food came out it was very appeasing to the eyes and it smelled great!I couldn't wait to dig in. I tried my food and the house Ranch dressing and it all tasted great! My wife loved her food as well, and she doesn't even care for beyond burgers. The only thing that i would suggest that they can improve on is the temperature of the food. My wife's and my food wasn't hot or warm. Food has definitely taken a BIG step backwards! 1.Terrible chips in there nacho's! spend a dime for some quality chips and stop with that shitty sauce you think is so good, IT Sucks! 2.Chicken should not need to be cut with a chainsaw!!! 3. We just discovered Duggie's! I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch on a gluten free bun and the hubs had the smokehouse burger. Both were wonderful!!!! Love their menu - they take everyday dishes to a new level! So glad I read the reviews. A+ We did takeout. read more

Just moved here and only went because of Yelp and it was good, usual price, but 4 stars because it took 25 minutes for the food to come out...and it was cold, there was no apology or whatnot so I assume long waits are normal. I just love Duggie's (I know it reads "Dougie's" but it's pronounced "Doogie's" for all y'all who haven't had the pleasure yet). Between my boyfriend and I, we've tried most of their menu and almost every special they've had over the last twelve months. I'm currently working my way through their loaded bacon cheddar mac & cheese. Their menu contains some unique ingredient combinations, and they never fail to disappoint. I love when restaurants get playful with their food! They also have an incredible rolling list of local beers that they circulate through so there's always an opportunity to find a new favorite while you're there. Overall, the inside atmosphere is homey and cozy - it brings local sports bar to a much more comfortable and relatable atmosphere. They play the local high school's games, there are decorative attributes to the local and state sports teams, and they have some seriously cool swag if you're looking to rep them in the streets. We live two minutes away from Dugarel's and this is my standing dinner hack for lazy nights. Never disappointed. read more

We were in Wabasha for the weekend and stopped here on our way home. The food was delicious for a bar and grill type environment. The area was very open, there were a lot of high tables spread out throughout the location. There was a couple pool tables and some games in another room. We had the mashed potato egg rolls and Applewood dry rub wings. It was wing Sunday so we did 10 wings and got a side of Ginger Soy sauce to try. The sauce had great flavor but was very salty if you had a lot of it on the wings. Others had the Chicken Philly that they raved about and the club sandwich was huge and looked amazing. We came in mid afternoon, it wasn't real busy, but there were a few tables that had customers. Took awhile for the waitress to get to us, but once she did, it was superior service. She always made sure our glasses were refilled and she was very nice, better yet, seemed to enjoy her job. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing. I had the 6 wing basket with fries, garlic honey sauce. On the menu it stated that it was not hot. It was. Waitress did offer to replace, but our food took so long to come out initially, so I declined. Fries were OK, they definitely don't do the double fry, but they were fresh cut. Son had the juicy lucy, it came out black on top, way overcooked. He did enjoy the waffle fries. Son's GF had fettuccine alfredo. They put so much black pepper in it, that's all she could taste. No drink menu. For that place, I guess they rely on the vast beer selection. That's all well and good, but there are an entire clientele that don't care for beer. A few craft cocktails and some old reliables would be nice. I didn't know what I wanted, so I just got soda, when I really wanted a cocktail. This place is huge but the bar area itself is always crowded. I prefer to sit at one of the tables in the open dining area. The burgers are the best. Everyone under 21 has to be out by 10pm as per MN state law but there are children there before that. There are some games to play while you hang out, encouraging you to stay longer. The staff all seem like they are there to hang out with you. Food comes out as soon as it is ready and not all at the same time, but it means your food is hot when you get it. read more

When I told my friends I was going to Minnesota, they told me I had to try a local dish known as a Juicy Lucy. For those who don't know, the Twin Cities has developed a reputation for stuffed hamburgers. Some may call it an inside out cheese burger. The cheese is wedged inside the patties and melts inside during the cooking process. Seeing several episodes of Man vs Food about these infamous burgers in the past, I asked locals where I could find one without making the 20 minute journey from Hastings. I was pointed to Dugarel's. My expectations were really low mind you. Several recommendations for other local joints came up shamelessly below par. At first glance, it looks like your typical sports themed bar you would find in any bustling city. For a small town like Hastings, walking through the doors made me feel like I was back on in the OC. There were plenty of LCD TVs mounted on the wall. The island bar was occupied with thirsty patrons. There was even a popcorn machine next to the patio door. While you wait for your beer to come, one could walk over and get a free cup of freshly popped kernels. Locals were drizzling what appeared to be paprika on it. I was not sure. I didn't partake in the popcorn before dinner. Instead, I ordered some chicken wings. Half Sweet Asian Chili and half Garlic Parmesan. Both absolutely delicious. 6 wings for $4.99. Totally reasonable. The wings were accompanied with a large cold beer, $3.50! You cant get prices like this back home. The selection of beer was nothing to brag about, but Dugarel's held its own in this department. When the Juicy Lucy came out, it didn't look like what I had saw on television. But after my first bite, that brash disappointment quickly diminished. The bun was soft, the patty was totally moist. It was stuffed with bacon. With each bite... the American cheese was just oozing out of the burger. After 3 bites, it became a little too messy to hold anymore with my hands. The pre-wrapped silverware in the cardboard pack found on each table top came into good use. The burger is surprisingly priced at only $8.99 for the amount of food one gets. I walked out of the place belly full and totally guilty of the amount of calories I just consumed. But when in Rome... Hands down, I would totally recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went to have dinner with my wife and some friends visiting town, especially because they have a nice patio to enjoy a few beers on, the table next to us proceeded to talk about how "Retarded their wives were." However today we loyal few who frequent this fine establishment were informed that they do not carry the essential equipment to properly play various bar games. Even though this is a slight infraction, I still felt that all of my needs were not met.
