I took both of my daughters here for lunch and ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. Since it was a weekday and there were plenty of open tables, I expected the service to be fairly quick. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It took nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, it was only lukewarm. Since the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp is served on a skillet, I was expecting it to arrive sizzling hot, but it wasn't. That said, the food itself was good. The chicken and shrimp were cooked well, the seasoning was flavorful, and we enjoyed the taste. I also waited quite a while for drink refills but eventually gave up. Even the tabletop ordering system didn't have our drinks available to reorder, which made things a little more frustrating. Our server, Briana, was friendly, attentive whenever she was able to help, and had a great attitude. My only real disappointment was how slow the overall service was and how long it took for our food to come out. Despite the delays, we still had an okay experience. We'd be willing to come back and give them another chance, though we'll keep our expectations a bit lower next time. read more

I can't speak for the restaurant if you're dining at a table, but if you decide to grab a drink and a bite to eat while sitting at the bar, my experience has always been fantastic on a the weekend.. Marrisa and Brie, the two bartenders who work on Friday and Saturday night, are fabulous. Both are very experienced at mixing drinks, and not afraid give you what you paid for. My food has always been very good for a restaurant at this price point, and the service on point. I had the 12 ounce rib eye cooked medium rare with two sides for $26. I usually pay $50 for just the steak in most restaurants in the South Bay and the sides are extra. If you're looking for an $80 meal, go somewhere else, but don't complain when you get the same meal for $30 and the meat is prepared a fraction off. read more

We stopped by on a St. Patrick's Day to celebrate our cousin's birthday. The restaurant was cleaner than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The food, however, remained subpar to par at best--nothing to rave about, but it filled the void. I ordered an Oriental Chicken Salad, which looked good on the plate but tasted pretty standard. The fried chicken pieces were crispy, and the dressing added some needed flavor, but nothing about it really stood out. The highlight of my night? My Passionfruit Mai Tai--which, of course, I enjoyed in my own Teko Teko tiki mug. This place doesn't serve drinks in tiki mugs, so I came prepared to elevate my cocktail experience. It was well-made, sweet but balanced, and complemented the night perfectly. Our server, Courtney, was friendly and attentive, so no complaints there. Service-wise, everything went smoothly. I just woke up after working a 16 hour shift I was hungry haven't eaten for almost 36 hours I was in the area in Lemoore California I decided with an American holiday like memorial day I wanted to drown myself with food. I saw that Applebee's had all you can eat shrimp, riblets, and chicken wings so I got that and the Sam Adam's beer. This location sucks when I walked in. I was seated almost immediately. The waitress and server were really nice and got me a drink fast. What disappointed me was the portions I was getting on the all you can eat shrimp riblets, and chicken wings. Proportions don't fall on the waitress or the server. It falls on the kitchen. These people suck at doing their job. Plate of shrimp only had 5 to 6 shrimp on a refill next time I will be going to red lobster Chili's or Texas roadhouse in Visalia and save myself some time and heartache. I ate a total of 27 shrimp that is sad if you can count how many shrimp you actually ate and two riblets with two portions of french fries and I'm a big guy. I'm 6 foot six 255 pounds. I left because of all the disappointment and I was about to flip my lid so I got in my car and I drove home. Not worth going to jail over kitchen staff that is probably on narcotics of some kind hates Life or just wants to get home to get high. read more

My experience at the restaurant was extremely disappointing. The service was slow, the staff seemed uninterested in helping customers, and several requests were either forgotten or ignored. It took far too long to receive our food, and when it finally arrived, no one checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Sunday on Easter 2025 Server was nice but a bit too goofy, acting like a friend rather than professionally. Cocktails were good. We ordered the Combo appetizer which was ok but the artichoke dip wasn't as good as it has been. No celery to go with the Buffalo chicken which were not saucy at all .....entree was Broccoli Chicken Alfredo, it came wayyyy later because our server didnt come back soon enough to order it Finally got it but we were tired by then and asked for a To Go container. My wife and I recently ate at this restaurant, for my wife's birthday. I gave it two stars, mainly for the food and seating. No complaints whatsoever about the waitress. She was great! courteous, and attentive. The spaces were very clean. Ambiance, let's face it, if you're looking for a quiet place to eat, it's not Applebees. Now for the food. I had the steak. It was not cooked how I requested it, and it was with out a doubt, the worse steak I've ever eaten in a restaurant! very tough and chewy! This Applebees has the worst service for a restaurant I've ever been to. We had Cherrel as our server all we ordered was the new all you can eat and a glass of beer and one mixed drink with waters. We were sat at 3pm and it was fairly slow. We did not even get our waters until 35minutes after seating and it was not even our server who grabbed them. After asking Cherrel where the drinks where she told us very passive aggressively that the bartender was busy. This would have been fine except 3 tables that ordered drinks AFTER us got theirs and all I ordered was a beer. After asking Cherrel again she then started to argue that she said they were busy and that they ran out of don julio for our drinks. Neither one of us had a drink with don julio in it she seemed like she was just wanting to argue. For someone that relies on guests to pay their bills you'd think that she would have been courteous and empathetic since we waited over 35mins just for a glass of water. She did not apologize once but instead insisted on arguing with her table. The table behind us saw exactly how were were treated and luckily enough they heard the whole thing too. With the rising prices on everything Applebees needs to take a long hard look at their staffing because soon they won't be able to stay open if their staff drives away all their guests. I manage a restaurant myself so I know exactly how reviews impact the business and I hope that management takes action so Cherrel never treats a table like this again since it cost them over $70 on Wednesday. We could not even stand to stay and eat so we did not take a single bite and it was all Cherells fault. Even the hostess was more kind and respectful towards us since he saw us a few days prior. We spend a minimum $50 each outing so I hope this puts into perspective the amount of money lost due to untrained servers. read more

Let me start off by saying it's been a few years I've been to this Applebee's. Main reasons customer service! Hostess was not very nice. First, not busy, but apparently we can't sit at the bar unless it was ok with the bartender. Second, we got a both instead, server was good at first. Good came out quick enough, drinks, salads, but when the food came out my steak was over cooked. I ask for medium and got well done. To make a short story long, my family finished their food before my food came back. Manager brought my food, didn't apologize but just asked if my food was cooked right. The service was horrible. We put in for our group amount (9) and watched countless other groups get sat for 36 minutes straight. To add, when we keep asking the waitress (Rebecca) to get seated, she said there were no tables available for us. We watched 7 tables be completely empty the entire time we waited. What a disappointment!!! They were not sure they could seat 5 of us even though we saw several empty tables. The temp inside the restaurant was VERY cold!!! All of us needed coats just to stay in to eat. Coffee maker is broken so unable to have coffee or tea. Service was fair, we had to ask for drink refills and condiments. Our hot food order was served cold and out Togo order arrived before we received our dine in food. I'm told service is inconsistent, sometimes good others times iffy. Its a chain so we were not expecting a gourmet lunch, however it would have been nice if the food was hot. Wife and I wanted a light lunch so we stopped in for a couple of bowls of French Onion Soup and some appetizers, she had the wonton tacos and I had the boneless wings. To start off the soup was barely luke warm, French Onion soup needs to be very hot to keep the cheese from turning into a brick, which is what happened here, the cheese was too cold to cut with the spoon, had to resort to the knife and once I got to the soup it was just warm and not very flavorful, wife had the same experience. Wonton tacos were ok, but nothing special, Boneless wings had no heat and were barely warm. I'm not a super big fan on Applebee's, but opted to go here because we had our dog and they have outdoor seating where she is welcome and well because.....it was a fairly nice day. I must admit that when I opened their menu I was amazed at how much their menu has changed and upgraded. Their food choices have expanded and the pictures make the food look fantastic. We ordered and got our food shortly after. In all honesty I can make better food at home. My kids said their food was okay but they wouldn't order the same thing again. My pasta was a little on the flavorless side but the chicken was pretty good. The star on the show was our waiter. From the beginning he was cheerful, talkative and caring. He took really good care of us and is the perfect example of what great service looks like. I wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out but for the life of me, I can't. With so many surrounding options, it's unlikely I'll return here, unless we have our pooch. read more
