I received excellent customer service today at Apple. I came in to have my battery assessed, and after the Genius Bar ran diagnostic tests, it was clear I either needed to get a new battery or a brand new phone. When choosing a new phone, I was assisted by A-Ron. He ensured I was informed of all options and prices. He provided insight on accessories, including screen protectors and phone cases. He was patient and answered all my questions. It was a great experience and I am really happy with my new phone. read more

Fast fun and efficient, a walk into this store feels more like an amusement park visit, albeit a very expensive amusement park visit. I had issues with my old iPhone and they assisted me quickly. I was able to trade in that phone and get a replacement phone since I was still eligible under warranty. When I had the problems with iPhone 7, they fixed it fast! I got my iPhone XR here and they showed me a few tips along with backing up my phone. They are nice and attentive! read more

I had an appointment at 7:50pm 8/14/19, needless to say, I was ten minutes early, was not greeted by anyone, waited for ten minutes to see if anyone was going to acknowledge me and no one ever did. Multiple Apple Store Associates walked by, made eye contact, but never acknowledged me, and never asked if there was anything they could assist me with. I walked up to a store associate and asked them if I could check in for my appointment, and I was told, "yes, someone will be right with you". Waited a few minutes and still no one came. Another store associate walked by, and I asked him if I could get some help, was told again, "yes, someone will be right with you". Waited, still no one came, asked another associate, was told again, "someone will be right with you". Asked another employee, and was told again, "someone will be right with you". I then asked when I might be helped, the employee had walked away and did not say anything back to acknowledge when I may be helped. Waited in the Apple Store for a total of 30 minutes and was not acknowledged, greeted, nor helped in any way. My two children had more help from the iPads they were playing on than I did from the store personnel. My appointment was to get my screen on my iPad possibly replaced if they were able to get it done. At this point I will never know if they had the means to get it done for a paying customer. I have done work and replaced parts on my iPhone's, iPad's, and other apple devices on my own, but my wife talked me in to going to Apple to have them do the work for me since we own everything Apple, and needless to say, I am very disappointed in the way I was treated, not acknowledged, and the lack of respect that I had received as a paying Apple consumer. I have multiple Apple devices in my home, from the computer (MAC), to 8 iPads for my wife and children, 4 Apple TV's, 4 Iphone's, 3 Apple Watches, 6 iPod touches, and the MacBook Air for my Laptop. After the poor experience I have received this evening, I am seriously contemplating switching to DROID/Samsung. I had hope the experience would have been better as it has been in the past when we make purchases, but tonight was very disappointing and irritating as a consumer as to the Lack of Customer Service, lack of greeting and acknowledgement, and lack of store associate support. I'm not too sure if I will be visiting the Temecula Apple Store again after this poor experience. I have also expressed my concerns with family and friends, and they too feel that this was a very bad experience and they too are debating on switching to DROID/Samsung after the poor experience that was received. They too feel that the customer service sucked and the employees should be reprimanded or retrained as to how the customer service industry works. I hope the experience gets better for others as the future progresses after my bad experience tonight, and I will be contacting Corporate in the morning to express my concerns and lack of assistance that I received this evening in hope the Apple Store will make the appropriate improvements with the staff, and customer greetings to make the customer's feel welcomed when they walk into the store, instead of feeling ignored. The store was not very busy to where they could have taken a few minutes to check me in, but instead was just put off. 2-3 "Technical Support employees just walking around doing squat when I want to drop $300 on a new piece of hardware, but I have to wait 15+ minutes for a "Sales Associate" while the time on my parking meter runs out. I was in town to meet with people and I thought I could stop by the Apple store after to pick up a new phone and AirPods real quick. When I arrive around 2pm the two check-in / greeters at the front were just talking to each other and poking at their iPads. I continued to walk by near the accessories section also passing by multiple employees standing next to each other and just poking at their iPads. In this section, I just stood there meandering and looking at the phones and macs, but yet no employees offered to assist this confused looking customer. The employees were paying more attention to each other and to their iPads than the customers. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service in this store; will never be shopping here again. read more

Adrian was a great guy, but I felt that I didn't get what I was needing. For all the money that you spent for Apple it's kind of sorry that you don't get back anything. I've spent money on three iPhones already, two iPad pros. I have family that have gone through many iPhones, and on iPads pros, and even on Mac 27 inches. I can't believe that just because of a little Dent where are you can't charge it that they won't take it in and exchange. Very sad! I was thinking of getting a Mac 27 inch like a family member did, because of my PC in the future that may die! But now maybe not! If this is the kind of service you're going to get, forget that! Seems kind of petty. For that reason I'm not even going to take it to recycling place, where they can get that stuff to use for them. Justin helped me look to all the all the new phones, he explained all the differences, he helped me make sure my phone was backed up and that i didn't have any issues backing up the phone. We are very disappointed with our customer experience tonight at this apple store location. We came in as a walk-in with no appointment to get a battery replacement on my iPhone 6plus fully aware that it would most likely be a long wait to be helped. To start when we walked in we were not greeted by any employees or asked if we needed help with anything, we had to walk up to someone who was just standing there. We waited patiently for about an hour to get a text that it was our turn. Once we sat up at the Genius Bar we had to wait another 15-20 minutes to be seen by a technician. Not to mention during this time, We also witnessed another customer being treated badly by another technician. The customer was even trying to thank him and shake his hand for the technician's help and the tech showed no curtesy to his actions. Our tech left us alone with my phone getting a software update. She recommended this instead of a battery replacement so we decided to trust her advice. She NEVER came back. Instead, right at 9pm, another employee came over asked us what we were doing, I said waiting on Amy to come back and finish helping us because I had no idea. She told me to set up my phone as a new phone on my own, not even bothering to walk me through it, and continued with her closing procedures. We were left there until the last customer left and every other employee knew we were the last ones there sitting and waiting and did not ask us if we needed help for another 15-20min after TURNING THE LIGHTS OFF and closing the store. It's not like we were trying to hang out there, our time is precious as well as any other person. They had no idea what we were doing there and said our tech already LEFT for the day, which made us feel uncared for and abandoned. We were even going to purchase a couple of Apple watch bands after our tech service so that business was lost along with any other future purchases at this store. My laptop needed repairs and they said the repairs would be finished to 5-7 days but they would call/notify me in 3-5 days. I wasn't expecting my repairs to be done quickly because they did tell me before that they had a lot of repairs to do. However, when I wasn't receiving any updates by the 6th day, I called the store for any updates. They said they would call me later that day. But they didn't. Then I called again the next day...7 Times. Each time I went through the automated system and was sent to a specialist. However all 6 times, they wouldn't pick up. It was the most frustrating thing ever. It was just going in circles. Then when they finally picked up, they let me know my laptop was ready for pick up but when I asked for the reason why, the specialist dismissed me saying that they will call again later.... IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING DEALING WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGH THE PHONE. read more

I went there looking for a charger for my new iPhone and they stated they were out and offered me no other alternative to charge my phone in the store. While charging my phone for 20 minutes I was asked three different times if I could be helped with something. I answered each time that I needed a charger for my phone. One employee stated there was a shipment at 2. I returned to the store at 4 and waited for an employee and asked if they had any iPhone chargers. She angrily stated no like I was annoying her. Alex, the staff member that ended up helping me was quite distracted, he came across as if his head was in a cloud somewhere. Not very focused, he actually seemed to lack competence and adequate training. Overall, the experience was great upon entering and terrible upon exiting, as the technical issue remains unresolved. First off why bother making an appointment? I have waited anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour and a half after my said "appointment time." Second why bother buying Apple Care? I could use that $99 on something else, because Apple looks for every excuse in the book not to replace a faulty phone. They blamed the service coverage in my area, my wifi at home, and a few other things. Fact is, wifi jumps off my phone like crazy, and I have lived in four different places since I first got an iPhone 4S. Now I'm on a 5C (that I got as a present or I would've gone Android) and I have the same problem. Wifi just switches over to data at any time. It's the phone. Not my router or anything else. The iPad I had did the same thing, constantly. I have a had a few really nice Apple geniuses, but for the most part I would call them "intelligently challenged" instead, and snotty on top of that. You realize you work in the STORE right? You're nothing. You aren't the CEO of Apple. So come down off your high horse and replace my phone, finally!!! I have always had IPHONE's for my business and for my personal use. I use a MAC Book Pro and thought I would NEVER say this but I'm going to change to Android....the customer service and the constant "mandatory" updates to the IPHONE that end up screwing things up is getting to much to take. EXTREMELY frustrated with this Apple store. I brought in my iMac last Wednesday for a fan issue... I've had it since early July of last year and it turns out it was a loose bearing issue or whatever. Great, covered under warranty. No issues there. Go home, and computer goes to a blank white screen, but doesn't go further than that. It turns off right after. Not even TWO hours after I pick it up, and I have to make another appointment to bring it back in on my day off. Brought it in today, and now it's a hardware issue?! I just can't catch a break... and to make matters worse, they don't do a data recovery nor do they back up your data before they do anything, so if anything happens, it's on you. After an hour and a half of waiting, I leave with my computer that has NONE of my files and without the same fuzzy feeling I had from when I first bought it. So moral of the story? Make sure you back up your computer before you bring it in here for anything. Apple has a great product, and I have every single one of their devices... but it's situations like this that make it really frustrating. I just can't believe a company of this status, doesn't offer the option to have their employees back up clients data before they perform any work. read more

I love this store. Well, I'm an Apple fan from way back, but this is my home store now. I was in line for hours and hours 5 years ago when they opened. I'll be there this Friday morning at 0'Dark:thirty to get my new iPhone 6. I have always had my questions answered & always treated as if I have a brain (unlike some other places). I try to get to as many open training sessions and 1:1's as I can, but unfortunately, other c**p has taken up most of my time this past year. And Apple Care? This is the one extended warranty I will not do without. It has always paid for itself. The last time I used it was upon return to Temecula on a long plane flight. The plane hit a bump and wine was spilled on my iPad. Purple screen - - not a good sign. I made a Genius appointment via my iPhone, and took it to the Apple Store as soon as I could get to the store (about 3-4 hours later). I told the 'Genius' that my iPad got sloppy-drunk on the plane, hence the purple, wine-smelling liquid that had infused itself into the iPad. Less than 5 minutes later, I walked out of the store, replacement iPad in hand. No questions asked. Did that pay for Apple Care? You betcha. If you're in line this Friday morning, I'll be the little old lady in line (first, I hope) waiting for the store to open. Hot coffee, my MacBook Pro & maybe donuts. Come by and say hey. This is a good Apple. Short version: Great service! Beautiful store! Long version: I know, I know, I've been a little harsh on the Apples in the past, but people can change...so can I. Ever since Steve-o passed a month or so ago I've been in a sort of mourning. Any time such a value-contributor leaves us I get all sad and depressed. I've been ogling the iPhone for a while and with the confluence of Steve and my deep-seated hate of Blackberry, I decided to go for it. Problem is that Verizon is on back order with the iPhone and its taking more than a week. Apple can get most versions within a day or two. But, Apple struggles to switch a Verizon business account. After a visit the night before and an hour the next day, I had my new and special little white 4S friend (traditional Apple FYI). The blue-shirts were great - helpful and apologetic for having to deal with Verizon - no apology necessary - I've been there. Nice job Apple Store Temecula! read more

I think it's time for Tim Cook to visit this store in Temecula! He would be absolutely appalled at the atmosphere and service by many of its employees. The Watch try on experience was horrible. I made three appointments to get what I needed and each employee that helped me was clueless! First employee tried hard to fake it, but was hopelessly lost when trying to open the damn fancy drawers. The second appointment was a little better but the girl was disheveled, unshowered and literally stinky, and even though I got there early she held me to a strict 15 min and wouldn't let me try on a watch that was literally sitting in front of me. Totally lame. The third appointment was the worse. The young man was completely clueless. He had no interest in showing me the watch at all and seemed annoyed at questions or requests. He didn't even know how to remove a band and when I said "you don't really know what u are doing, do u" he readily admitted he didn't. I showed HIM how to remove the band. So sad. The managers were really the only ones that seemed to care about the experience. My advice, if u are going to go through the trouble of making a stupid try on appointment, which is actually kinda lame in itself, ask for a manager to do it with u. I am a HUGE Apple fan. Having to go back to Android, but especially anything remotely related to Microsoft would be miserable. However, I am baffled by the amount of teenagers or very young 20'ers who work at the Apple store, barely out of puberty, still searching their identity. (hence the woollen hats inside a store in Southern California) At my last visit, one of the Apple kids kept giving me slaps on the back of my shoulder. The visit before that, another Apple kid kept calling me "dude". Walking in an Apple store is like walking into the playground of a school. I would not mind Apple kids if I did not have to deal with their pubescent behaviour. So I went to Apple to get my battery replaced, hour later they hand me phone with screen not fully on, tell me that they couldn't do the work because I've had my screen replaced by a third party before and my battery and along with like 3 other parts! Which is not true!! My screen was replaced but that's it. So they said all I can do is replace my phone and it can't be fixed, because they broke my screen and they said it's not responsive now. I went to Smart Repair right outside the store and he replaced my battery and my screen that they broke! Now my phone is working like new. read more

This store is absolutely dreadful. I spent $1000 on a new phone that is only 18 months old has never been dropped had a cracked screen overheated or been near water yet now that it's having all of these problems these people on average have a five day waiting period for them just to look at your phone waste your time tell you that they fixed it send you on your way and then tell you to come back when you called to complain that the issue is still there only to take another five days to book you another appointment and two hours to waist more of your time backing up and moving information over to a replacement phone so annoyed I will never buy another iPhone again hello Samsung you have my business I've always liked you better read more
