well, i had a problem in my iphone5. I had a really bad experience in Boston apple store. but this just great. The staff was so friendly, i had a problem in my sleep/wake botton when i checked it online i was qualified for the free maintenance, even though i didnt have a apple care. Even that they give a loaner phone as well. She was pretty friendly, thats all it matter. Just enjoy your work. read more

I made an appointment here to get my iPhone screen fixed. Even though I had an appointment, I still had to wait 30 minutes after checking in for someone to help me, and was then told "they were no longer fixing phone screens for the rest of the day"...... why did they let me make an appointment at that time to get my phone screen fixed if they apparently stop fixing screens at 6:00PM? I left work early and was visibly annoyed with the poor guy who delivered this bad news to me, so he assured me that I could come in within the next 5 days with my ticket and just drop my phone off without waiting. Not true. When I returned today, I had to wait another 25 minutes to get a new ticket. My pick-up time was 1:50PM.... I didn't get my phone back until 2:55PM. Plenty of workers standing around though doing absolutely nothing so I'm not really sure what the problem was, but thank goodness they apathetically said "sorry for the wait thank you for your patience". My experience at the Domain location was nothing like that so would recommend driving a little further and saving yourself the frustration. read more

Came on Sept 16th day of product launch for both iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 2. They told us we couldn't try on the Apple Watch 2 because the iPhone 7 line was long and more important. But if we already knew what we wanted we could check out. How would I know if I liked the Nike sport bands if the product just launched that day? On the day of two product launch what deems one product more important than the other? They should have enough staff to help sales of both products. I wasn't satisfied at all with coming here. First of all, my boyfriend and I waited 5 hrs before getting actual help and after getting help, they wanted us to to an update that was going to take another 3 hours, so no. As soon as I told them we were leaving bc it's taking too long the guy then says we can take the device and send it to the actual office so they can fix it. 5 days later back with my device they restored it, and had an activation lock on it when I gave it to them without one and I'm not very text avie so I don't know how to even set a lock, they continued to tell me they need proof of purchase in order to lock it when I got it OUT OF STATE! & iCloud has the device under my iCloud and the watch is showing a different iCloud so I was not happy with my experience with Apple. MY DEVICE DOES NOT WORK AND I CAN NOT EVEN GET IN TO IT... I SHOULD HAVE JUST LEFT THE PROBLEM THE WAY IT WAS!! read more

Waited two hours after being told by the person taking names that my phone was covered under warranty for a kid repeatedly tell me, "computers shouldn't be in water" and that I was out of luck. Okay, I'm not one to leave bad reviews but I was super disappointed by the service I received here at the Apple store. I have been an Apple fan since the first iPhone came out and have had every phone that has come out since then. I'm a loyal customer! I went into the Apple store to trouble shoot my phone for some issues I was having. (mind you I had an apt I made days prior) I got here 15 minutes before my scheduled time and didn't get seen till about 1 hour and 45 min after my apt. At that point I was already super upset. So when I finally got seen, the person that helped me gave me the most terrible attitude, after that I was over it and decided to just walk out. read more

If there's something wrong with your iphone and its out of warranty there's no real reason to go here. We went yesterday because my iphone 6 was jumping from 100% to 11% and shutting down constantly. It was working perfectly until this past Friday. I had a guy named Tomas, All he did was everything I did at home, Reset the phone, then erase it completely and restore it. That's it. He checked the battery and said it was fine which i don't personally believe. That's all he was willing to do for me. I was pretty disappointed. As soon as I walked out of there it shut down and off 5 times and I have moved back down to my trusty iphone 5s. I'm not sure what they are "geniuses" of? maybe for upselling you to a new phone? If you have any issues with your phone and are considering bringing it in, google how to restore and reset your phone at home, cuz that is all these 'geniuses' will do for you. I did all this before I even came in there. I won't ever go to apple for help again. You're kinda on your own unless you want to buy a new phone. If you must go in definitely make an appt online, The whole waste of time only lasted me 15 minutes (not including the hour commute) and I am grateful for that. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this situation was so off putting. I took my laptop in because it was having a problem charging. I had bought a new charger within the last year so I didn't think I'd need a new one just yet. I brought it in and the guy that was helping me was just so cringe. He was overbearing, loud, pushy, and in general made me super uncomfortable. He looked at my laptop and said he didn't see anything wrong on the inside as far as water damage. (He also said this is more likely if more than one person uses the laptop??). Not sure why that would make a difference. He tried to charge it with one of their chargers and acted so phony when it wasn't turning on. Anyways he went on to tell me it'll be 500 to send it to their Apple repair place and that's the standard price or I could buy a new one. He didn't tell me that when you replace the charger it doesn't come with a new cord. My intuition knew this dude was not trustworthy so I just left. I ordered a new charger cord on Amazon for 10 bucks and it's been working perfectly for over a month now. Don't trust them. read more

I went to this Apple store yesterday to get a new phone. I had the IPhone 4 wanted to upgrade to the 4S. From the moment I stepped in, I had great customer service! I had some issues getting the information necessary for an upgrade, since I wasn't the account holder, and the employees were extremely patient with me, and friendly while I was waiting to get the info. Once I got the phone, they made the entire process so easy. I went to get help with setting up my phone, because I am virtually computer illiterate. And the person that helped me out, was patient and took me step by step through the process. The only criticism I have is that some employees were overly nice, and it seemed fake, sometimes annoying. Honestly, I don't know how they act like that all day. But, it is definitely better than the opposite and not being helpful at all. I would recommend this place to anyone needing an apple device. read more

Would have got 5 stars except the young man I first encountered was incredible rude and was very snippy to my kids. I have a long fuse but not when it comes to people being rude to family. Now the good. I went because my MacBook Air (old af) was super slow and wouldn't respond to my actions. Before I went in I spent probably 20+ hours tying to fix it at home with apple support. Anyways. I went in and the last guy I was talking to probably spent a good 3 hours trying to fix it and was super nice to my kids. I have graded my phone about six months ago and bought a case with it all Apple products this was done at the AT&T store. The case is silicone and started to peel off like a cheap pair of sneakers whatever! I came into the store for a warranty replacement in this process is so hideous I felt like I was at the freaking Pentagon asking for replacement on the latest stealth bomber. What a horrible company what a lousy experience I hate Apple and I wish that I can overcome this addiction to their products. The company is no longer the same I have no technology to offer they just rehash products and when you go for service the whole experience is miserable. Recently went to the Apple store in the Domain for a warranty item on my son's IPhone. The service guy looked at the phone and immediately agreed it was warranty issue. Replaced the phone quickly with a new phone. It took a little time to get the data to the cloud and transferred over. It was a good pleasant experience. In the 6 Apple product we have owned 2 failed with a year (33%), 2 itouch's have lasted 4+ years, and 2 items are too early to tell. Still not a fan of Apple but it was good to meet at least a couple of people competent at the store. read more

Great service. Came in 30 minutes before closing and took longer than expected. We thought it was going to be an easy switch for my phone to give to my mother in law but carrier providers messed it up. John one of the sales associates who helped us, stayed 15 minutes after to make sure our phones were set up correctly. Super great service even though he needed to close up shop. I handed it over to you and said "it's the logic board. Help me." After keeping it for like two weeks, calling and telling me it was the power source, then the graphics card, you finally agreed it was the logic board. The price you quoted me to fix it just about made me shit myself. So, I left with my sad and broken iMac, and sad and broken heart. But I'll be back, Apple Store, because I love you. My daughter's brand new AirPods were glitching, so after contacting Apple's customer service via chat, I made an appointment (for yesterday at 5:30 PM) to have them evaluated at the Apple store in the mall. We showed up almost 10 minutes early and an associate promptly checked us in and directed us to a waiting area. The gentleman who assisted us, Eric, was very kind and helpful. He ran some diagnostics on the AirBuds and quickly got them working again. He also told us how we could fix the problem if it happens again. It took him maybe 10 minutes. My daughter and I were both very grateful for his assistance. I asked him if there was a survey or some other way of giving feedback regarding his excellent customer service, because such professionalism deserves to be recognized. He said that a survey would be sent via email. I haven't received the email yet, so I'm leaving this Yelp review. Thank you, Eric! You are doing an amazing job. read more

I like this Apple Store because the staff is always friendly and they acknowledge you when you enter the store. That's not the case at some other locations. I usually just want to browse and after a cursory "just browsing thanks" the staff respectfully leaves you to your browsing. On the rare occasions I do have questions, I want someone to ask if I need help. It's a small thing, but it's appreciated. Good customer service should always be rewarded. Not my favorite Apple Store I've ever been to. The employees seem younger and a little less experienced than I'm used to at other stores. I prefer them to always know more than me when it comes to Apple products, and that only happens about 75% of the time at this store. I highly recommend staying as far away as possible on the weekends. This place gets p-a-c-k-e-d. Seriously, you could lose your child in here lickety-split. I turned around and my friend was gone, swallowed by the crowd. Took me ten minutes to find him. Seriously, and the store isn't that big. I tried to search the Apple Forums for a solution and it looks like other people had the problem, but their solutions involved unscrewing the bottom and removing the battery and I didn't feel like messing with it. Just confused because my computer is only 2 months old. Genius: (Silence) Genius: (Judgment) Genius: (Tries all of the stuff I tried to fix the problem) Genius: Okay well, it looks like a problem with the airport card. We'll have to take it in to fix it. It says it's not installed. Valerie: Oh okay. (In my brain: Weird, isn't that what I just said?) Honestly, I'm relieved it was something I couldn't fix on my own because I didn't want to feel like I was wasting your time. Genius: (Condescending laughter) Yeah, you couldn't have fixed this. Valerie: Do a lot of people have this problem? Genius (Condescending harrrrumph) No. Genius: Okay well, this is a really easy fix for us, but we're really busy so it will take 5-7 days. Valerie: *GASP* Valerie: (Depressed look) Genius: Uhh, is that okay? Valerie: Yes. When asked about the time after waiting there for 30 mins, the response we got it 'so is everybody else' and 'please try to be patient as much as you can'.... imagine that tone after waiting there for 30 mins..... service was ok after I got assistance. Some products are good but many fail to produce at the level of hype that is attributed to them. Here in lies the problem with the Apple Store and "we are bitchin" attitude. When you ask for a product people don't try to sell me what im not asking for and then treat me as ignorant and offer me something that is not as good as a better product. Saturday was a great day. It was the day I got an iPhone. Finally! As if that isn't sweet enough- I got it at the Apple store. This location has got to be the smallest Apple store I've ever been in. But that is OK because it is well staffed with friendly knowledgeable people. The guy who was helping me sold me an iPhone, but more than that he showed me how it worked, unwrapped it and even installed it on my apple computer that I brought in. He was in no rush and answered all of my questions. Amazing! I went back to the store today for a case and a different Apple guy was just as friendly to me. This guy helped me pick a case and even applied the face shield for me- which I probably would have messed up on my own. All in all great customer service and products. I hate the whole Apple world. I am an I phone user but only because it was a gift. Apple is controlling and arrogant. Every time I have a problem I start this long ridiculous process. First call apple. Then get transferred to a service in India. Explain problem get a strange answer like is your phone on? Right okay ask again. Get another answer this time you can hear the paper shuffling as the person looks it up on their cheat sheet. Then it is suggested that you should make an appointment with the apple store ..... Looks like they can see you in a week. Splendid no phone for a week. Now for the apple store. Bah ha ha what a joke. Even though I have an appointment I stll wait almost an hour to see a genius. There is really so much to make fun of with this. Most of it is dripping with sarcasm. Let's just say I knew what the problem was but my genius wasn't on the same page. Maybe he has so much to live up to with his title he felt like he needed to improvise. Whatever. That took an additional 40 min. When he finally agreed on my reason and like I had told him from the start I needed a replacement. Getting a replacement took another 40 min. And because my phones problem was a power issue that no one could fix I lost everything that was in my phone. Really it was torture. I remember the good days when my phone broke and I went to the dealer and they gave me a new one. So simple really. But Apple has to be such control freaks they do not allow for simplicity. One of the worst experiences I could ever have. The floor guys are nice but Tech people instead of helping people mostly walking around talking with each other and laughing. After a floor person calls you, you have to wait almost 20 minutes when one of the Tech people thinks you are worthy enough to talk to. In my case when the girl showed up, which I did see her instead working just hanging out with her friends, not only did not help me, she made me feel bad. She was not interested listening to me. It was like talking to a robot. She was rude, unpleasant and not helpful at all. After few words she left. She didn't fix my problem, she didn't ask me just I felt I wasted my time to drive 20 miles to come there. I went here today to replace my worn down screen protector. Despite the fact that the place is always busy, I was greeted very kindly by a young man and he quickly directed me towards the proper area of the store to have a gentleman named Gerald assist me. At this point, the task I'd been somewhat avoiding became seamlessly effortless. Not only was Gerald personable on a genuine level, he was efficient with his work, and beyond all he made the experience an exceptional one with his subtle, yet recognizable pleasantries. Thank you so much for all your help this afternoon and I will be back to purchase a new phone case simply because my experience was so welcoming. I highly recommend going here for all apple related needs especially if you are not tech savvy and stress at the thought of trying to "fix" something yourself. Although I had to wait a bit for an appointment at the "Genius Bar" (kind of ridiculous name, IMHO), I got help earlier than my scheduled appointment and they set me up with a borrowed power cable, had patience with my slow Dell as I performed a backup, and were very competent. read more

After the remodel the store can now handle the amount of people that need to go to the Apple Store, it was too crowded before. Exchanges and returns are a breeze, most employees are nice, but most employees don't learn about all of the products being sold at the stores. I understand that if theres a brand new fitness tracker that there aren't going to be too many people going to get it on the first day it arrives in the store but the employees should know of the new products coming in just in case. The store is always clean and nicely lit. They mostly always have the products that you need/want. read more

Called the day prior to make a Genius Bar appointment. Was given prices to fix my broken phone screen and in 12 hours the price inflated by $50. When I asked the worker about this he literally shrugged, when I told him I spoke with the store itself yesterday, he just said "oh well" and asked if I would agree to their terms HE WASNT EVEN LISTENING TO A WORD I SAID. Top it all off, this asshole didn't even try to speak with me as I told him I was leaving. This store is truly shit.
