I went in because my iPhone 6 charging jack was going out intermittently. I had tried to blow it out with a can of air, but after no improvement I decided that I must have damaged the jack with an after market charger connector. I called Aplus and they were efficient and up front on the phone. They said they would examine it and if it was a bad jack they would replace it for $70. They said I could bring it in any time. I arrived an hour later and a young man examined it for a few minutes. He then used a can of air, as I had tried, to blow it out. I'm not sure if he did anything else to free up dust, but he told me that he was able to blow out a large chunk of dust. I asked what I owed...He said NO CHARGE. While he didn't have a lot of time into it, he did spend some time clearing it. They also took the time to go over my issue on the phone. It was very nice if them not to ask for any compensation. These are very honest and efficient people. I would 100% go back for other repairs. read more

These people are amazing! They've fixed 3 Apple problems for our family in the last month. First, my daughter's Macbook stopped closing properly..It seemed like it would break in half at any moment! They completely fixed it (and fixed a missing key while at it). Then my iphone screen cracked. Fixed that in 1 hour so i didn't even have to be without my phone. But perhaps the best thing was today. My son woke up sick with a final exam today and his phone wouldn't charge! Disaster day. Called up APlus and they said it sounded like the dock needed to be replaced and they could do it within an hour. 2 years after my first visit to Aplus I had updated to a newer iPhone. Clumsy me, I answered my phone during dinner and it slipped like butter out of my hand into my spaghetti :( After dinner, I realized that I couldn't hear the person on the other end of my next incoming call. My 9 year old nephew thought he was helping when he tried to clean the sauce out of the headphone jack with his own earphones. I have gone to Aplus a few times over the last couple years and the service and quality of work has always been outstanding. Recently, I brought my dead laptop to Aplus. I returned a few days later to pick up my laptop. It turned on, no more pin wheeling, and faster than the day I bought it (upgraded RAM). Jerry and his staff are always honest, fair, and professional. They are upfront about all costs and will even let you if something might be covered by warranty or if the genius bar might do the repair for free or lower cost. I dropped my ipad2- shattered the screen and bent the corner :( It was already cracked from a previous incident but being a broke college student since it wasn't so bad I was waiting to get it fixed. I could wait no longer as now there was glass falling out. The back of my iPhone 4 had been shattered for a long time but since it was in a case I haven't done anything about that either. I looked up some places and while I found cheaper deals I wasn't too keen on shipping my iPad somewhere and crossing my fingers for its return. I text Jerry the owner of Aplus and he got right back to me letting me know that if I had my iPad and iPhone both fixed they would give me a slight discount on the total. I left school at 3 to drop them off- they fixed the back of my phone in 1 minute while I was dropping my iPad off- handed it back to me and it was like new! Jerry came out and let the guy handling my drop off that i was getting a discount and that they were going to try and get it done for me that night and if not it was to be done 2morrow. They called me at 4:30 to let me know my iPad was ready- and hour and a half after I dropped it off! I picked it up and it's like new, they bent the corners that were dented back out so they aren't pinching the glass and it's weird but I swear my screen is brighter than it used to be. The only reason I deducted a star was because of the price to have these things fixed, I know they have to pay for the parts and they did knock some money off for me but it took 1 minute to replace the glass on the back of my phone and the normal price is $50 for that. Someone told me apple will do it for $29 (Im not sure on this and would be suprised if they would fix anything for this cheap!) There are places online that use apple market parts and charge $99 for the ipad screen fix while this place is $150. However- it is worth the cost for me since I got to drop it off, pick it up, AND they finished it in under 2 hours! Also- apple isn't anywhere near this cheap and half the time they just want you to buy a new one (as if everyone just has that kind of money sitting around). So overall- amazing service, gave me a discount to do both iPad and iPhone fix, fast work, high quality, great location, just hard for a broke student to afford these fixes. Aplus Electronics is great! They have fixed a number of problems with my Apple products over the years from cracked iPhone screens to figuring out how to get my old Macbook to run faster. Most recently they replaced a trackpad for my Macbook Pro and tried to adjust the existing trackpad first to save some money, but ended up having to replace the whole thing. Absolutely satisfied. Finally decided it was time to fix my destroyed ipad 3 (didn't want to throw away an almost useless expensive investment) and looked to yelp for help. Aplus had five stars, ***used original apple factory parts, and two of my friends said their phones had been fixed here when I brought it up. So I gave the half hour drive a try. I couldn't be happier...their friendly staff had changed my screen from white to black, installed a new wifi chip, and buffed out the serious corner dents in the metal backing. I have a PC tower that spent the better part of the past year in dusty storage in a beachside garage. Dust and corrosion had accumulated on a biblical level and the rig refused to boot. I took it apart, compressed air, reassemble, same story. I was midway through my second disassemble when I called APlus and talked to TJ - he offered compressed air at no charge and recommended troubleshooting steps to isolate the potential issue. Ultimately brought the tower in to let them see the mess that had accumulated on the fan / heat sink. TJ happily took the nightmare off my hands for a 2-3 day turnaround. Less than 48 hours later I got the call that the job was done and the rig was running fast as ever. This place is AMAZING! I had searched on the internet for a camera repair place and APLUS came up in Yelp and I saw they did phone repairs. I took my camera in. The LCD screen was separating and hard to look through. They took one look at it and said "Sure, we can help you" So instead of having to either send it to Texas for hundreds and hundreds of dollars, or buy a new camera (it is only 2 years old) he ordered the part and now my camera is like brand new. I bought a phone on ebay with an aftermarket case and they did a shoddy job putting the thing back together. One of the screws in the housing was missing and it just wouldn't charge no matter what I did. This guy was amazing. Took him two seconds two open the housing. There were no screw holes in the housing (it was just dangling on there) and he said he carries Official Apple products to replace everything. I had the housing and a new screen (he said my screen wasn't orginal either) put on there. This was about a year ago and I never had a problem with the phone after that. All work was same day at a fantastic price. Apple would not have touched my phone with a ten-foot pole because it had been altered. Awesome service! read more
