I cannot say enough good things about this office. I called early in the morning for a same day…read moreappointment and was accommodated. I needed a root canal and was in a ton of pain. I felt the receptionist understood the urgency and helped me get in the same day. Once I got to the office Sheri was so kind while completing the imaging and explained the process. This was my first root canal so I was extremely nervous on top of being extremely overwhelmed and anxious. Dr. Chan was AMAZING! He was so kind and understanding. He gently explained every step of the process and ensured I was ok with each step. On top of that, Dr. Chan called me personally the next day to check on me! I hope I never need another root canal, but if I do, Asrari endodontics is my first call!

I was referred to Asrari by my dentist to prevent further issues. The procedure itself was not…read morepainful but I had a little soreness which I managed fine. I got the work done in December 2025. One small suggestion I would have preferred high level updates of where we are during root canal. However Dr Slykhous did a good job explaining afterwards and even showed me the updated x-ray which was nice. They place a temporary sealant which doesn't feel secure but seemed to be standard and they said can last up to 3 weeks. I'm satisfied with the work however the pricing is on the expensive side even with insurance so the value doesn't match the cost. Also they charge for an evaluation. Hopefully I won't need their services again as the cost would likely prevent me from returning.

I highly recommend Dr. Walker at Endodontic Specialists. I was directed to Dr. Walker by my dentist…read morewhen he determined that I needed root canals. It was obvious from my first meeting with Dr. Walker that he is very knowledgeable, explains the procedures thoroughly and why he determines they are necessary. He also does a CT scan before the procedure so he can see exactly what's going on with the affected area, preventing a lot of unnecessary probing during the actual procedure. He even found cavities in the crown area that were not visible with x-ray. With regard to the root canal procedure itself, seriously, I've had more pain and discomfort from a dental cleaning than I had with those two root canals. Painless. The numbing procedure was done exactly where the work was going to be done so I didn't go home with "rubber jaw" I was given an itemized invoice of exact costs at the first exam. It was more than reasonable when compared to current area costs. There is also a finance plan available. An added plus - the assistants and office staff are efficient and welcoming. It appears to me that they like being there which isn't always the case in dental and medical offices.

I was seen in this office 5 weeks ago for some of the worst teeth/jaw pain I've ever experienced,…read moreafter being hit in the face. My dentist referred me here after they weren't able to find any nerve issues, gum issues, cracked teeth, root canals, etc. After some X-rays and tests (the same tests my dentist did) were done, they couldn't find anything as well. With the amount of pain I was in, I asked if they had any recommendations for pain management as cycling Tylenol and ibuprofen was doing nothing. The joke of a person who calls himself a professional, Hamberlin, told me "I could recommend a psychiatrist". I paid this place to have one of their professionals basically tell me it was all in my head. 5 weeks later, pain is still there, and now my tooth is loose. Save yourself the money, go ANYWHERE else.

During the whole time I was checked on to make sure I was doing okay and everything was explained every step of the way so I not only knew what was going to be done but also what exactly to expect. Dr. David Ngo took his time to review everything with me and thoroughly explain what he saw and and the reason for his recommendations. He was able to answer any questions I had and never did I feel he was rushing to get to his next patient. Made me feel that he genuinely cares about his patients and my dental health. I will absolutely plan on coming back for years to come. By far the best dental experience I've ever had!

We moved to Scottsdale about six or seven years ago. My wife did a ton of research before picking a…read moredentist and she chose S&L with Dr. David Ngo. I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. If you're looking for a truly professional dentist who gives five-star care and service, this is the place. Dr. David Ngo at S&L is the only one I would recommend without any hesitation.

This man is a magician among the dental visits I've had!!! Personality - Friendly, warm, intelligent, yet unlike many dentists he makes you feel respected, teaches you how things work and the problems you run into. He feels like a best friend. He Kind of makes you feel like a dental student, he the professor. Throughout he explains what he is doing and enjoys chatting with the patient and with his staff throughout the procedure. But best of all, he is magical in his ability to completely remove any and all pain, even the injections to kill the pain, very unusual I think! I know he knows what he is doing, is fast and efficient and feels like one of my friends. I have had three endodontic procedures done by him in the past year, and I never want another dentist to treat me. It's nice to have someone work on your gums and teeth who is so talented!!!
