I was referred here by another dentist and paid $205 at my appointment, which I was told covered the consultation. Later, the story changed and I began receiving bills for hundreds more, bringing the "exam" total to over $400. On top of that, the focus of the appointment was on accessing and disturbing existing crown work without offering a clear solution or path forward. It felt less like care and more like creating new problems to funnel me back into more treatment. The billing was not transparent, the explanations kept shifting, and I was left feeling harassed for money after already paying. I was refered to AZ Roots by my dentist for a root canal treatment, went in for a consulation, X Ray and CT imaging for my teeth, after all that done Dr. Molina came in and explained what needed to be done. i told her let me think about it and i will get back with her office, i went to pay my consulation fee which was around $207.00 after a month i received another bill on 10/28/24,11/19/24 and 12/19/2024. they tell you one things and after that they will start sending you statement after statement. the total consultation ended up $703.00 then they give a courtesy write off, then they threating you with collection and report you to the credit bureau. i wont recommend this practice at all, make sure how much you are paying before you go in for your consulation and also you wont receive a bill afterward. read more

The only challenge I had with my root canal was not being able to talk for 45 minutes during the procedure! That's pretty cool. I went to Doctor Molina because my dentist said that is the endodontist he would use and that she's in it for the right reasons. I loved her energy and manner and the care with which he treated me. Her assistant, Rachel, was a pleasure to interact with and Cherokee at the front desk has an infectious personality. The first time I saw Dr. Molina, we couldn't identify which tooth needed the root canal and so rather than just trying one in a trial and error mode Dr. Molina suggested that I return after the pain had focused. Dr. Brandi Molina took the best care of me. I was in need of 2 root canals. I came in her office with half of my face swollen from pus and infection. I was referred to Az Roots by Dr Rob Walker for a consultation for a possible root canal re-treatment on June 26 2023. They took me back for X-rays and sat me in the chair to wait on Brandi Molina for results. Brandi came in and proceeded to poke, tap and prodded on and around the tooth prior to giving me any results of the X-ray which caused excruciating pain to an already infected tooth. After I nearly jumped out of the chair she proceeded to tell me the tooth is not salvageable and must be extracted. Never ever had I experienced such a lack of professional care nor knowledge of what she was doing! Upon checking out I am given a bill of $150.00 for the torture and the X-Ray which I paid in full to only receive another Bill 3 months later! I have had quite a lot of work done by many different dental professionals over the last 38 years and this was by far the worst experience to date! read more

This man is a magician among the dental visits I've had!!! Personality - Friendly, warm, intelligent, yet unlike many dentists he makes you feel respected, teaches you how things work and the problems you run into. He feels like a best friend. He Kind of makes you feel like a dental student, he the professor. Throughout he explains what he is doing and enjoys chatting with the patient and with his staff throughout the procedure. But best of all, he is magical in his ability to completely remove any and all pain, even the injections to kill the pain, very unusual I think! I know he knows what he is doing, is fast and efficient and feels like one of my friends. I have had three endodontic procedures done by him in the past year, and I never want another dentist to treat me. I was referred to Dr. Molina when my dentist couldn't get me in for a root canal. She got me in the same day and stayed open past their closing time when my dentist wouldn't. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Grabol. I had a horrible experience with another endodontist and I was completely terrified when I walked into Dr. Grabol's office. He is very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and empathetic. He explained what he was going to do and why. He even explained why I had a bad result with someone else and what he would have done differently. I felt very reassured when it was time for the procedure. I have horrible TMJ and he did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. I think he's the only dentist I've seen in years who is so good with a needle, I felt zero pain during the numbing injections. I also think you can tell a great deal about how doctors talk to their staff--he's really amazingly polite and respectful. So far, I have great results from the procedure. I mean, root canals still suck, but Dr. Grabol made it as painless as possible. If I ever have to have another one (and I hope I don't), I'd come back. read more

I cant boast enough about how great Dr. Grasbow is. He specializes in root canals so this guy really knows what he's doing. I've always taken really good care of my teeth but my doctor said sometimes roots just randomly decide to die. With that being said, I was super nervous and super dreading the fact that I needed a root canal. The doctor was so caring and really quick and precise in his procedure. He numbs you and ensures that you're as comfortable as possible during the whole process. I did not feel a thing and It was over before I knew it. My dentist sent me here for a root canal as a referral. My dentist sent all my insurance paperwork so Grabow should know what to expect. I get there and am asked to pay $992 out of pocket. I make a face and go "ouch". I have had root canals in the past and have been only charged $375. Don't get me wrong-it was a good root canal up to this point. A few months later, I receive a bill for an additional $380. WHAT? I call and am told I was out-of-network. Shouldn't that been made clear before I paid? My conversation with someone there was, more or less, tough. So I have to pay $1372 for a procedure they billed as $1600 and about a thousand more than I should have. If I knew it was out-of-network, I would have gone somewhere else. Not happy. read more

OK, a root canal will never be a pleasant experience, but for me, Dr. Grabow made it as pleasant as possible. He took plenty of time to make sure my questions were answered, and that I was as comfortable as possible.
