It's been about 2-3 months since my wife…read moreand I were rear-ended, and dealing with the driver who was at fault and his insurance company was a nightmare. They were extremely difficult to get ahold of and would sometimes take 3-4 days just to respond to an email. It took them almost 1.5 months to just let us shop around for a shop to repair. Our rear bumper was cracked, and after finally getting a response from the insurance company, they sent us a $1,000 check to cover the repairs. Unfortunately, after shopping around, I quickly realized that $1,000 wasn't nearly enough to get the job done properly. That's when I reached out to Roland Auto Collision. The owner was extremely helpful and made the whole process easy. James the owner and his crew also found that the frame was damaged also. He told me to simply bring the car in, provide the accident policy number, and they would handle the rest directly with the insurance company once the repairs were completed. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Roland Auto Collision took the stress out of both the repairs and dealing with the insurance company. They were professional, helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of. Roland Auto Collision is hands down the place to go if you need collision repairs or help dealing with insurance! A++ all around. Highly recommend!

I was then referred to David Mai at Solo Motorsport by a relative. He tested it for a day. Found a coolant reservoir was bone dry. Cleaned it and filled it up. The AC is now blasting cold air just in time for the summer, and the strange noise was gone. All for $150. Thanks David. You got a customer for life. John

Gave me some decent advice…read more In terms of the diagnosis on what needed to be done on the car, they spotted some issues I wasn't aware of and that was helpful. The issue here was what I was quoted for on repairs. Extremely expensive... for example my A/C was not working as there was a leak in the condenser. They quoted me $849.35 to repair the A/C, replace condenser, relay, and charge air conditioning system. I fixed the A/C for less than $80... bought a condenser for $25 and the charge for the A/C for less than like $15 and i was able to replace the condenser in less than 3 hours... They never worked on my car so I can't speak on what they are capable of but in terms of trust. I would be careful and get second opinions.

I dropped my 2019 Audi off early in the afternoon to have my front grill replaced with an upgraded version. Upon arrival Nicholas explained the cost and process to me. I was massively disappointed with this body shop. My car was estimated to take only a week to…read morecomplete the work, but ended up taking 7 weeks. I don't think the length of time was justified, based upon all of the excuses they offered along the way. In the end, I was stuck with a $1,600 rental car bill. They operated like they were a brand new company that was new to the auto repair business, which is why I was shocked. Their communication was terrible, which made matters only worse. Every week they said it would be finished, and every week they had a new excuse about why it wasn't ready. The first week they wouldn't even inspect the car to provide an estimate, even though I immediately signed their authorization and release form on day 1. Here are some of the excuses they offered along the way: - their vendor didn't show up to do the work - they found something new that needed to be fixed (this was a common excuse) - they had to wait for parts to arrive, or for openings on vendors' schedules - they ordered the wrong part - they don't make any money on Volvos because the margins are so low (this was my favorite) - the status report they provided was for the wrong vehicle - the work wasn't performed properly and had to be redone If they had told me that it would take 6-7 weeks to complete the work, I would have simply taken it to another body shop. A body shop is a business of project management. Each car is a project; it's as simple as that. This business doesn't have a clue about how to manage the project and, frankly, I am appalled that they are still in business. One big mistake and some small mistakes here and there is to be expected, but a complete cluster-fornicate is nothing short of appalling. It's also just as important, perhaps more important, how you handle mistakes, rather than if you make any.

That was a pleasant surprise. I have a warranty through CarMax and Franky's was listed as an authorized mechanic service through RepairPal. Dropping the vehicle off was easy, the communication was great, they always called with updates or picked up the phone if I called them. The repairs were great, no complaints. My gripe is that they had the vehicle 10 days because they originally ordered the wrong parts, the gentleman on the phone made a comment that they weren't aware that my SUV had an advance technology package. They should have known this by the VIN, all I had to do was Google my VIN and the first result told me the specs of my specific vehicle. Having to wait an extra week was annoying, but I can't even say for sure the MaxCare warranty dept didn't make the mistake, so I'll forgive it. Aside from that, everything else went smoothly and I didn't feel like I was being mislead or taken advantage of.
