TERRY OLIVER IS CRIMINALLY DISHONEST, based on his activities included herein! My experience shows this and my opinion stands! Terry has had pay us for the damages: which, in my opinion is a suggestion of guilt! Where do we start: besides having our brand new construction home damaged (new engineered wooden floors and chunks taken out of the trim), the unethical manner in which we were dealt with, tops this in my list of most disgusting experiences ever. When we withheld payment, while waiting for them to resolve the damages, Terry, the owner, threatened us in every way possible and then attempted to coerce us into signing a "gag" term in a letter, to not publicly post about our experience. I am dumbstruck that Terry Oliver would lack such integrity and allow his non employees/ random contractors to destroy our house and then use every delay tactic possible to NOT pay for these repairs, and then threaten us and attempt to force us to keep quiet, about this torrid experience. My wife and I moved and contacted Apache Moving and Storage, the people on the phone who book the moving were very professional and did indeed get dates, times, and addresses correct. On our date to move Dustin and Brent showed up to move us. We have a three bedroom house with everything to move. Dustin and Brent were always very professional and courteous. They hit the doorway running and never stopped til the complete move was done. Dustin and Brent were always communicating and always caring about my furniture making sure not to scratch anything. They used blankets where needed and even where I did'nt think they were needed. They treated my furniture just like it was there furniture, they cared. My wife and I have moved 24 times in our 42 year marriage, we have used many moving companies and Apache Moving and Storage and Dustin and Brent are the VERY BEST. I wish there were 10 stars to give them. One thing I know from my old age is respect is earned, not given. Dustin and Brent are the best movers my family have ever come accross. I asked Dustin if he was the best and he said" Apache Moving only have the best working for them, we all care about how your belongings get there, all of us do". I feel if you are moving you better do yourself a favor and hire the best, that would be Apache Moving and Storage and get one of the best movers to move your belongings. I overheard Brent say he loved moving people and that was going to be all he ever does. People like Dustin and Brent who move others people furniture really care. I am so grateful I made that phone call to Apache for my moving. I moved on March 2nd, 2020, so after a month of slowly unpacking, I finally have time to review. My very first Yelp review ever! (User since 2008, I believe.) First, Ana at the office was friendly and helpful as I have never hired movers before (I'm getting too old) and she walked me through and got me set up in no time. Second, the moving trailer was MASSIVE! I was actually worried that we wouldn't be able to fit everything in one load, but the guys were very efficient with the loading and Tetris packing that there was still plenty room left. We did it at ALL in one load! Which brings me to my next point - the movers: Victor & Nelz were awesome. Moving is f*cking stressful for anyone but these two were professional yet hilarious. Victor, as the team lead, was a champ with his professionalism and courteousness; he was very reassuring. Victor & Nelz were speedy and really worked well with each other; at times they seemed almost like they were communicating telepathically as they quickly lifted and moved 2 ton objects - all while occasionally cutting up with each other which really vibed well with me. They really helped lighten the mood & ease the tension my family and I were suffering because of all the drama that surrounds buying a house, packing and uprooting in such short time. If there was one thing I would do differently, it would be what one of the other reviewers recommended, which is going with 3 movers to allow for someone to play Tetris with the stuff on the truck. Regardless, it still worked out. Moving sucks! But Victor & Nelz made it not suck so much. They do this for a living and it reminded me that my attitude about moving didn't have to take it with such burdensome dread but as a new chapter. No one likes to move, especially if it's unexpected and not planned So to say the least I was highly stressed the f*k OUT!!! If I have to say anything positive about this move I'm totally grateful for my bestie NIA BONDS, James, and Anthony @ Apache Movers!!! When James and Anthony showed up at the door I have to be honest I had my doubts, because they are sooo young. But they proved age ain't nothing but a number right from the courtesy call letting me know they were on their way. Both were very professional, and remembered what to haul off on the truck and what not too. As the move carried on I started to find items I totally forgot I had and hated to tell them I actually had more James totally made me feel it was not a problem! I loved that I was being charged hourly, because in this situation I would have paid all I had to get the "BEEP" out of there!!! Towards the end of the move, me having mix feelings of YES I'm outta there and GEEZ I'm tired as hell, I looked up and saw James smiling at his co-worker and they had such a "Whistle while you work" attitude. I hate moving and the thought of gosh this has to be the hardest and physical job ever, these two were living in the moment, looking forward to tonight, and getting up and doing it all over again. I really appreciated their positive attitude, focus, professionalism, quickness, and the fact they didn't break any of my sh*t...LOL!!! Great workers Apache!!! They truly represented the company well. I hope Apache has a program to help build skill sets such as management, operations, etc. for great young workers such as these because they have everything in them to be greater they just need someone or a company to guide them. Put it this way, I've used Apache twice now, once for moving and storage and had an amazing experience ... so amazing I planned my next move around their schedule. The instant call/consultation was amazing, it put me at ease to know I was on the path to settling the moving portion of the process. I was given many options based on my inventory ... hourly, or a flat rate. Both times I chose flat rate and was not charged one cent over what was quoted. My movers were early, enthusiastic, SO fast and efficient. Careful and there was never any response other than "yes, ma'am or no ma'am." I tried to help where I could and they were so shocked. Donovyn (sp) and Elias told me no one has ever helped by picking up a box or lifting a finger. I fed them because it's the right thing to do when they are breaking their backs to help me. They were so incredibly grateful. It was over 100 degrees and they never once complained. All packing materials were removed from my furniture, the beds were assembled and they left the place as neat as a pin. I had to hire a different company in between Apache Moves and it was an unmitigated disaster. DO NOT hire anyone else. I was quoted 3 hours and 3 men. They sent two men in a small truck (even though I sent the inventory) so, they had to load up one truck, drive from Cedar Park to Leander with no toll tag so it took 45 minutes. Then unload, drive back to Cedar Park (45 minutes) where the third guy showed up, then finish loading and then back to Leander (45 minutes). They ended up charging me $1200. I can't begin to tell how happy I was with Apache Moving & Storage. Each and everyone I talked to were so very warm and friendly and most importantly helpful but you would expect that from a business wanting your business i.e. your money. This company's quote was lower than others and less complicated to get and they gave me a binding quote and in the end they were on the low side of their quote. I feel this company is very honest and trustworthy. That's extremely important and something you don't see much these days. The guys who loaded, moved and unloaded were beyond belief! Miguel, Justin, Eddie and James were just outstanding. Miguel and Justin packed and loaded and did it all in short order while treating my "little dab of junk" very carefully and respectfully. Eddie and James went above and beyond when they arrived at the storage unit. I had a huge problem with SmartStop Self Storage. It was getting late and they had to drive back to Austin and get up early the next day for work. They put their thinking caps on and helped me with options and ideas. They made phone calls trying to help me with my problem. When we finally came up with a solution they jumped right in and took care of everything. They were just wonderful!! Moving is a nightmare and very stressful. Apache Moving & Storage was there for me at every point. They relieved the stress and turned the nightmare into a very pleasant dream!! I cannot say enough amazing thing about my move with Apache. I had a very close friend pass away, unexpectedly, just days before my move was scheduled. I needed to get packed up and on the road as soon as I possibly could to be with my loved ones, when I explained my situation to the crew upon arrival, they were so incredibly understanding, empathetic, and friendly. And boy did they deliver in top notch service. Thomas and Mike were not only efficient and hardworking, but so incredibly sensitive and friendly to me. They talked with me on a level that made me feel so comfortable, like I wasn't just a job to them, and even provided some much need smiles that day. As far as their work ethic, WOW! I could really tell they put the utmost effort into getting my apartment loaded - I'm talking lugging 5-6 boxes at a time (I'm certain more than what would be done at another typical job), down 3 flights of stairs. Absolutely wonderful humans. Overall, the Apache team was communicative, on time, professional but so incredibly friendly and without a doubt the most reasonable quote I got for this type of service. Thomas and Mike are Tetris Masters! Everything was loaded perfectly and everything inside arrived in perfect condition. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the help I received. My mom hired Apache to move her from Leander to Dripping Springs. Rich, Jarod, and Fernando were assigned the job, and they were on the case from beginning to end. They arrived during the timeframe they promised, and they worked quickly and efficiently. I personally engaged them in conversation from time to time, and I found that they were also very friendly. We encountered a pretty significant issue once we got to the house in Dripping Springs - we were locked out of the new house. The guys did everything they could think of to get in, to no avail. We ended up having to wait in the driveway for about an hour until my sister was able to get there with a house key. Once we were in, the guys "kicked it into high gear" and got everything in the house very quickly, while still being very careful with my mom's stuff. A miscommunication between my mom and the scheduler meant that after they were finished unloading all of her stuff, they had to turn around and backtrack to north Austin to drop off 2 large, heavy, and cumbersome items at my apartment. During and despite all of this, these 3 guys were nothing but fantastic. Professional yet laid-back, efficient yet personable. Based on the day spent with these men, I would highly recommend Apache to anyone looking for a great moving company. I enjoyed my time with them, and we got my mom moved to boot! I first contacted Apache as a bid comparison to other movers. Apache came in about 20% lower than what other moving companies were quoting me at. On the day of the move Austin and Mario showed up an hour early and began to work right away. I had them break down some beds and large furniture and we had boxes ready. We had to leave for a few hours to sign papers for the close of our new house. When we returned Austin and Mario had their entire truck filled and were ready to go. They worked very hard and had completed the pack before we had anticipated on moving out. This gave us more time to go over last minute problems. The only complaint I had was their trailer was a bit small. But I think that was my fault since they brought equipment necessary for the items I quoted. I think that Mario had counted some 80 extra boxes. I did do my quote when I guessed how many we would have. The more accurate your count is, the better you will get. I was also pleased with how well Austin and Mario worked. We had some heavy weight items that would have been a 3 man job for any other company. These two guys got it done! It was hot and they didnt complain or ask any questions. It was always Yes Sir and Yes Ma'am from them. By the end of the move they were still positive attitudes and great to be around. We had John, Scott, and James move us from San Marcos to Elgin and we had a tremendous amount of stuff, we were moving from a 4 bedroom house with a full garage. We had a late start, but that was because I didn't do a very accurate job with the inventory (oops!) John was awesome when going over the paperwork and inventory with me and offered multiple solutions to the problem of not everything possibly fitting in the trailer, it did however. So they got started packing around 1030-11 ish and WOW they move fast!!! They wrapped every single item and were as gentle as could be with our belongings. I was especially appreciative of how clean and tidy they were when working, they didn't leave any trash behind. So we left San Marcos around 5pm and ended up at our new place around 630ish...those guys stayed until after 10 pm, making sure everything was inside and where we wanted. They were extremely helpful with the furniture...I couldn't decide where I wanted the couch. My family and I were exhausted and just ready to crash and I know they were too, but they stayed and put our beds together and made sure we were 100% happy with everything before they left. I can not thank these guys enough for a wonderful, stress free move. I'm an Army brat and have moved a dozen times in my life, I would hire things guys for each and every move. read more

I was blown away by Justin and Jason with Apache on Sunday. My mother has a roll-top desk, over 100 years old and a family heirloom, that she has really been wanting to have moved into her bedroom. It is too big to fit through the door to her room, so it has been sitting in the living room. She knew it could be taken apart, but she didn't want to attempt that herself, and I was definitely no help. Enter Justin and Jason. They took the top off the desk and tried to move it in, but it was still too big to fit. After looking at it some more, they realized one more piece could be taken off, so they did that. Unfortunately, it was still to big to fit through the door. They seemed about ready to admit defeat, but then they stepped back and realized that they only needed one inch. One inch...surely they could make that happen. So, genius, they took the door off AND they took the molding off the door frame! Seriously, they dismantled part of the door in order to get the desk through. I have never seen my mother so giddy about a piece of furniture. I was sure that there was no way it was going to happen and that she was going to have wasted her money on calling movers in just to move a desk that was clearly too big to fit through the door, but Justin and Jason proved me wrong! Best moving experience we've had, ever! My wife and I are veterans and have moved, many, many times, and from start to finish we felt like VIPs. The customer service provided by the entire staff was exemplary. Our point of contact from Apache Moving & Storage was Farah who was very professional and kind. Farah kept us informed and knew exactly what to expect and when. Our biggest compliment to Apache Moving & Storage was to send two of the most professional, courteous, and hardest working movers that we have ever dealt with; and that would be Adam and Jared. Adam was the lead, and was a true professional mover - explained the entire moving process and worked doggedly to make our move as seamless as possible. Jared, also a professional mover, was also very professional, courteous, and a very hard worker. The day was long and hard, never a complaint or even breaks! Adam and Jared, reminded us of the Energizer Bunny - kept on plugging away up until the end. They were very careful with our belongings and provided excellent storage advice. Our day was very long - 9:00 am to 7:30 pm - Austin to Tyler (4:30 hour drive), but theirs was grueling - pretty sure they did not get back to Austin until after midnight. Man, man, man. I was in an bind. On Saturday, two so-called "movers" showed up at my door supposedly to help me move after I scheduled and paid for it a few weeks earlier. These idiots started asking me questions for which I thought they were only creating conversation. Questions like "How long have you lived here?", "Where are you from?", "Where's the rest of your family?". I find out that they were re-qualifying me to determine if I was a potential "Ebola Threat." I haven't lived in Arlington, Texas for almost two years. They packed their hand carts into their compact sedan and left me stranded with my rented U-Haul. I called Apache Moving and Storage right before they closed and was signed up for next day moving. They sent out James and Barrrett around noon and the job was done in two hours. These guys saved my weekend. I only had a small window of opportunity to get this job done before starting my work week again. They were fast, strong, methodical, and careful. They worked great as a team. I couldn't thank them enough. I'm still undecided about which cost me more--dealing with those idiots, or paying $190 for excellent service from Apache. If I would have known better, I would've hired Apache first. Don't go cheap or you might end up paying more. Thanks Apache. read more

We were doing a close proximity move in Cedar Park. I called a number of moving companies who couldn't meet our timeline. I called Apache Moving and was greeted pleasantly by a name I can't remember. I explained what I needed moved and was provided two options, fixed rate (which I was told would be more expensive) and an hourly rate (because it was a short turn around). I went with the hourly rate which worked out perfect. Dustin and Eddie moved everything in as little as 4.5 hours which was less than I had expected. They hustled the entire time but took care to not rough up our stuff and never hit a wall or door with our furniture. The doors were covered with movers blankets and each piece of furniture was covered when put in the trailer. I really appreciated that they took such care to ensure our stuff was protected. Apache is a very impressive moving company. They have great communication, they were able to meet our schedule with extremely short notice and flexible enough to adjust the schedule based on our changes. I was extremely impressed with the service and the cost for doing the move. I would highly recommend if you need to move, call Apache Moving and Storage first. I don't think you'll regret it. This is the first time I've ever written a review about anything but felt I had to in this case after reading so much negativity on the internet about different moving companies (fortunately not so much about this one). Terry arrived and did a walk through and itemized all that we wanted them to move. He said anything added during the move would of course be an addition charge, anything they had to use a tool on would be an additional charge, more than the one planed delivery stop would be an additional charge. In other words, he quoted what I asked for and informed me upfront that there would be other charges if "my" plans changed and he broke down what those charges would be. The two man crew arrived on time, worked well as a team and were very courteous. They worked almost non-stop and did everything they could to make sure nothing was damaged. I'm in my 60's, somewhat of a perfectionist and most likely set in my ways and I use my age to say what every the hell I want to people (age does have some privileges). So I can honestly tell you, while moving was a royal pain in the butt, Apache Moving has been the bright side of this whole ordeal. I originally wanted to use a different moving company because of their Yelp user rating. They were busy the day that I needed to move, so I asked for a recommendation. They said Apache Moving and Storage and I'm glad they did. The man on the phone was professional, polite and courteous. I decided to move with their hourly rate instead of their itemized option (definitely the way to go). I had two pick up addresses and two drop off addresses. There was a two hour minimum (not an issue for me). They had a start time window of 12-1pm. Vic (driver) and Tim (helper) showed up at 11:50am ready to go. They moved very fast but were extremely careful and gentle with my things. Each and every piece of furniture they put in the truck was covered by a blanket and nestled gently together. They were professional and friendly, while still being laid back and funny the whole time. I was extremely impressed with their quality and speed of service. Including drive time, they finished everything in 1 hour and 50 minutes (10 minutes to spare on the minimum)! It was an awesome experience. I will never move myself again.
