I was moving from a high rise apartment in downtown. You have to book service elevator time there. I booked movers for slot between 12 and 3pm. They came at 5pm. So we had to use the normal elevator, everything took double time. Of course they charged me for the extra time. I was supposed to have 3 movers, only 2 came and one of them was injured so he was only carrying smaller items and dropping a lot on the floor. They chipped my furniture and made marks on my walls in the new house. They left some items in the apartment so I had to go back and get them myself. Avoid at all cost. read more

We moved from South Austin to Pflugerville, and after many offers by different movers, we decided to use Apache, due to their personalized attention. We gave them a list of everything we wanted them to move. They gave us a quote for the cost, including a additional stop to drop off furniture at a relatives house. We were able to except their cost, as it was very reasonable. The movers arrived almost on time, even though they were coming through traffic to south Austin from Leander. There were two movers that helped us with our move, and unfortunately I don't remember their names. Both were very professional and accommodating and everything that we asked them. They were careful with the things that they moved, and they were able to keep both places from being damaged by the furniture even though the house we were moving out was a two story. No damage was done in the stairs. We plan to use Apache for any further moving that we do because of their quality of professional movers and their reasonable prices. read more

My experience with them was awesome from beginning to end! My first contact, Brent was so nice and helpful, understanding of my change in schedule, and was able to schedule me for the day I needed to move. Christy helped me with the payments and was very nice and helpful! Josh and Chris came to my home to help us move and were very prompt, efficient, and so friendly! I will use Apache again and recommend anyone who asks! read more

Thanks for the A-1 service. They was able to squeeze me in last long minute. Prices are reasonable and crews are friendly. Actually used this company twice. Will use in the future read more

Apache moving were fast and strong! Everything was yes ma'am, no ma'am...they took my bed apart and re-assembled it in my new place. Great move, great guys and Josh wasn't bad on the eyes . read more

Adam R and Caleb were GREAT! They were recommended by a co workers and I just recommended them to a coworker today. Kept in great contact, answered questions via email quickly. I was very happy with the way our items arrived to our new home! Use this company! read more

Cameron C and Jose were great! Moving is always stressful and these guys came by and made it painless... they were quick but not reckless. My move was 4 days ago and the fact that I'm still taking the time to write a review is because they made it such a good experience. Professional and courteous... what more could you want??? I'd definitely use them in the future and will be recommending them to others. read more

I moved from NC to Austin using a POD. I quickly found out that most of the apartment complexes I was looking at, including the one I ended moving into, do not accommodate PODs because the company requires you to keep it for 24hrs. I had to hire movers to unload the POD then drive it to my apartment. The guys did a great job getting everything unloaded and put in the truck quickly. They were very efficient moving my furniture into my new place. I only am giving 4 stars because both workers were on their phones the entire time they were working. I also noticed some damage to one of my covered chairs that was not there when unloading the POD. Although they were efficient, I wish they had been more careful with my belongings. Would still recommend then for hire. read more

I hate moving but Cameron and his crew made my move fast, fun and enjoyable. Thank you for the great service and care.

These guys were very happy to take my deposit money during a pandemic because my flight was changed by the airline and they couldn't switch the date of my move. Way to go guys. read more

I have moved twice in 5 years, and used Apache both times. Come to think of it, I may have a review for the first move... These guys are great though! The hustle is amazing for guys getting paid by the hour. I am third floor and moved in July- and they were still nice. I got multiple quotes and this was the best financial choice as well. read more

I sent an email regarding damage. I wrongly assumed it would be dealt with honorably and not pushed off to comply with claims via regulatory bullshit. But they wasted no time in repeated calls to get my business. Apache will not get my repeated business nor recommendations. read more

I have used Apache numerous times because of the service and reliability and I'm extremely picky because I have an older upright piano and these folks are extra careful moving furniture like this. My most recent move was out of town (60 miles one way) and the 2 movers sent out (can't read the names on receipt) were on time, fast, professional, and handled my items very carefully. The entire move from beginning to end was less than 3 hours! I HIGHLY recommend Apache, but ONLY if you want your move to go right! read more

Amazing movers and company to work with! They helped move my daughter when I couldn't because of a surgery. Would highly recommend

Josh and Logan rock! They knocked out my move in less than two hours. Well worth the money. I use them personally and refer them to clients. read more

Great moving company. Arrived on time. Efficient. Packed us up and moved us across town in a timely manner. Great customer service. No damage. Would use them again. Highly recommend them. Three nice young men. read more

Polite, punctual, and affordable, but were not careful with our furniture. They threw our bedding on the floor in a random place and put extra nicks and cracks in our furniture. If I had nicer furniture, I would be more upset. But I guess since we already had a few dings they thought we wouldn't mind? I've had a few other movers in the that were way more careful (even with old furniture). Not a terrible experience, but I wouldn't recommend them either. read more

Great dudes, very efficient. Hired them for a 1b apartment move and they finished in a very reasonable amount of time. I had a couple issues with the apartment I was moving to that required some last minute scheduling changes but their customer service made the process super easy. Price was also much better than any other company I was able to find in this area. Will definitely hire them again for our next move! read more

Victor and Timothy moved me 150 miles on a really hot day in July and did a fabulous job. They were on time, nice and worked efficiently without damaging any of my furniture. When we got to my new place, they arranged everything exactly the way I wanted it, put all the boxes in the right rooms, and they even helped my dad take the door off a room in my apartment and then re-hung it for me, so that we could get the dryer in. Their flat-rate price was the best one I was quoted, and that's exactly what I was charged. I couldn't have made a better choice. read more

A move is stressful enough that you don't need stress with the movers! Here's all that went wrong with the Apache Moving 1. There is a difference between an estimate and a quote. A moving company should not say they are sending a fixed price quote after doing a in person inspection and then when the movers show up they say that they gave only an estimate and it looks like there is a lot more stuff and its going to take probably 50 boxes instead of 30 and they are going to charge you for extra boxes. Is it so hard to not mislead people and not call it a fixed price quote and say it's ONLY an estimate? Fortunately the total number of boxes was not 50 but it was an unpleasant start. 2. Insurance - People don't want to risk a $1500 tv moved uninsured. I asked and I was told everything was insured. Apparently everything is insured by pound. So if my TV had gotten damaged - I would have got $60 for it. Is it so hard to tell customers that expensive electronics are insured by weight, I was told this once the move started. Then given a quote of $150 to insure a $1500 tv and advised to call my insurance company. I was on the phone calling farmers on Saturday trying to get insurance. Insured! Really? Insurance of 60 cents for a pound isn't really insurance. Couldn't they tell me before? 3. They did the inventory themselves in person - we didn't submit it to them. We told them everything in the house will go - then during the move , why would a mover charge me extra for misc. stuff that cannot be boxed? It was not a big amount but really for brooms and a small Basil plant ? It's not right for sales people to underestimate and then charge people at the last minute. Good companies don't do that. What went well - the guys who came were friendly and took care when taking stuff down from our apartment to our new house. read more

I shave used this company 4 time and never had an issue! They are reasonably priced and reliable, professional, and handle your stuff as if it was their own! read more

In response this is 100% a lie about a week after the move we called and informed you or whatever manager was on call and informed y'all of the missing box and wrench and the employees in fact told us to assist them so it got done faster and would tell my fiancé to assist moving the couch and lift the table to make it easier, I totally understand taking water breaks I want the best and hope for nothing bad of the workers but there was no communication when traveling 2min down the road to the new apartment that they were going to stop somewhere that lasted around 30min and who is to say they didn't go and look though our things and take our stuff now that we know at least one box is missing, we as well we're not told to write on the boxes where they were suppose to go. Like i have said before this company needs better communication and honesty we called multiple times to I form you of the missing items. read more

My daughter Marcye hired this company for moving services and very well pleased. Victor and Shawn were amazing and handled everything with the highest level of professionalism and care for our belongings. Reasonably priced and I highly recommend for your moving needs. read more

Update: Apache representative called me Tuesday I believe his name was Jerry. Probably one of the most unprofessional and argumentative people I've ever spoken to. He offered to pay for the bookcase that was stolen if I removed the review. At one point he was yelling at me that I needed to read things before I sign them. I believe what he was referring to is the paragraph on contract that you sign once your property has been moved and you sign saying you have received everything. When you have a garage and house full of boxes and furniture it's impossible to do an inventory on the spot and make sure each and every item have been moved. I did nothing wrong. I paid Apache a significant amount of money to move my belongings from point a to point b and because an item is missing i was yelled at by Jerry their representative. He tried his best to intimidate me but was unsuccessful. Just another reason I will never recommend this company to any of my clients or friends. read more

The experience with the movers was horrible. The two guys that packed my things and moved them were great. The two guys that delivered my stuff were very late, offensive and just rude. One of the movers actually threatened me. Many irreplaceable things were broken, thrown around and just basically mishandled. I would never recommend this company and honestly I am considering legal action. 636 dollars to move a 437 SF apt 6 miles. Do your research before hiring these guys. read more

Our originally scheduled movers (name will be left unmentioned) tried to switch our schedule around the day before our move... SOOO we had no choice but to look for a more dependable moving company at the last minute (we had a tight itinerary). My hero of a wife tried calling 14 other moving companies and lucky number 15 was Apache. Not only were they able to squeeze us in on our original moving day but they even got there a little earlier which was a plus for us! Then, the cherry on top was the amazing gentlemen that were assigned to our move, ADAM and JARED! Extremely accommodating, respectful, friendly, and hard working! My wife and I have moved quite a bit and commissioned our fair share of movers and "The Colorado Boys" are by far the best movers we have ever had the pleasure of working with. So if you're looking for great service and reasonable pricing, PLEASE look no further than Apache Moving. And if you want an exceptional experience, ask for "The Colorado Boys"! Adam and Jared will not disappoint! read more

This is the first time I've hired movers and it was a great experience. We did a residential move and the billing was a simple hourly rate. I was in complete control of how long they were there. At no time were the movers being reckless with the time. They were literally running back to the house after securing each item in their trailer. They moved far faster than I expected them to. They disassembled the furniture and reassembled it perfectly. They took care never to "scoot" items across our floor and would only lift, then move. They protected our door ways with blankets and plastic wrap to make sure they didn't damage it. They put down a red carpet to prevent the dolly from leaving marks on the floor. They wrapped our furniture in plastic wrap and blankets and secured them with straps to the walls of their trailer. They didn't stop to eat, drink, socialize, break, rest or take a phone call. They arrived exactly when they said they would and called when they were 10 minutes out. They were considerate in the placement of their truck so as to minimize disruption of my neighbors and even used traffic cones. They also sprayed themselves down body spray to not leave odors (an odd thing to do but makes complete sense given that it was 104 degrees). They wore masks when they met me and offered to complete the move with them on (I told them they didn't need to do it). I've never had movers before, but I do believe the bar was set very high. Nothing was damaged in either house nor were any of my things damaged. They did this job dramatically better and faster than I was planning on doing it. The money was well spent and I would make the same decision 100 times over. James, Ryan and Chris... way to go, guys. read more

Scott and Brice were a godsend! They went above and beyond the call of duty! They were fast, efficient and SO FRIENDLY! I never had a doubt that our belongings were safe on the truck and delivered in perfect condition. Scott was easy to work with regarding items I needed moved that I had forgotten to mention for a quote. Pricing was by far the best quote out of all the places I called. Brent, who scheduled me was phenomenal, fair, and dealt well with my moving stress and anxiety!! I would recommend Apache for any moving job!! read more

Joshua was WONDERFUL. He's young, yet exceptionally professional in demeanor and language. He and his partner were extremely efficient, even though I was on the tail end of their shift. I had trouble with the plumbing at the place I was leaving, and Josh pointed it out to me, thankfully! At my new place, he set up my washer/dryer, and grabbed some plumber's tape to make sure it was secure. The entire time, he had a positive and helpful attitude. I honestly could not have had a better person run my move. read more

10/10 would highly recommend. Moved a one bedroom apartment from a high rise to a two bedroom apartment across town. The entire move only took an hour and half. I would highly highly recommend not using Apache. They treat their customers awfully. The movers demanded that I give them my key fob when moving me out and failed to give me the key fob back at the end of the move. I asked them to mail me the key so I didn't get a large charge from my old place and they sent it to the wrong address. Then, on top of all that they told me that there was nothing else they could do once they sent it to the wrong address and that I was just going to have to pay for the key fob myself, despite the whole mess being THEIR fault. Stay away from these guys, they don't give a damn about their customers Response: The movers asked to borrow my key fob, when people borrow something typically it's incumbent upon them to return it. The reason I waited is because I was told that the movers would drive down and return the keys to me. After nearly two weeks of waiting and not getting the keys returned to me I suggested that the keys be mailed to me in hopes of that being more convenient for Apache. Apache mailed them to the wrong address. I was told a few days ago when I called in that Apache did not not know when or if the keys would be sent back. I was also told that if they do not get returned back then there is nothing Apache could do to fix the situation or help with the fact that I would be charged. In either instance, it doesn't matter because the $100 charge that I have to pay as a result has already been applied. I don't mean to shame anyone, but I hope you can see how as a customer who has to pay $100 as a result of the situation how it would be frustrating. read more

James and Chuck were my movers and I can not say enough wonderful things about these two young men. They were extremely professional, and took the utmost care of my belongings as if they were their own things. They made my moving experience way above average than any other move I have done in the past. The only reason I am not giving the company itself a full five star review is due to the office. When I originally got the quote and put down my deposit later, there was not clear communication on the deposit being nonrefundable. I was not planning that into my budget, so it was a hurdle to work around. Other than that I am very happy with the service. Thank you James and Chuck :-) Tammy L. Georgetown read more

These guys are so inept at their job. I suggest you not use their services. The guys showed up on time however when the lead guy was busy the other worker just stood and watched. This turned out to be very costly, The lead guy started taking apart the bed frame, but was struggling saying he had to borrow some tools from another worker so he did have the right tools. After awhile I started timing him. It took him 40 minutes to take the bed frame apart. That was only the beginning as then the TV stand was a problem. Bottom line it doubled the quote of $200 to $400. I called the scheduling foreman and explained this situation and he said he would get back to me. After a month he has not returned my calls or replied. Don't take a chance with your money with these losers. read more

I appreciated that the movers were quick and efficient. I was also happy to see that my quoted price was exactly what I ended up paying. Awful experience. Moving is one of the most stressful life events you can have. Apache made it more stressful, not less. Customer service was not just absent, but confrontational. They had a second job planned that afternoon so wanted to leave and return the next day to finish. Seriously. I was so deflated that I couldn't muster the energy to make a claim for the stuff that they damaged. With so many great movers in Austin there is no reason to use Apache. read more

I had a great experience with Apache Moving last weekend. Joshua & Bryce arrived on time, were extremely respectful, & were quick & careful with all of my belongings. They re-assembled my bed & kitchen table & helped arrange all my furniture in my new apartment before leaving. Nothing was damaged & the move took less time than expected. These guys were great & easy to work with as well as responsive to all my questions prior to the move. Would definitely recommend them or use them in the future! read more

Tried to get a quote from them, I requested a quote online & was then told to call or email JR regarding questions they had. Surely they should have called/emailed me? I did email JR who in turn asked me to take photos of some of the items I was moving. This would mean I needed to go back to my property & take the photos especially. I contacted 5 moving companies asking for quotes, they all got me back to me in a timely manner without requesting more work from me. Not the way to do business - they lost mine anyway! read more
