Hands down one of the best courier experiences I've ever had. I called Lucian late on a Thursday night with a crazy request needing a package picked up in Laredo, TX at 6am the next morning and delivered back to Austin ASAP during SXSW. He was so helpful, brainstorming and giving me every option he could think of- driving, flying, Greyhound drop-off, Airport drop-off. He researched flight options and sent me text updates as I was waiting for a decision to come from my team. We ended up with the fastest option (driving) and as promised, a driver was in Laredo at 6am, ready to pick up and drive the 4 hours back to Austin. I received text updates and GPS monitoring so I could follow the package all the way to the arrival. It was even delivered 3 hours ahead of when originally promised! They called me upon delivery to triple check that it should be delivered to the front desk of our team's hotel. I could not have been happier with the experience. 1 512 Deliver has restored my faith in humanity! Last night after experiencing one of my most stressful days ever, I called 512 Deliver to have a medication picked up at a pharmacy and delivered to a Memory care facility nearby (about 2 miles away) It was beyond urgent that my 91 year old Daddy get this medication last night and not today. As soon as I got on phone, my voice was faltering and tiny sobs were coming. The Gentleman from "512 Deliver" immediately started taking my info for the delivery, he helped me acquire the addresses, sent me "real time updates" (the driver drove from NEW BRAUNFELS to AUSTIN to do this 2 mile delivery) the Gentleman at 512 guided me on exactly what info he needed. As soon as that was done...he said "OK it's taken care of"...I said ty, but I never gave you my CCard...he said "it's on the house"...I protested but he never would allow me to pay and just just told me he hoped my Father would be ok. I went to the post office to mail a package to an Austin friend who's battling cancer. The lines were out the door so I decided to investigate courier service. I dialed 1-512-DELIVER but no one answered and I declined to leave a message because I needed fast service. The phone rang a few moments later; it was Lucian. I asked what he would charge to get a small package from north central to southwest Austin. The answer was more than I could afford so I thanked him and ended the call. Ten minutes later he called back and asked me what seemed like a reasonable rate. We made a deal for about what "next day" would have cost at the post office, perhaps less, and the package was delivered to my friend a few hours later. I've used a lot of courier services for my company over the years. I can honestly say 512 Deliver is absolutely the best courier service in the Austin area. In the last two months, I've had four extremely urgent deliveries I've needed taken to College Station from Austin, including one I called in at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. Each time, a driver has arrived promptly at the pick up location within about 30 minutes of my request and taken my items directly to College Station. Words cannot describe how appreciative I was of Lucian Nastase and his crew. I recently had back surgery and needed a prescription to be picked up at a downtown location. I knew I couldn't drive that far so I googled couriers and found this one to have exceptional ratings. Not only did they pick it immediately but also asked me if I would like for them to drop it off at my pharmacy so I wouldn't have to wait. I cannot tell you what that means when you are in pain. I needed an emergency copy of a signed Judgment from the Court, which the Court had not sent us. Being in Dallas with the Courthouse in Georgetown, it created quite a problem for us to get the copy of the Judgment in time for the deadline. Lucian was so helpful to us. We needed to transport a trailer for BACKPACKER Magazine from Austin to Fayetteville AR very quickly for our road Tour. It was a stressful situation and the trailer had many important and valuable items. Lucian made me feel immediately at ease, and even used humor to help calm the situation. 512 Deliver is an amazing service! They sent me a real time GPS tracking link of my delivery to my phone, which I forwarded the link to the receiver of my shipment. We could both see the actual arrival time and continuous location of my one-of-a-kind custom gown! Yesterday our company had a pallet that needed to be at a trade show that was left on the shipping dock of a freight company outside Austin. I called to get a quote for transporting some furniture I purchased from a private owner that lived about 50 miles away. The cost was going to be about as much as the furniture cost. I had a large rug that I needed to return to vendor. It was packaged and I had a return shipping label. I need the rug delivered to UPS. I called Lucian late one day, made an appointment for 2:00 the next day . He arrived at exactly 2:00. I gave him a self addressed envelope to mail me the shipping and tracking receipt from UPS. Excellent service! This service has all the bells and whistles! Our truck broke down while on a business trip -full of inventory and personal items. They went out and emptied it out (while we Skyped) telling them what was important and what was trash, then took our belongings to the shipper of our choice and made sure they were boxed up and sent safely to us!
