I did not use this company although I had planned to. Asked for a quote on a Wednesday. Received by Thursday. Indicated wanting to use them by Saturday. Monday was a holiday. Tuesday, was told they were checking on something. Wednesday, was told I'd get a call that afternoon. Never happened. Thursday, I found someone else. They may be fine to work with but I was already having doubts from the questions I was asked and then the lack of confirmation was a huge red flag. I have never used this company for shipping service and never will. I was rear ended by one of the drivers in the company Van at a Stop sign. The driver provided incorrect insurance information then later referred me to his manager Victor Richard. Since then, several attempts made by me Liberty Mutual, and Progressive Insurance agents to get the insurance information have been unsuccessful. I also informed them that my only means of Income at the moment is via driving for Lyft and Uber and I would appreciate it if they can furnish the Information quicker, however, this company does not seem to care how they treat people in general, kindly consider my experience before giving Dropoff Inc any business. Start up company promises last mile, last minute delivery. Unfortunately, this company promises unreal expectations to customers and complete tasks on point. As a previous driver for this company, have been sexually harassed, put into danger by prompt delivery that are impossible to achieve within the given time frame as well stolen my pay. Using the Dropoff app to schedule a delivery was super easy. I received text alerts when the pick up was completed and when the drop off was completed. I could even see the signature of the recipient in the Dropoff system to ensure it arrived to the person I intended. Love using DropOff for quick courier service within Austin. Any time I've had an issue, I've been able to contact their customer support and have my issue resolved quickly. They've also called me during peak hours to ask if they could delay service so their drivers wouldn't be terribly rushed. this company is a joke. they are the most unprofessional business i have ever encountered. i spoke with Michael SoandSo at the Oltorf office and he literally told me he wasn't listening to anything I had to say. I was a driver for this company with only 1 1/2 hours of training and was fired for making mistakes. Not only did i go into the hospital for a perforated esophagus, i had to undergo manyj tests and an endoscopy and was fired due to me falling ill. When i spoke to Michael today he was arrogant and unprofessional. I was calling to explain my situation when he told me he wasn't listening to a word i had to say. He did tell me that all i did was make mistakes and was taken off multiple accounts which is false. He deliberately made up issues and was talking to me as if I were nothing. When delivering for them they had horrible communication and no gate codes. Customers are not willing to trust Drop Off because of their unethical behavior and the drivers pay for it!!! If fyou have a package do not use their service!!! They will over charge you and file a wait time after you already communicated that you don't feel comfortable leaving a gate code. Also, I know for a fact that their driver is stoned all the time and she does medical pick ups. She is their favorite employee. We use Dropoff for a number of our smaller lunch deliveries. The drivers are extremely nice and always courteous which is very important to us. Also, each driver wears a uniform and are very professional. Since most of our deliveries are either coming from the oven or out of the refrigerator, it really helps that each driver has an insulated bag for deliveries! I placed an order and didn't think about it again. We had to have a client's notebook picked up from another attorney's office and delivered to the mediation center in Houston in time for mediation on Monday. It's been a little over a year since I've been using Dropoff. Since my last review I have transferred locations. Still with the same company just at a different place. I was able to set up our partnership with Dropoff with my new location and they have been a God send. Truly! Because of them we have been able to take more orders and grow our business almost exponentially. Since I first started working with Dropoff there had been some changes in the office. David is now their Sales guy and he has been nothing but wonderful. He periodically checks in with us and even stops by for a visit. Ben is the area manager for Austin and has been very responsive also. The drivers that we have encountered have been professional and friendly. One driver that needs a shout out is Chip! He's been a life saver. He's taken last minute runs for us and he's had the misfortune of dealing with a very difficult client that I had. I love that we are able to track the drivers online in real time. This is huge and puts our mind at ease when we are able to track them to ensure our deliveries make it on time. Plus we get multiple email confirmations when our order has been accepted/assigned to a driver, when they pick it up and when it arrives. My interactions with the Dispatch team have been great also. When we get a call from Carlos we know that something is up. Usually it's because we've scheduled a TON of orders and he's checking in to see if we can piggy back runs. He's always so upbeat when I talk to him on the phone. When we I email the dispatch alias they always respond promptly. I couldn't' have asked for a better partnership with Dropoff. I've used lots of courier services over the years and Dropoff is by far my favorite. The drivers are neat, courteous, in uniform and friendly. They get my packages [big or small] where they need to go in a super speedy fashion. I love the web functionality - you can literally see on a map exactly where your package is at any moment! Also, the mobile version of their website works great and makes scheduling a breeze even when I'm not at my desk.
