Sean and Kohl did an amazing job. It was moving day helping my close friend and mentor Roger move to his new place. He and I spent days prior getting the bigger things ready and boxing the majority of the other items up for the movers today! They were a great choice for the job. Kohl and Sean where very courteous, experienced, and strong young men that definitely knew what they were doing! They took very good care of the furniture and made sure they knew where things went and put things in rightful place. They had the perfect truck and trailer for the job as well as dollies and moving wrap and all the necessary equipment needed for the job. They where more than prepared as well as efficient in getting the job done in a decent amount of time. I would highly recommend them and this company and plan to use Apache moving again in the future. Very satisfied customers. Ethan and Roger read more

Scheduling was a breeze. They called to confirm the night before our move and arrived on time as scheduled. The two men who moved our belongings were fast and efficient with no damage to our belongings. We had an itemized set of things to move at a predetermined price and it was honored with no haggling or drama. I strongly recommend. read more

I believe our movers were Chris and Mike. They were really quick and super helpful and nice! They moved everything with good care! Chris also helped me dissemble and reassemble my bed! Fair price for how far i moved and how much furniture and boxes. Plus a 20% discount!!! Book them! You will not regret it. Thanks Chris and Mike!!! read more

I've used Apache twice now for local moves. They were dependable, reasonably priced, professional and did a great job. Will use again.

Awesome service- very responsive during the quoting process and very professional. No hidden fees and excellent care taken with my antiques and baby grand. Huge shout out to Jason and Nando!! And thanks to Eddie and all his help planning for our move. read more

We didn't receive one piece of furniture undamaged or unscratched. Some things were old, but others were brand new, such as our bed from west elm, leather chair from pottery barn, vanity from west elm, and dresser (some wedding gifts). The fact of the matter is, our stuff wasn't cared for, and now our pristine furniture is ruined, and i am going to have to waste my time and money replacing or touching up stuff. It's very upsetting. When I complained, nothing was done. It didn't matter that things were put on their side and pushed against the concrete or that our mattress was literally kicked around. And it gets worse...the fixed price isn't fixed. They raised the price on me after the move, because my bed was "hard to disassemble" and there were extra little things i didn't inform them of in the initial quote...like a shoe rack...cmon. I reassembled the bed myself, and it wasn't that hard. They didn't even put anything in place in the apt. It all went into storage at the apt complex while we waited for our unit to open up, so that made their job, well, almost half the job. The price to pay to move my now damaged furniture from Austin to Houston was 1.2k. Definitely not worth it. read more

We have used Apache Moving and Storage to move our in office moves multiple times and each time we are pleased with the teams that are sent out. This last move we were blessed to get an amazing team, Jermaine and Mike L. They were quick, efficient, respectful and super friendly! We highly recommend them! read more

Your states are so far from the truth. That was my garage, which you move my things in there because the management messed up on when the apartment would be ready. The items that were damaged were damaged before I moved them up to my apartment and I have 2 witnesses that saw it and are willing to testify what they saw. I stated this to you and you pretty much laughed at me, I then and only then stated that I would be forced to write a bad review for the lack of responsibility your company takes, not for charging me extra to move it up stairs. read more

Our experience was very good. Octavius, Elias, and David were all very courteous and arrived on time. They moved everything with care and we could not have been more pleased with their attitudes. read more

Don't use any other moving company in Austin. Apache is the only one you'll ever need! I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Apache Moving over the weekend. I called for a last-minute, emergency move on Friday morning for a Saturday appointment. I had previously called about 10 other moving companies for quotes and they were either completely booked because it was so last-minute, or their quotes were insanely high to move a one-bedroom apartment. But I spoke with Melinda on the phone at Apache. She was able to slot me in for a move the following day, said movers would arrive anywhere from 12-3 PM, and quoted me at $95 per hour (best deal out there compared to all the other companies I called.) Email confirmation sent within minutes....honestly, I thought, "this is too good to be true, something is definitely going to go wrong tomorrow." But absolutely nothing went wrong at all... My movers, Mario and Chris showed up right on time! They pulled up to my place at exactly noon, came to assess what needed to be moved and started right away around 12:20 PM. They were both extremely nice and professional. They had all the tools needed to take apart my bed (which happened to be a bit tricky because the previous movers stripped one of the screws.) But this was no problem for Mario or Chris; they figured out a way to make it work. Each of them were extremely careful when handling my belongings, which definitely helped calm my nerves. The guys worked so hard for the two hours they were working.... and in 100 degree Texas heat, no less. Great staff at Apache; they should definitely be proud of their team. I have another move coming up in 6 months, and you better believe I'll be calling Apache again! read more

Mom moved 5-20 and I still have not heard back from Apache moving (despite the reply below) regarding Mom's bill. I am unsure how long it takes to determine how many boxes were used (I still have them stored at mom's) and if the "long walk" charge was billed to other clients moving into The Pointe at Cedar Park. I stand by my original review. read more

We used Apache Moving for our recent move into a 3 bedroom home, and it was an incredible experience. Rich, Fernando, and Jared were professional, thorough, and efficient, and not a moment was wasted. We were originally scheduled to move on a Thursday, and the coordinator, Joey, helped us move our date to the Monday before without any issues/ additional fees. The price was absolutely reasonable. None of our furniture was dinged, they reassembled the beds and furniture, and we were basically entirely moved in by the time they left. Highly recommend! read more

Adam and Jarod were fast and effeciant and were kind. I would recommed them to everyone. They will be moving me again in a month since they are so good. THE BEST MOVING COMPANY!!! read more

BEWARE!!! We hired Apache for a move from Cedar Park to Leander. Our move date was December 6, 2013 The first issue that raised my eyebrow was the quote Matt gave us was not what we actually paid. In fact, we paid almost $200.00 more because "he didn't check that you had this or that". But, the worst was yet to happen. Our entertainment center was dropped. The sides were scratched and there are marks on it. Wood is splitting out. I was told that it was dropped and that the mover responsible also does wood work (imagine that...my lucky day) and was willing to come the next day and GLUE it back on. I was told if I wanted it fixed through the company this would come out of the guys check. No guilt there. I contact Apache. I figure they would immediately remedy the situation. Not so. Apache handed me off to their wood guy. Someone who I had to repeatedly email before getting one response. He never called back, and didn't show up for two appointments he arranged with us. Finally, I contacted Apache again. After getting the run around I was told all they really had to pay was .10 per pound and they were willing to "go ahead and give me $60.00." That was not acceptable nor is it even the right thing to do. In March 2014, ( that's right, THREE months later) the owner of Apache decided to offer us the amount necessary to replace the most damaged piece. But. Only of we wrote a good Yelp. No, I'm not kidding. If we wrote a good Yelp, we'd get the $211.00 necessary to replace the most damaged piece. But, I would have to write it and show them then, trust them to pay for the piece. Now, they left moving blankets, ruined a four piece entertainment center, dragged this on for three months and we are expected to trust them? They wanted us to lie. That's not happening here. Apache did NOTHING to fix the damage they caused. Nothing! Be VERY careful reading these "glowing" Yelps! Apache has now shown themselves to be dishonest and in our close community of Leander/Cedar Park, that's not a reputation I want for my business or myself. So, we did not take them up on their offer. This is an honest Yelp. We still have a damaged entertainment center. We still have moving blankets. We've received ZERO apology from Apache. Not one person there said they'd do whatever it took to fix this. I would move myself next time rather than deal with a company like this. I have the pictures of the damage they caused and will post here if I'm able. I'm sure this won't be a recommended review. Of course not. Why would Terry the owner want that? I don't want a response telling me that you're sorry I feel this way. This is the truth. Apache is dishonest, the prices aren't guaranteed and the customer service is absent. read more

Ok, this company has 2 pros and 2 cons. The Pros 1.) They are inexpensive 2.) They are fast moves are generally done fairly quickly The Cons 1.) They are inexpensive 2.) They are very fast/careless. They will move stuff out so fast there is no care taken for you stuff. Im glad i took time to wrap my furniture prior to it being picked up. Even though that did not help much they still managed to dent, ding and scratch a few pieces, including putting a large scratch in the apartments vinyl wood floor with thier dolly. They also really didnt care to put any of our stuff where we wanted it instead wanted to dump everything in the apartment collect thier payment and leave. read more

After quoting 5-6 other places, I picked Apache as our movers based on the 1 Yelp review, and the lowest quote. We paid per/hour rather than per/item, and it was right around what they'd quoted us. Although they were really late (about 2 hours), once they finally arrived, they worked really hard to move us as quickly as possible. The two movers were really personable, and we enjoyed chatting them throughout the move. If only they had contacted us about the delay, or been on time in the first place. Then they'd have 5 stars. read more

Apache Moving has moved me 3 times since I have been in Austin. I have always been very happy with the experience. The movers are always polite, respectful of my belongings, and very professional. They have helped me remember little things, have offered to help reassemble furniture, and will do anything extra upon being asked. They are not fancy. The trucks are usually pretty old and have definitely seen their share of moves. But in my opinion, a shiny truck has zero effect on the success of a move. For the very reasonable rates they charge, I don't mind the no frills attitude. This last time the truck got lost on the way to my new place and the movers gave me an overly fair discount to make up for the lost time. They are always looking for that little extra, so I wasn't surprised. Would recommend them to anyone! read more

Worked with apache moving twice, no problems at all. As long as you plan correctly and know what you need moved, it is hassle-free. Had Eddie and Sammy the second time (forgot the names of the first movers), but they were all great. read more

These people have moved us 3 times! I want to mention, JAMES. I called to book my appointment and not only did I give him my CC info we ended up having an AMAZING talk. This James, was so quick, professional to the highest and kind. I am an Executive in the Construction Industry and I thought I'd like this kind of rare individual on my team. I offered him a job right there on spot and he says " Thank you for the opportunity but I am very LOYAL to the owners here at Apache!" His HONESTY, integrity and protection of his company is NOT seen anymore in this world! TO the Owners of Apache, DO NOT LET THIS KID GO! He will make you or himself Millions of dollars one day! This kid is ASTOUNDING! read more

very professional, kept me updated about the time, arrived on time, friendly and humble. will be using their service again when needed

We just hired Apache Moving as our first-ever movers, and couldn't have had a better experience. They cleaned out 2 large storage units in 2 hours, our house over the next 3 or so, and got it all driven (safely, as there were a lot of TVs and collectibles!) from Austin to McAllen the same day so we could get an early start unloading everything the next morning. The move-in was every bit as fast. I can't say enough thanks to Jayvion, Jalen, Andrew, Dustin, and Dillan :) read more

They were the best! Octavius and his team were so easy to work with. They arrived early and were super efficient. They went above and beyond and even helped me unload things from my car when they didn't have to. The team was super polite and I will for sure be using them for my next move. read more

The pre-move stuff from Apache was very good, and they rescheduled my move at short notice. Two movers came -- one was very mature and efficient, but the other was childish and moody and reluctant to follow instructions. They also broke something minor. That one mover really spoilt it. read more

We just moved with apache BIG MISTAKE got the quote Seemed reasonable based on the other 3 quotes we received Called back to ask if bed disassembly and reassemble was included In the quote and was told yes 1 of many deceptive answers Worst one was the day of our move they didn't show up They said yes your on the schedule but your not on the schedule .???? Asked to at least get our bed to us no response for hours Then oh sorry we're to busy . Had to sleep on the floor of our new home The day of the actual move was going down hill fast Added a lot of crap i did inform them of,flipped all our dressers upside down, left stuff we paid to move kicker is misplaced our power cord to our Big screen TV. I called to see if they could find it no response DON'T GO WITH APACHE read more

10/10 Would definitely recommend. The crew was awesome and did a great job. I will use their services again.

Sean, Jalen, and Adam are awesome! They helped me move some stuff today. They were fast, professional, and super nice! Thanks again!

Fast, efficient and extremely kind. Both movers were top notch seasoned vets. Worth every penny!

Terry came out and did a free inventory count. He was punctual and courteous and came up with a very accurate count. Scott, Tim, and Josh were our movers. They came on time and were courteous and polite from the get go. They were efficient and at the same time very careful with everything they moved. They took the extra time to ensure they put everything to our liking and checked with us to be sure we were happy with the job they did. I'd definitely would use them again and recommend them 100% of the time. Thanks again guys! read more

Only need movers to load a truck. Business was non-responsive and gave me a ridiculously overpriced quote to load some tubs on a truck.

Overall had a good moving experience with moving all my items into a storage unit. We didn't think everything would fit but somehow James and Dustin make it possible! They truly know what they are doing! The only reason I cannot rate 5 stars is because they were very late, mind you I did have an afternoon appointment and know that you can't really predict how long a job will take but if someone could have called me at my appointment time to tell me, that would have been nice. I had to call them to find out what time they were going to arrive. Now I need to move my stored items into my new home... :( read more

I had the worst experience with the movers who move my furniture and boxes to my new home. There was and older guy who had back problems and two others. The older man would tell the taller man to be careful with the boxes especially the ones marked fragile, he didn't listen and dropped boxes multiple times. He didn't put the boxes where I would ask him to put them. He was careless. He sat and ate his food and threw the trash on my yard. Mind you this is my first brand new home. The Hispanic man worked very hard and the older man. But this man was horrible. Lots of broken dishes, knickknacks. They were not able to fit a couple of pieces of furniture. I had to rent a Uhaul truck an moved the furniture myself and I am 70 years old. I called the owner but he did not offer any solution. read more

They moved me to Waco, flawlessly, economically and cheerfully. Highly recommend them.

These people were amazing. I called them last week once I knew the approximate date we were closing in our house and they were able to fit us in Sunday for the move. We chose to do the itemized just to see what it was and it was it was unbelievably affordable. I forgot a few items and they added it on for me at a cost that was still amazing. James and Kyle got everything loaded and unloaded in unbelievable time. If we move again, I'm totally hiring Apache! Do it, you won't regret it. read more

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect. We scheduled a move for Feb. 23rd and we were pleased to have Chris and Nathaniel as our movers that day. Excellent service. Quick response, showed up on schedule, reasonable rates. Richard and Mike have worked together a long time, and it shows. They were very careful with our stuff, worked steadily, and were unfailingly good-natured in spite of the heat. read more

I used Apache because, of all the movers I called, they quoted the best price for my move. I took off two stars because I had to be on top of them to find out the status of my move. They didn't call to confirm my appointment the day before as they said they would and they didn't call to let me know they were running an hour late due to a prior appointment being delayed. However, once the movers arrived, they quickly got to work and made very good time. The finished within the time they quoted me and took great care of my things and listened to my requests. For that, I added a star back. Thanks, John and Adam! read more

As a single Mom, moving is extra stressful but these guys were very nice, on time and in my budget range. Bottom line up front for those who just want a synopsis: Had a horrible experience with Apache moving. Contacted the owner in an attempt to get things rectified. He basically told me there was nothing he could do to help me. He then told me he would talk to the crew and call me back. It has been over 2 weeks and I never heard back from him. While I had some issues with the actual move, the unprofessionalism of the owner was definitely the worst. I wouldn't ever hire Apache Moving Services again. Details for those who wish to know more: I was given the choice of an hourly rate or a flat rate move. I chose the flat rate thinking that the move wouldn't be rushed since it wasn't being timed, etc. Hind sight being 20/20, it was admittedly my mistake though the options were not thoroughly described to me. The day started badly when the crew arrived with a trailer that was not big enough to handle the amount of items that needed to be moved (despite me telling the person scheduling my moves multiple times that I had two 10X25 storage units completely full.) Therefore, we had to make two trips to get the job accomplished - essentially wasting nearly an hour of my time. The driver/lead mover was nasty and wanted to do nothing but argue with me the entire day. The move was not conducted to my standard. There was nothing put down on my carpets to protect them and consequently, I now have multiple black marks to contend with. The movers put things in wrong places despite being told where they should have been placed. (Because I was outside directing the boxes as they came off the truck, I could not see what was happening in my house.) The real kicker was that the driver/lead mover, John, told me that when they are hired on the hourly rate, they work slower - in essence gouging their customers, taking additional time so that the customer has to pay more. When I told the owner, Terry, what was said, he said nothing to contradict that. In fact, he basically agreed with the statement. I was stunned. I could go on and on and if anyone wants all of the details, please let me know. The bottom line though is that I paid over $800 for a job that would have cost me less than $500 if I had hired under the hourly rate (and they worked at the same speed). I now have to hire someone else to come in and move heavy items to the right places, put things together, etc. so I will be out additional money. The owner of the company flat refused to either refund part of my money or send me two guys to finish the job. Poor customer service from the owner down (except for one person I spoke to on the phone who was as helpful as could be - thank you, Trevor and the assistant mover who worked his tail off and stayed out of the drama caused by the driver - thanks, Eddie! These two were the only redeeming qualities about this company but unfortunately not redeeming enough to hire them again.) read more
