High volume day with a cranky person, flat experience. I've seen both. I still say this is a good location due to it being hidden--the volume will be lower than other CPLs. But, that doesn't mean it will be low--just lower (if you hit a busy time). I'm increasing my stars because, with my increased visits, I'm finding friendlier phlebotomists.

Unhappy employees make for unhappy customers. I almost always have to take a specimen in 2 days in a row. There is no simple "drop off". You have to wait in line but it seems for EVERYBODY'S well-being, you should get out as fast as possible since the reason you're there is because you are sick and being kept in a small room with occasionally, several to many other sick people. When it's your turn They grill you, critique the amount of your specimen and ask for non-existent paperwork. I sent my husband in the first day to take in the first specimen. He came back talking about the mean lady. I went today. She's more than mean she's horrible. In the 3rd window. Not nice, doesn't like her job and doesn't like people. I feel sorry for her. It's not an easy job I wouldn't think but it's made a lot worse by bad management. And I venture to guess the other locations are bad sometimes but you can always count on this location to be ugly.

They literally do not have someone at the front desk, period, to help with any questions or answer any phone calls. It's literally up to the automated kiosk, and automated voice messaging system. My test results were delayed and missing, and there was zero way to talk to someone about receiving them or figuring out what happened to them.

There were 3 phlebotomists and I believed that since there were only 4 of us that I would be seen before my scheduled 9:30am appointment. It was also urgent that my blood was drawn at around 8:30am because of my doctor's request. Yet, the phlebotomists were yapping really loudly as they prepared for the day and they never quite caught up. They were operating 20 minutes behind schedule and it was quite disappointing. Still, I waited the 2.5hrs and had a great experience once I was taken back. I only had one issue which was how much my insurance was covering but that was easily addressed. I will still come here for all things bloodwork. The team always makes me feel comfortable and seen and heard.

But this staff was wonderful in every way. The lady drawing my blood was very kind, patient, and gave me a count down. I was shocked at how gentle she was, how little it hurt. Unfortunately, I got fuzzy vision and passed out, even wet myself in the chair. When I came two both ladies on staff were helping me, very kind, giving me water and helping me to lie down. Nothing but professional despite how embarrassing the situation was for me. After laying down and cooling off I even felt comfortable being poked again to get the last vial necessary for my labs. And somehow... every single year... they magically bill me for something that should've been covered. At first I thought it was just one of those annoying insurance mix-ups. But after spending at least an HOUR every year playing mediator between the doctor, insurance company, and lab, it's starting to feel less like "oops" and more like a seasonal tradition. Usually they eventually fix it after I call enough times. Other times I've honestly just paid it because I value my sanity. This there were two tests I knew insurance wouldn't cover, paid for them upfront with my credit card, had the doctor separate them on a different form, AND asked for a receipt. The receipt only had the amount paid -- no description. Which already felt a little "interesting." Convenient that for some reason they have no way of putting a description what I paid for on this but every time they send me a bill it has a very accurate description of what they are billing me for. It's sad that it comes to me having to cord this interaction to protect myself. So I asked on video: "So these definitely will not be billed to insurance since I'm paying here?" Receptionist: "Yes." Fast forward to this week: guess who just got billed $36 for those exact same tests. At this point I'm not even mad about the money. It's the principle. Because I know a lot of people probably just sigh dramatically, pay the $30, and move on. But no. Not this year. This year I will be returning like a low-budget legal drama with my receipt, my credit card statement, AND my little video clip. Honestly the phlebotomists are sweet, but the front office acts like kindness costs extra. They are shockingly rude! So if this place keeps overbilling you too: fight it. Even if it's annoying. Or save yourself the headache and find a friendlier lab who doesn't routinely try to keep an extra 15- 30 from every visit.

I can only imagine how uncomfortable that must be for people who are mandated to take the test. Mine was optional, but still--if you're going to ask for private information, it should be done in a private setting. Also, the bathrooms aren't cleaned after each use, which adds to the lack of care UPDATE: Instead of taking accountability, they chose to lie on me in response to my honest one-star review. What they don't realize is that my case is not mandatory, and I will be seeking legal representation for the false claims made. I never threw my ID, and I would never behave that way toward anyone. It's a complete fabrication. Interestingly, I noticed another one-star review mentioning a similar experience--this seems to be a pattern with them. I barely interacted with the staff, and I was in a rush, which is why I accidentally left a paper napkin and a water cup. I returned and respectfully threw them away with no attitude whatsoever. I also want to point out that they have no regard for confidentiality. I knew exactly why each person was there, which shows a lack of professionalism and care for people's privacy.
