I've been a long time customer at Antonio's downstairs and last night we took a leap and tried upstairs and it DELIVERED. The food was to die for, and the service was prompt and attentive. I personally had the short rib which was out of this world in flavor. My companion had the lobster ravioli and was using the bread to scrape the bowl at the end. 10/10 we cannot wait to go back. We were a couple of friends grabbing dinner, but I would love to return with my husband for a date night! The vibe is traditional New York Italian, think white table cloth service and deep toned woods.

Food quantity: 9/10 Food quality: 9/10 Service: 6/10 Ambiance: 7/10 Overall rating: 8/10 Food was delicious, but service was lacking due to the large business party we were in. I had to ask for a drink several times and the food was slow to come out compared to other restaurants. Would recommend for smaller party sizes.

Food and atmosphere were lovely when my friend and I stopped in for a quick bite before a show that was playing nearby. We ordered from the happy hour menu and enjoyed our crab cake, burrata, and steak tips! Bartender was pleasant but food did take a little long after ordering.

Really busy for a Thursday night however service was impeccable. Pretty loud but usually it's not. Most visits are pretty quiet and intimate. New owners and the food is still just as good. Bread a little hard but everything else very delish!

Disappointed This is not my first time at Antonio's I went with my wife on Sept 5, the server was very nice and courteous but when the serving Started it showed a lack of experience we had to ask to bring the bread to the table, the bread came in but not the butter or olive oil so we have to ask for it, I ordered wine but had to ask for it again the chicken Marsala was not trim and had fat and cartilage attached to i ordered filet Mignon I asked the server what were the sides. He said mashed potatoes but it came with wedge potatoes, when it was time for desert we ordered creme brûlée and that was good. Ordered espresso coffee and the sugar was missing it took a long time to bring the sugar and by that time the coffee was cold so they had to fetch another cup of coffee, the whole serving event was uncoordinated. Expected more from Antonio's, I noticed that all the servers were very young please bring the old guys or train the new ones to the old standards.

Antonio's is THE Italian restaurant to go to in Central Florida. The cozy atmosphere, fantastic service, delicious food, nice view/seating, and marketplace/bakery...is everything you could want when you're dining out. Easily accessible parking lot with signage that states which entrance is for the bakery vs main door. There is a different menu for the dining area downstairs vs the restaurant upstairs. There are different dining sections upstairs, I was seated in the bar section. My party of 3 had a table next to the window with a nice view of Lake Lily. We did the happy hour and ordered an insane amount of food (prices and portion sizes were really good). Our server, Dani, was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Dani nailed our drinks. She recommended the Apulia Breeze, it was perfectly balanced and was a very refreshing drink to complement all the fried happy hour items we ordered! She also makes a mean old-fashioned. We ordered: Calamari, 2x sweet n spicy chicken tenders, potatoes soffocato, spicy chicken parm sliders, and the goat cheese artichoke. Bread and oil for the table. Everything was SOOO delicious. The calamari and bread was a crowdpleaser. The calamari was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and had a nice crunch. We fawned over the bread and oil, not a single crumb of it was left after the meal. I really enjoyed the chicken tenders and goat cheese artichoke. My friend said she could eat a whole other plate of the spicy chicken parm sliders. The potatoes soffocato (potato wedges) were huge. Don't let the liquid Gorgonzola sauce for it scare you off, it gave the wedges a good bite and flavor without being overly funky. Overall, would 100% come back to Antonio's and request for Dani to be my server. She kept my drink filled and even ran my friend's credit card down to us in the marketplace when Dani realized she had left it on the table. For under $30 a person, we practically rolled ourselves downstairs to the marketplace and ordered dessert to go (Oreo cheesecake, tiramisu, and cannoli), then we finished off the night walking off the food around Lake Lily. Girls' night, date night, friends outing, family meal...Antonio's can handle it all. And ask for Dani if you want amazing service!

I typically try to keep my reviews positive, but with over a decade of experience in hospitality, I believe honest feedback is just as important. I recently attended a birthday dinner at Antonio's with a group of around 10 guests. This was my first time dining here. I arrived shortly after the rest of the party, who had already placed their drink and entrée orders. Prior to my arrival, my wife mentioned that the staff seemed somewhat irritated with our group. I didn't think much of it initially, but after arriving, I began to notice the same tone. After getting settled, I waited a few minutes to place my order. When our server entered the private dining area to clear plates, I attempted to get his attention. As he was about to leave, I was finally able to speak with him and asked to order a cocktail and entrée. He responded that my wife had already ordered for me, which was unexpected, as I had planned to order for myself. When I clarified and requested the pappardelle bolognese instead, his response felt dismissive and noticeably unprofessional. That said, the food was excellent across the board. The lobster ravioli was outstanding, the bolognese was very well prepared, and the appetizer was a highlight for the table. Unfortunately, the service continued to feel rushed and somewhat strained as the evening went on. There were multiple reminders about closing out the check and preparing the room for the next party, which made the experience feel less welcoming than expected. Antonio's clearly delivers when it comes to food quality, but the service fell short of the standard the cuisine reflects. I would consider returning, though the overall experience would make me hesitant.

Antonio's is always an excellent recommendation. I stopped by here for lunch with some friends from out of town. We ate int he upstairs restaurant and it was relatively uncrowned on a weekday. I ordered the Papardell Bolognese and it was out seating. Slightly creamy and slightly meaty ribbon pasta in sauce. Excellent. The services was prompt and friendly. It probably would have been helpful when we were seated if the staff reminded us that it closed the kitchen at a certain time in the afternoon, as we were there just before it, but ultimately t it did not impact our meal

My friends and I came for happy hour and had a great experience! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the happy hour menu offered fantastic value. Our server, Dani, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and was very attentive. We'll definitely be coming back!

Hubby and I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now. We finally made it here, and I'm so happy we did. This Italian Restorante has fine dining upstairs and a fabulous restaurant downstairs. The downstairs restaurant isn't just pizza, OH NO! They have sit down dining and besides pizza, they offer an array of delectable dishes. They have wines galore! They have a Deli! The ambiance of the downstairs restaurant is so very charming. When I first walked in the door, the wonderful aroma of food was amazing. You just wanted to take pause, and inhale the aroma. Now, for Antonio's Restorante fine dining upstairs, where we dined. The Ambiance is so charming and you automatically feel so comfortable. Very Italian, but at the same time, cozy, warm and relaxing. They have a beautiful bar area with a lounge. Wow, the bar stools are well padded, seat and back with real soft material ( not vinyl). They have an elevator to transport you to the upstairs restaurant instead of taking the stairs. Everyone we came in contact with was charming, kind and very welcoming. You will see on my pictures that they have a covered outside dining area that is very pleasant, and over looks a lake. Now, for the best part of my review is the food! First of all, I want to commend the Chef, the Sous Chef and all others who were involved with preparing and presenting us with a meal to always remember! Thank you so much! My husband had one of the Chefs specials, "Carne", which is a wood grilled 16 oz Black Angus Ribeye with Caramelized Gorgonzola, roasted mushroom veal glacé and whipped potatoes. Oh my goodness, he let me taste his and my taste buds were doing a major happy dance! I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank with sweet pea Parmesan Risotto. I thought I died and went to fabulous food heaven LOL! The presentation of this food was a site to behold! For dessert, among others, they offered a seasonal Apple Spice Tiramisu that was very light and luscious to say the least. My husband and I have decided to put this fabulous restaurant at the top of our list. Oh, I must mention that the Chef offers delicious specials daily, unlike many restaurants where they serve the same food day in and day out. Fleming's Steakhouse was our top favorite, but now they're in second place! If you enjoy Italian and fine dining, please give Antonio's a try, I guarantee you will return again and again. You will see a picture that I took of our Tiramisu that had a lit candle on it. They did this for us because it was our first time dining here. How welcoming is that?! My husband and I really enjoyed our evening and experience here; everyone made it so special. Kudos to our server, Danielle, who was so sweet, kind and attentive; an absolute pleasure!

Italian restaurant which is an institution in the Maitland area. It's has been quite a few years since my last visit. We sat at the bar for happy hour. Good selection of cocktails and wines. I ordered my fav expresso martini..it was really good. For dinner, I got the chicken picatta..it was good but not the best. The capers had to many steams and dish lacked lemon. We also ordered the chicken florentine..again ok but not memorable. Dessert was great. Overall it was a good evening but I felt I was in a very old restaurant.

This is my second time here. I did get this meal last week and there was a $10 difference which was a little shocker. Prices went way up. Menu also changed. $38.00 for this.

Unfortunately, the best parts of the meal were the free bread basket at the beginning and our server, who was fantastic from start to finish. The menu had us genuinely excited. Blue crab sweet potato hash sounds like a can't-miss brunch dish, but it arrived surprisingly flat on flavor and desperately needed seasoning. I kept waiting for the "wow" moment that matched the description, and it just never came. The shrimp and grits landed in a similar spot. Not bad by any means, but also not memorable. For a seafood-focused restaurant in Florida, I expected something with a little more personality and punch. The biggest challenge is that the prices set expectations pretty high. With a great staff, a cool concept, and an intriguing menu, I wanted to love it. Instead, I left feeling underwhelmed and wishing the food had lived up to the promise on the page. I'm not sure if there is another visit in my future, especially with the myriad of other great options.

It was a great size, has a hearty crust for good handling, and the toppings are just magnificent in quantity And quality. Just wow. Delicious. For my main, I had the Crab Cakes (citrus beurre blanc, tomato-smoked pepper jam, fries). Again, dynamite dish. Lots of crab in those cakes, a creamy, acidic sauce as a nice foil to the crab, and then a nice little pop of that smoked pepper jam to really make the dish interesting with every bite. So good. I also got to try a nightly special they had, a Lamb Tenderloin. Perfectly medium rare, a nice rice side, just done really well. With that dollop of vanilla ice cream just melting away on top, it was the perfect dessert. What really set back this visit was the service. Our server was just awful, I'm sorry. Absolutely remarkable.  For the main course, I ordered the 12 oz. filet Pittsburg Rare. Finding a kitchen that can execute a true Pittsburgh Rare--a dark, charred crust on the outside while keeping the inside cold and rare--is extremely hard to come by. Christner's nails it effortlessly every time! The sides easily match the quality of the steaks: Au Gratin Potatoes: Rich, creamy, and baked with the ideal golden crust.  Asparagus: Perfectly snappy, fresh, and seasoned just right. Sautéed Mushrooms: Savory, juicy, and packed with deep umami. From the timeless ambiance to the seamless service, Christner's remains top-notch in every category. If you want the finest steak experience in the country, skip the tourist traps and come straight here.

Our servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful with menu recommendations. My husband enjoyed a glass of wine while I had a delicious mocktail. We started with the freshly baked bread, which was warm, soft, and absolutely delicious. For an appetizer, we shared the Blue Cheese Lettuce Wedge, which was fresh and flavorful. For our entrees, I ordered the Prime Filet Mignon, and my husband had the Prime Ribeye. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and were excellent quality. The side dishes are generously portioned, so we shared the Broccoli Au Gratin and the Lobster Macaroni & Cheese. Both were fantastic and complemented the steaks perfectly. To finish the evening, we shared the Chocolate Cake with a scoop of ice cream. Like the sides, dessert was a large portion and perfect for sharing. It was a wonderful ending to an exceptional meal. Overall, we had an excellent experience and highly recommend for a special occasion or an upscale dining experience.

Expanding the number of guests from the original reservation was not an issue at all. Contemporary decor, airy dining space and an open kitchen create a trendy, upscale setting. It's a popular place, so the noise level gets up there. Our server, Shenica, was a pro, flawlessly meeting our needs with vibrancy. She made sure our long table was never overloaded with unnecessary clutter. Her knowledge and guidance were precise and valuable. Not everyone in our party went with the MD menu. A downside was late pizza delivery for those who ordered it. The rest of us were well into our meals by the time pizzas finally arrived. Apologies and updates were provided, though. Another fail was the MD meatball appetizer (Albondigas). Disappointment rolled into a ball. Bland, dry meat. Nuts and sauce provided only mediocre flavor. First bite of Pork Pappardelle was a bit salty, but more savory balanced as I continued on. Finished the entire dish. Sticky Toffee Cake was warm, spongey goodness. Thinking about it takes me to a happy place. Really enjoyed my glass of Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc. Right up my alley as a regular pinot grigio enthusiast. I know I'll return. The brunch menu is very enticing.
