Kids spaghetti
Melody L.

I had lunch here for the first time on Saturday. It's an average Italian restaurant. I got the eggplant parmigiana and it was good. It came with bread, house side salad and a side of spaghetti. The bread lacked flavor and needed more butter or garlic. The house salad was just ok. There is a separate kids menu and kids eat free on Tuesday night. My dining companions got the kids spaghetti and a cheese steak sub that came with fries. The fries seemed strange at an Italian restaurant. I didn't like the "$2 splitting fee" that was on every page of the menu. I've never seen that before at a restaurant. What's so bad about splitting a dish? There was also a fly that was buzzing around us while we were trying to eat.

Wow! While at a friends they suggested ordering take out from here. I must admit I looked it up on yelp first and was a bit apprehensive, but they swore but it. The chicken parmesan was so good!! I get weary ordering dishes like that to go, but this was better than other recent chicken parmesan dishes I've had dining in. The chicken cutlet was thick and juicy and the sauce had a nice sweet finish. You can pay a small up charge for a side chef salad to accompany the chicken parmesan. All the ingredients were very fresh and I could see myself ordering a full size one next time. The pepperoni pizza was delicious. I'll definitely be coming here again!

Attended bingo night at panuzzo's. Bingo is free Monday night. We made a reservation and went early to eat before playing bingo which starts at 6. The place was packed. It was also happy hour. Two for one wine, beer, cocktails. For dinner we enjoyed house salad with tasty balsamic vinaigrette. Lots of dressing. We shared a mushroom and sausage pizza which was good. Not spectacular. Thin crust, lots of toppings. Others tasted the eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala and Greek salad. the eggplant parmesan was good and a large portion. The chicken marsala had a funny taste, an unusual herb or something. Don't think we'll order that again. Tasted different than other marsalas we've tried. The Greek salad was enormous with lots of toppings. Service was good and our server checked in with us constantly. The mike in the game didn't work so it was very hard to hear which made the game frustrating and confusing. You win restaurant coupons for the most part which cannot be used that night.

Great Beer and Pizza

Last night was the first time trying Cafe Panuzzo's and had just a great experience! Ordered a medium pizza with two toppings and it was delish! The waiter was great and the ambiance is amazing! They have a lot of great deals and events during the week! Must check it out!

Competitor- Chicken Picatta $14. Includes bread, dipping sauce and salad or soup.

Truly extraordinary. Let me start with the service. It is TOP TIER. You couldn't ask for better…read morecustomer service. I thoroughly enjoyed the explanation of how the restaurant came to be. I also enjoyed the walk through of the menu and the different dishes/pizza ordered. My friend and I started with the Burrata. It was phenomenal. I loved the flavor of the balsamic glaze. The rosemary focaccia bread was superb. For pizzas we decided upon the Star Beckham and the Marco. I really enjoyed the star shaped pizza. The triangle crust was packed with a good amount of ricotta cheese. There was lots of toppings and some of the freshest ingredient pizza I've ever had. The Marco pizza was good getting to try the stracciatella cheese for the first time. The restaurant is really cute. Its an intimate dining room area and you can see into the kitchen seeing the pizzas cooking. I had a great time here and a great meal.

When most people think of a pizza date, eating out of a grease-stained cardboard box on your dorm…read moreroom coffee table with Netflix playing in the background comes to mind, but Mister 01 proves that even pizza can make for a classy meal. We were lucky enough to have a free meal voucher from my girlfriend's work, so we decided to spoil ourselves. To start, we had the burrata e crudo, and between the fresh cheese and the addictive rosemary bread, we were practically fighting for the last piece. The prosciutto was also spot-on, and unlike the pre-packaged stuff you get at the supermarket, it was perfectly marbled and didn't have any of the annoying stringy bits of fat that get stuck between your teeth. You can just tell that Mister O1 really cares about the quality of every single thing they put on your plate. Next, we each got the star-shaped specialty pizzas, with my girlfriend getting the Star Beckham and me getting the Star Carlos. Both of these pies blew us away with their flavors and freshness, especially with that creamy warm ricotta folded into the Star-shaped crust. Some people might not usually like pizza crust, but trust me, even the most vocal crust-haters will reconsider when they try a slice. Now, the extraordinary thing about Mister O1's pizza is that they take the traditional Romana-style approach to pizza -- thin, light, and crispy. Unlike the glorified sponges sopping with oil that you find at your local Pizza Hut, these pizzas were so light on the stomach that bloating is nonexistent, and some of my more gluten-sensitive friends have even been able to enjoy their pizza without any issue. If you're full-blown Celiac or vegan, don't worry; they've got vegan and gluten-free options too! To finish our night, we ordered the Nutella and banana calzone, and honestly, whoever came up with that idea needs a big fat kiss on the mouth. It was stuffed with ooey-gooey warm Nutella, and the banana slices were practically spilling out of it as we tore away at it. If I hadn't been full from eating my entire pizza in one sitting, I would've ordered another. If you have kids, be careful sharing this with them, because they'll turn into piranhas over this desert. All in all, Mister O1 has quickly become our favorite pizza joint near UCF, and I proudly give it five big booms of approval.

Still 5 stars since I can't bump it up another notch. They have their staples like Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Bolognese, Shrimp Fry Diavolo, Puttanesca , Piccata, Gnocchi, and a variety of delicious pizzas and appetizers. There are too many to name. This restaurant can stand on their own with their standards. Where they stand out is with their specials. The chef here is always innovating and trying some new dishes. I wish I could get a notification of what's on the menu each night. I've had some amazing surprises with the taste and presentation of these dishes. And when they have wedding soup (Christmas time), I definitely make sure I go. I feel like part of the family when I go here. They always recognize us and some of the staff even resembles member of my extended Italian family. They cook better than my Italian grandma (shhhh, don't tell her). They also just opened a sister restaurant (Amalfi) down the block so they're taking over Avalon Park! I've been here a lot and plan on going a lot more. Some of the best Italian food in Orlando! Authentic Italian, incredible food, and a beautiful family atmosphere…read more We had such a wonderful experience tonight at Nonno's Italian Restaurant in Altamonte Springs, and I cannot recommend it enough. Everything we ordered tasted truly homemade and authentic, the way Italian food should be. We enjoyed the homemade lasagna and the homemade fettuccine Alfredo with breaded chicken, and both were absolutely outstanding. The pasta was fresh, the sauces were rich and perfectly balanced, and every bite tasted like it came straight from an Italian grandmother's kitchen--although in this case it actually came from grandfather's kitchen, since "Nonno" means grandfather in Italian. They start you with delicious warm bread served with their homemade pesto sauce, which was incredible. We also had the potato, squash, and carrot soup, which was comforting and flavorful. For dessert we had the limoncello cake, and it was the perfect light, bright ending to the meal. Our waitress Lauren Rose was fantastic--warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. One of the most special moments of the evening was meeting the owner, Stefano ("Nonno"), who stopped by our table to say hello. At the end of the night we noticed something that truly speaks to the heart of this restaurant: the entire staff sitting down together for a family-style dinner with Stefano and his wife. He cooks for them every day and feeds his team. That tells you everything you need to know about this place. Nonno's isn't just a restaurant--it feels like being welcomed into someone's home. The food is exceptional, the people are wonderful, and the atmosphere is warm and genuine. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in Altamonte Springs, this is a place you absolutely must visit. We will definitely be back!

While their…read moremenu did appear to have some pretty decent options, I did not order any food because I was simply there to pass the time as I awaited my appointment at a neighboring salon. So, sadly, I cannot speak to the food, and for now, my rating will remain squarely in the middle until I have the opportunity to try their food options. With that said, my rating is also in the middle because the service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. While it was dinnertime, the restaurant itself was not super packed. I opted to sit at the bar and sat there for about 10 mins before anyone serviced me. Had I known it would have been that slow, I'd have gone to the restaurant next door. Again, I just wanted a beverage as I waited for my time to pass for my hair appointment at the salon in the same shopping plaza. By the time I got my house glass of pinot grigio, it was time to pay my tab and go to my appointment. So, much of the time was eaten up in simply waiting for a bartender to service me; I was a little put off. In fact, they did not find anyone to service the bar area until it was about three of sitting there. Anyways, despite that, the staff was actually very kind. They did apologize for the wait, but you know what they say about first impressions. While I won't be letting this deter me from actually giving them a proper try, I will keep this first experience in the back of my head. Despite this, the venue is spacious. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar seating is limited, but they have enough. The environment seemed lively and very family-friendly. Also, pricing is GREAT! Their entire menu is very reasonable - so that is a plus! It is located in a shopping plaza, so there is more than enough parking. Again, I'll be back to give them another try and see if they are able to sway my opinions any further.
