Four stars for wonderful service and a nice clean restaurant with family vibes! We arrived here to meet with some friends for dinner and we're greeted warmly by Madeleine or something similar, I forgot her name. She was very sweet. We ordered the garlic knots for the kids straight away, the vodka, pizza, and the chicken wings. The chicken wings were absolutely flavorless and they weren't fried properly, they had no taste to them. I could barely get through one wing to be honest with you. They were also $19, but we didn't say anything to them. Anyhow, the pizza was pretty good and the garlic knots were delicious! I would definitely come back and try something else on the menu! Bonus, the entrée comes with garlic bread that is nice and crispy, I didn't know about it, but our friend got the seafood pasta and the bread came with it. The bread is complementary so that's a good tip. Will definitely come back when we are in the area!

We went again this evening. Everything was very good. We had pizza, wings, and a side of meatballs. The pizza was delicious and topped with fresh ingredients. The wings were very meaty and tasty. They were served piping hot. The meatballs were a very nice size, flavorful and very meaty with little filler. This is now my go to place for Italian food. If you want a nice, delicious meal in a hometown restaurant, stop in. You won't be sorry.

This place was just ok. We got the mozzarella cheese sticks and garlic knots as appetizers. The mozzarella cheese sticks were good. The garlic knots were not knots but instead were really messy rolls. I had to go wash my hands after eating these. The menu included Hawaiian pizza and fettuccine alfredo pasta which are both not authentic Italian dishes. The service seemed slow but there was only one waitress managing six tables. We were with an impatient child though also. The waitress tried taking away a sauce from under me that I was still using while eating. Also the tables were too close together. I had to ask my family member to get up just so I could get out of my seat without bumping into the stranger at the next table. We got the Bianco 14 inch pizza that we shared among all of us at the table. The pizza was thin crust it tasted just average. The size was enough for all of us and extra to take home. Overall this place is just average American Italian like Olive Garden.

Driving home from Orlando and was looking for something casual. A quick look through Yelp and we found this local restaurant. We stopped in and glad we did. This is located in a strip mall anchored by a Publix. Hard to see inside as the restaurant has window coverings that protect those inside from the sun. Inside is casual with multiple tables. We had a very short wait as they cleared off a table. We reviewed the menu and quickly came up with our order. An antipasto salad and a Grandma pizza The salad was quite good and loaded with various meats and olives. The Grandma pizza was excellent. A little different than others we've had but still tasty. They loaded the top with fresh basil. 8 big slices. Obviously had plenty to bring home for another meal. Service was very friendly and helpful. Well done!

Lil Vinny's opened up int he Publix shopping center near my home. Parking is plentiful as there is a big lot. We ordered takeout from here which included calzones and garlic knots. The price and service were good. The calzones looked nice and were what you would expected.....I want not disappointed nor were they anything out of the ordinary calzone. Its a great place to get those if you want a solid calzone. The Garlic knots were a little underwhelming if I am being honest. They were not as solitary/fluffy as I would have liked and there was just sprinkled Parmesan randomly thrown on. They were not bad - per se.....but I wouldn't order them again based on my first experience. Overall, probably a consistent Italian shop for a quick bite.

So good!!! Had veggie calzone and very good. Big portions given and great service. Ambiance is ok and is like a typical pizza joint.

    Cheese Calzone

This was our first experience with Lil Vinny's. The welcome when we walked in was wonderful. We started with garlic knots. They were good. Plenty of garlic and butter on top. The sauce was delicious and is full of fresh herbs and garlic. The calzones were good. My wife felt like the cheese could've been seasoned a little more. She had to add some salt. I enjoyed the special, though I would've liked the peppers a little more cooked. We brought home some fettuccine Alfredo and she loved it.

This place does not disappoint from the bread to the service to the custom pizzas. I have to say this is my new favorite local spot.

I also enjoyed the walk through of the menu and the different dishes/pizza ordered. My friend and I started with the Burrata. It was phenomenal. I loved the flavor of the balsamic glaze. The rosemary focaccia bread was superb. For pizzas we decided upon the Star Beckham and the Marco. I really enjoyed the star shaped pizza. The triangle crust was packed with a good amount of ricotta cheese. There was lots of toppings and some of the freshest ingredient pizza I've ever had. The Marco pizza was good getting to try the stracciatella cheese for the first time. The restaurant is really cute. Its an intimate dining room area and you can see into the kitchen seeing the pizzas cooking. I had a great time here and a great meal.

When most people think of a pizza date, eating out of a grease-stained cardboard box on your dorm…read moreroom coffee table with Netflix playing in the background comes to mind, but Mister 01 proves that even pizza can make for a classy meal. We were lucky enough to have a free meal voucher from my girlfriend's work, so we decided to spoil ourselves. To start, we had the burrata e crudo, and between the fresh cheese and the addictive rosemary bread, we were practically fighting for the last piece. The prosciutto was also spot-on, and unlike the pre-packaged stuff you get at the supermarket, it was perfectly marbled and didn't have any of the annoying stringy bits of fat that get stuck between your teeth. You can just tell that Mister O1 really cares about the quality of every single thing they put on your plate. Next, we each got the star-shaped specialty pizzas, with my girlfriend getting the Star Beckham and me getting the Star Carlos. Both of these pies blew us away with their flavors and freshness, especially with that creamy warm ricotta folded into the Star-shaped crust. Some people might not usually like pizza crust, but trust me, even the most vocal crust-haters will reconsider when they try a slice. Now, the extraordinary thing about Mister O1's pizza is that they take the traditional Romana-style approach to pizza -- thin, light, and crispy. Unlike the glorified sponges sopping with oil that you find at your local Pizza Hut, these pizzas were so light on the stomach that bloating is nonexistent, and some of my more gluten-sensitive friends have even been able to enjoy their pizza without any issue. If you're full-blown Celiac or vegan, don't worry; they've got vegan and gluten-free options too! To finish our night, we ordered the Nutella and banana calzone, and honestly, whoever came up with that idea needs a big fat kiss on the mouth. It was stuffed with ooey-gooey warm Nutella, and the banana slices were practically spilling out of it as we tore away at it. If I hadn't been full from eating my entire pizza in one sitting, I would've ordered another. If you have kids, be careful sharing this with them, because they'll turn into piranhas over this desert. All in all, Mister O1 has quickly become our favorite pizza joint near UCF, and I proudly give it five big booms of approval.

I love supporting small business so we were excited to support an Oviedo business. The reason for my 3 stars is that I just didn't love the pizza. We ordered an 18" Bianca and 18" cheese with toppings. The crust was very tough and honestly didn't have a lot of flavor. I prefer a doughy pizza but since this is brick oven, I understand it has to be thin, but it was burnt in some spots and without a lot of flavor overall. The Bianca was pretty good in terms of cheese and we added spinach but the ricotta was flavorless. I think the ricotta can really make or break a white pizza so adding some spices would go a long way. For the cheese pizza, we did half with 3 toppings and the other half with 3 toppings. The taste was ok, but again, the crust left a lot to be desired. I don't know if it was an off night or maybe this is the norm or maybe I'm just picky. I'm from the northeast so good pizza is a commodity and not easy to come by. I can't say we'll rush back but based on the other reviews, we may come back and try other menu items. We didn't dine in but the location and building itself is cute and feels like a small town family business, which we love! Hoping this was a one off and the other menu items are better!

Being an Oviedoan, you hear nothing but good things about this place, and I was feeling pizza, so it just made sense. Location is super fantastic, just a stone's throw away from my place and historic downtown. Take-out only, so there's only one parking spot on property. Get in, and get out. I love it. Service was amazing. They had my food ready when I got there, and the team were some of the nicest folks I've ever met. As for the pies, we got two 12-inches. First was the Fig and Prosciutto (Organic figs, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto baked on a drilled olive oil crust, finished with arugula served with a side of balsamic (no red sauce)). This was a really good pie. The bitter arugula with the sweet figs with the tang of that balsamic, just really well designed. I was surprised a mom and pop came up with this. Very nice. Then came the Chicken Bacon Ranch (Ranch sauce based, chicken, crumbled bacon and mozzarella cheese (no red sauce)). This one was a lot of fun. Usually chicken on pizza is served in chunks that are too big, but this chicken was diced, so you got chicken and bacon in even amounts in every single bite. It was really cool. Big fan. These 12-inches are also perfect for getting two and splitting them. You'll have one or two slices leftover the next day, which is fine, because these pizzas eat well cold. We also got the Garlic Knots (1/2 dozen garlic knots with a side of marinara sauce). Amazing knots. They go for a lot of little ones, so you get an amazing crispy outside-to-soft inside ratio. Garlic and olive oil everywhere to get some good stuff in every bite. Overall, I had no idea that this kind of quality was literally a mile away from my front door. I never had a local go-to pizza place before this day, but man, I am so glad.

Ambiance was very, well, Oviedo. A giant mural adorned the wall. Chickens, the Welcome sign, even a sandhill crane. It was very pretty. Service was superb. There was a nice cashier lady who gave off a owner or manager aura. We talked through the menu together and came up with a couple of delicious options for me to order. Option one was the Tikka Chicken Pizza (Tikka Sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes on a Naan crust topped with cilantro). This thing was a lot of fun! So, sadly, I cannot speak to the food, and for now, my rating will remain squarely in the middle until I have the opportunity to try their food options. With that said, my rating is also in the middle because the service was SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. While it was dinnertime, the restaurant itself was not super packed. I opted to sit at the bar and sat there for about 10 mins before anyone serviced me. Had I known it would have been that slow, I'd have gone to the restaurant next door. Again, I just wanted a beverage as I waited for my time to pass for my hair appointment at the salon in the same shopping plaza. By the time I got my house glass of pinot grigio, it was time to pay my tab and go to my appointment. So, much of the time was eaten up in simply waiting for a bartender to service me; I was a little put off. In fact, they did not find anyone to service the bar area until it was about three of sitting there. Anyways, despite that, the staff was actually very kind. They did apologize for the wait, but you know what they say about first impressions. While I won't be letting this deter me from actually giving them a proper try, I will keep this first experience in the back of my head. Despite this, the venue is spacious. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar seating is limited, but they have enough. The environment seemed lively and very family-friendly. Also, pricing is GREAT! Their entire menu is very reasonable - so that is a plus! It is located in a shopping plaza, so there is more than enough parking.
