My husband and I went last weekend for lunch and had a great experience. The server was so friendly and helpful with giving suggestions and the food was delicious! We tried the Greek sala, pizza fries, Pesto Specialty Pizza, and a Tiramisu. They also have by the slice if you prefer, or pizza kits to take home which we thought was so fun! Cute spot to check out!

Great coal fired Pizza. Staff and service were good, not great. And the restaurant had frat atmosphere for a pizza joint.

Garlic knots (not!!!)

I decided to give this place a try via Uber eats and I have to say the garlic knots were (not-ing) they were more like garlic rolls and lacked flavor. The pizza on the other hand hit the spot it was just like New York style pizza.

Bacon pepperoni

Small location hidden in a plaza but a gem! Cheese was delicious and made everything delicious. Chicken wings crispy!!! Pizza so good! Calzone so cheesy! Our waitress was attentive and gave quick fast service. Their coke machine was some of the best soda I've had in months. This place is delicious!!! Must check it out

Tour of Italy

Came with a friend and tried the garlic knots, extravaganza pizza (+pineapple) and the Tour of Italy and everything was delicious! The garlic knots that come complimentary with the tour of Italy were different than the appetizer knots and were topped with a thicker, more buttery garlic sauce with lots of parm. Those were the star of the whole meal! Sadly forgot to get a pic of them this time. Also really loved the old timey vibe of the place - jazzy music with lots of black and white photos of celebs and the sopranos along the walls.

Chicken Palermo

My boyfriend wanted a calzone specifically from here. I've never been here before and decided to order the chicken Palermo. It didn't disappoint! The calzone now only comes in one size but it's very big with enough for leftovers. We ordered for delivery and both items were piping hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place!

Tour of Italy

From the outside you would think it was just an ordinary pizza place, but right when you step inside and see the decorations and atmosphere it's a different story! Our server was so nice and we also got to meet the manager, Chris, who made sure everything was going great throughout. To start, we had the garlic knots which were literally the best I've ever had. They came in this buttery sauce which was everything. We also had the extravaganza pizza with pineapple added on which tasted amazing, especially with the extra cheese! We also got to try the Tour of Italy which was also so cheesy and delicious!

The food is always delicious. It's a small place for regulars but it's just what you need some days. Takeout is good too.

I f you would have told me I would be someday ordering Pizza with a side of spaghetti I would have told you: "that makes no sense". But here it makes perfect sense! The staff here feels like they know you, they are cool personal and always attentive. They make sure you get what you need fast and good and check regularly to see how they can make it better. The place itself is as New York Italian as you can get. Two big TVs play random stuff (today was old episodes of the price is right, great show BTW) with subtitles while breakdancing music plays in the background. You can hear the bustle of the kitchen and the occasional laughter or screaming match. The Pizza Perfectly cooked! The Vodka sauce is the best I ever had. Creamy and flavorful with the cheese it just drips!!! addictive! Their red sauce is fantastic just the right amount of acidity from the tomato not too salty or sweet . The Brooklyn pizza is a whole thing. The dough is crunchy and fluffy and messy and the peperoni crunchy and salty. Like I said you must try the spaghetti with marinara sauce even if just as a side its beauty in simplicity form and I had their Chicken parmigiana with the spaghetti and it was perfection. Very generous portion. 10/10 The only problem I keep running in to at this place is deciding what to eat. But I always leave full, happy and with a to go box! "Era tutto buonissimo"

Jenny got my order, helped me carry it out, and gave some tips on ordering catering for next time. The food is delicious. I'm eating the leftovers right now. We had Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan + Yogurt Sauce. Everything was super flavorful. My only issue was the spice level on the Chicken Biryani. JENNY WARNED ME. I did listen but I was not prepared. I took a bite raw with no sauce. It was too much for MY body. For people who can handle spice, you will love it! All I did was add some yogurt to the rice and I was good! The rice was really delicious, I just can't handle spice, it's really a shame. Thank you Jenny and Tikka Shack for the great food to pair with a great evening celebrating my friend!

The crust was perfectly crispy, which is exactly how I like it, and the pizza had great flavor. Service was quick, and we got our pizza faster than I expected. The atmosphere definitely has a fun college vibe, which makes sense being near UCF, but I could also see it being very kid friendly and comfortable for families. I also loved the decor, especially the real plants hanging along the walls. It gave the place a cool, relaxed feel and made the space stand out. The prices were very affordable, especially considering how large the slices are. Great pizza, huge portions, crispy crust, quick service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd go back to whenever I'm in Orlando!

Stopped by Lazy Moon Pizza and decided to sample a couple of their enormous slices along with a…read moresmall Greek salad. If you've never been, "slice" is a bit of an understatement here. These things are huge, thin crusted, and unless you possess some serious pizza folding skills, best approached with a fork and knife. First up was Jason's Mom's Slice (JMS): tomato sauce, chicken, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, tomatoes, ranch, Jason's Mom's sauce, and mozzarella. Flavor wise, this was my favorite of the two. The caramelized onions were especially good, although I wish they had been distributed a little more evenly across the slice. My only real issue was the crust had quite a bit of sag. I suspect the large tomato slices placed directly on the crust released moisture as they cooked, making an already thin crust difficult to support. Next was the Meaty McMeatface Slice (MMS), loaded with tomato sauce, birria beef, ground beef, pepperoni, bacon, and mozzarella. They aren't kidding about the "meaty" part. The birria was the star and added a nice depth of flavor, but overall I found this slice a little dry. A side of Jason's Mom's sauce would probably have been the perfect companion, although it comes with an additional $1.50 charge. I also ordered the small Greek salad, which was anything but small. It came loaded with perfectly ripe tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, black olives, fetta and pepperoncini. The menu lists romaine lettuce, but what I received looked and tasted more like escarole or frisee, with a noticeable bitterness. I'm not certain what the green actually was, but it definitely didn't taste like romaine. The menu also mentions roasted red peppers, though I couldn't find any in my portion. I liked the dressing, but the salad could have used a little seasoning. I didn't see salt anywhere around the bar where I was sitting. Maybe there was some near the drink station, but apparently, I wasn't motivated enough to launch a salt expedition. The ordering process is straightforward. Walk in, order from the counter underneath the overhead menus, grab your drink, and find a seat. I asked for water and was initially handed a small plastic cup for the self-serve station. I asked if I could get a cold beer pint glass instead, and they happily accommodated the request. Thank you! A small gesture, but one I appreciated. There is plenty of seating, although the bar stools where I sat felt sufficiently rickety to make me question their structural integrity every time I shifted my weight. Total damage was about $37 including a 20% tip. To be fair, the portions are substantial. I boxed up leftover pizza and salad and finished them for breakfast the following morning, so there was certainly plenty of food. Still, for two slices and a small salad at a counter service pizza joint, the final tab felt a bit steep. Overall, some very good flavors and gigantic portions with a few execution and value issues. Jason's Mom won this round, although next time I might ask her to go a little easier on the tomatoes. And yes, giant cold pizza for breakfast remains one of life's underrated pleasures.

This location near UCF is a bit far and inconvenient, and I haven't been to the store, but let me say it holds up well with an Uber Eats order. Since it's two pizzas, you can order a large and customize each one if you'd like.
