Cheesey knots

Pizzaooked good but soggy under cooked, cheesey knots were good. Waiters acted as if they didn't want to be there. Atmospheric was good.

Hands down Best pizza around central Florida! Better than Dough Boyz Pizza! Sorry‍ I said it

Yes Please! You can't help but smile when you pull up to this place because you know you're going to get the best pizza or the best calzone you've ever had. After we had our uneventful sushi we came over here to grab a calzone and we were not disappointed. Just look at this thing! It's massive. We shared it and even had enough to take home for a snack for the next day. We also had a antipasto salad That was delicious. Everything was served fresh and hot. Our server was spot on always checking in on us and getting whatever we needed. There is not much seating here so you will either have to wait or give them your name and they will call you when a table is ready. I think this is a very busy side of town. If you want good pizza that you can get by the slice or by the pie you must come here. Tonight was the first night I tried their calzone and it did not disappoint. Come get you some;

The Butchers Calzone $12.99, excellent!!

Nancy and I stopped by Tomasino's on our recent date night in the Winter Springs area. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Thursday evening and this place was jamming with a 25-30-minute wait (actually not a bad wait for a full restaurant). We decided to go across the street to Hokkaido Sushi and get a small meal then return later once the wait died down; we returned an hour later and were greeted/seated promptly. Our server, Gabby, took great care of us, brought our drinks out quickly along with an ice cold Peroni draft ($4.99). We ordered the Greek House Salad ($10.99) and the Butcher Calzone ($12.99) with extra sauce ($0.69) to share. Our salad was ready in less than 10-minutes and the Calzone took about 25 minutes, sweet! The salad was filled with fresh ingredients and included salami, ham, feta cheese, kalamata olives, diced cucumbers & green peppers, and pepperoncini. Gabby brought out extra dressing at no charge. The dressing was a balsamic vinaigrette and was quite tasty. The Calzone was huge, basically a 12"-14" Butcher Pie folded over and baked, awesome! There was no way we could finish all of this food between us, but it was a lot of fun finally trying a Tomasino's Calzone for the first time. This is my first time visiting the Winter Springs Tomasino's location. I have to say this store seems smaller than the Lake Mary one. Also, this one seems to have a lot more employees. I counted 9 people working when we arrived. The one in Lake Mary might be lucky if they have 4; Kudos to Nick and his team at the Lake Mary location for always busting his butt and providing exceptional service. Tomasino's makes an awesome pizza, the Ricotta Be Kitting Me, the VIP, the Butcher's Pie are my favorites. My lunchtime favorites include the two slice & drink combo ($10), the Bossman's Meatball Sliders ($10), the Tomasino's Spinach salad ($13), and the Italian Combo sub ($11). If you love Italian food and are looking for a great place to dine-in or take out I highly recommend checking out Tomasino's!

I first visited about a year ago and enjoyed one of their lunch specials, which was excellent. This time, we decided to opt for a takeout order. Although I initially planned to order online, I noticed a $0.99 service charge. While it wasn't a huge amount, I opted to place the order over the phone. Our food was ready for pickup in just 25 minutes. We went with a 14-inch The Butcher's Pizza and the Bossman's meatball sliders. The Butcher's Pizza was packed with pepperoni, sausage, sliced meatball, bacon, and ham. We're big fans of meat pizzas, and this one had the most meat of any we've had! The Bossman's meatball sliders were tasty too, consisting of three garlic knots filled with meatballs, marinara sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. However, we felt they could have used a bit more garlic butter on top as it didn't have much garlic flavor. From my previous visit, I recall the dining area being quite small with limited tables. On that occasion, I didn't have trouble finding a seat, and the service was both quick and efficient. Overall, I think Tomasino's is great but it's not out of this world.

I'm new to this area but this place has great NY style pizza. The flatbread is crunchy and very tasty. I wanted to add this picture since I was afraid to order it since there was no picture. This is the perfect size for a lunch.

Don't order delivery from this place. They charge you a $7.99 delivery fee. Save yourself the money and pick it up.

I recently discovered Cava this year and I've been hooked. I always get the Build Your Own Bowl,…read morethis time I tried the lamb meatballs and the honey chicken. I absolutely love Cava and how I can add different options like hummus and really load up on the vegetables as well. The Balsamic Date Vinaigrette is so good I wish they sold it in store! I also got the pineapple apple mint juice, it was a little on the watered down side so I opted for tea when I went back for a refill. Service is always super quick and everyone is very nice!

I stopped by CAVA for a quick lunch and ordered takeout. I went with the braised lamb over basmati…read morerice and lentils with a few toppings, along with a side of pita chips. The bowl looked great on the line, but once I started eating, the rice was hit or miss. Some of it was hard and clumped together, and I ended up removing those parts. The lamb looked really good but tasted like it could have used more seasoning. The portion size was also a little disappointing. The bowl itself is large, but the amount of meat and rice felt small compared to the size of the container. I ordered plain pita chips, but instead received the new sour cream and onion version. That turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They were fresh, had great seasoning, and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. I would honestly go back just to get those again. My son ordered the chicken bowl. He said it was just okay and agreed that the portion size felt small for the size of the bowl. Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't a standout either. If I return, I'd probably try a different protein option. Food: 3 out of 5 Service: 3 out of 5 Value: 2 out of 5 Overall Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Truly extraordinary. Let me start with the service. It is TOP TIER. You couldn't ask for better…read morecustomer service. I thoroughly enjoyed the explanation of how the restaurant came to be. I also enjoyed the walk through of the menu and the different dishes/pizza ordered. My friend and I started with the Burrata. It was phenomenal. I loved the flavor of the balsamic glaze. The rosemary focaccia bread was superb. For pizzas we decided upon the Star Beckham and the Marco. I really enjoyed the star shaped pizza. The triangle crust was packed with a good amount of ricotta cheese. There was lots of toppings and some of the freshest ingredient pizza I've ever had. The Marco pizza was good getting to try the stracciatella cheese for the first time. The restaurant is really cute. Its an intimate dining room area and you can see into the kitchen seeing the pizzas cooking. I had a great time here and a great meal.

When most people think of a pizza date, eating out of a grease-stained cardboard box on your dorm…read moreroom coffee table with Netflix playing in the background comes to mind, but Mister 01 proves that even pizza can make for a classy meal. We were lucky enough to have a free meal voucher from my girlfriend's work, so we decided to spoil ourselves. To start, we had the burrata e crudo, and between the fresh cheese and the addictive rosemary bread, we were practically fighting for the last piece. The prosciutto was also spot-on, and unlike the pre-packaged stuff you get at the supermarket, it was perfectly marbled and didn't have any of the annoying stringy bits of fat that get stuck between your teeth. You can just tell that Mister O1 really cares about the quality of every single thing they put on your plate. Next, we each got the star-shaped specialty pizzas, with my girlfriend getting the Star Beckham and me getting the Star Carlos. Both of these pies blew us away with their flavors and freshness, especially with that creamy warm ricotta folded into the Star-shaped crust. Some people might not usually like pizza crust, but trust me, even the most vocal crust-haters will reconsider when they try a slice. Now, the extraordinary thing about Mister O1's pizza is that they take the traditional Romana-style approach to pizza -- thin, light, and crispy. Unlike the glorified sponges sopping with oil that you find at your local Pizza Hut, these pizzas were so light on the stomach that bloating is nonexistent, and some of my more gluten-sensitive friends have even been able to enjoy their pizza without any issue. If you're full-blown Celiac or vegan, don't worry; they've got vegan and gluten-free options too! To finish our night, we ordered the Nutella and banana calzone, and honestly, whoever came up with that idea needs a big fat kiss on the mouth. It was stuffed with ooey-gooey warm Nutella, and the banana slices were practically spilling out of it as we tore away at it. If I hadn't been full from eating my entire pizza in one sitting, I would've ordered another. If you have kids, be careful sharing this with them, because they'll turn into piranhas over this desert. All in all, Mister O1 has quickly become our favorite pizza joint near UCF, and I proudly give it five big booms of approval.
