There was a line to order once I walked in, and then a line formed behind me for other online pickup orders. It says to pickup your food from the designated online order pickup area, but they started keeping the orders in the back, assuming that they've had issues with people stealing other peoples orders. I created my own bowl and I highly recommend the tahini Caesar dressing. I made sure to also order a side of pita to pair with the bowl. I stopped here for some dinner on a Sunday and there was no line around 5:00 p.m. It's my second time going to acava and so far I've been really impressed with the brand. I like that they offer a piece of pita bread with their bowls and that they have signs of the different options on the glass. Everything tasted really fresh and I absolutely loved their garlic sauce. If you're a garlic fan, you should definitely try it! The service was friendly. I had a couple questions and they happily answered it and even gave me some recommendations. As a Mediterranean bowl concept, Cava meets and satisfies a number of my favorite middle eastern flavors. Yes, it's a chain; however, the fresh food at each location consistently tastes the same. The only substantial difference between stores that I've experienced is the service. So far, the service at this location has been solid. Efficiency and following my many topping requests for the build-your-own bowl are important to me, and the employees here are good! I appreciate that! I really like the Cava concept of base, dips/spreads (x3), proteins, toppings (as many as you like), and dressings (up to 2) and enjoy choosing my own. So far, the named, set bowls haven't lived up to my expectations and preferences. Pita chips are a freebie with bowls, and can be purchased separately with a dip or spread. Bottled, canned, and fountain beverages are available. Lastly, the rewards program has recently been revamped to award points according to one of three levels now in play. After I said bowl, she asked me if I wanted a free side of pita, which was really nice, because I've never been asked that at any other location. Which it also includes a side of pita. I always get the rice and either the Harissa honey chicken or the falafel and you can't forget the taziki or the hummus. Decided to try them out as I've been hearing good things. Sunday afternoons are probably the worst time to come. This place was packed when we arrived which almost made me leave. I knocked one star off because there is so much wasted space and they need more seating. Yes there is seating outside but who wants to roast in 90 degree weather? My favorite is arugula. A few meat options, baked veggies and falafel. Incredible choice of deeps -- I love eggplant and hummus. And side salad toppings to add as much as you want are impressive. I love tomatoes salad, cabbage slaw, pickled onions and cucumbers. They have great selection of dressing and you can find a great low calorie ones like yogurt dill. However, I took 2 stars off this time because their beverage cooler is out of order from last month and still out of order, but beverages, including milk and others were still displayed in it. This can be a health hazard. Fix the frusge or remove ALL beverages off. Also, the outdoor flower bed was also abandoned. It appears to be an absentee ownership issue to me. People tend to link a dirty toilet to the clealiness of ... the kitchen. Put flowets in, or throw it away the ugly decor. read more

Every so often nowadays, a new bowl place will open, and that will be the best, most hyped bowl place in town for like 6-8 months, before the next big thing comes alone. Well now it's Cava's turn. The legend of Cava had been growing in greater Orlando, people ordering it for lunch at work, IG videos of people loving the product, so when a location was opening in Oviedo, I was excited to finally try it. We showed up one day ready to order. The building was absolutely beautiful, a nice, tall corner lot. The interior was very spacious, full of natural light from the giant windows, and the staff was all above-and-beyond in their customer service. We get in line and order. It was actually a while ago, so I don't remember the specifics of what I ordered, but do know that the topping options were very impressive. Lots of fresh, tasty sounding options. Tons of veggies, which we all need to eat more of. The meats all sounds great, especially their shredded lamb, I know that's what I had, and it was so lovely. I also really enjoyed the amount of toppings they had that were purely to add crunch and texture. I am a huge fan of crunch, so yes, please throw as many wontons as you can on top. There were also dressings and dollops of hummus you can add and mix it all into the bowl. And you get a free quarter-piece of pita bread on the side. They throw the kitchen sink at you. So overall, this place was lovely. The other bowl places that have been around a while are just as good, but that doesn't discount that Cava is five stars. With how close it is to my apartment, I will probably be coming back here pretty often. read more

I just love Cava. Their whole model seems to be pretty popular these days--see: Bolay, Fresh Kitchen, etc.--but in some ways, I prefer Cava to the others. I feel like Cava's proteins are consistently better than the other "assemble-your-own" franchises. Their standard combinations are yummy, but you can always create your own. I do think they're a bit on the pricier side, but so far, the quality justifies the cost. It's also nice to be able to grab something quick without it being junk food. You can either dine in or order ahead in their app for pick up. It's super convenient and has saved me in a pinch many times. My only complaint, and this is minor, is that they don't have more of their own bowl creations on their standard menu. That might seem unnecessary when you can literally create whatever you want, but every little topping counts towards your creation's price, and I just find that stressful. Also, sometimes we don't want to think! Just make me something delicious, wouldya? lol Tired of eating trash just because you're in a rush? Get yourself some Cava! read more

I have gone back to them 2x now and both times my order was ready 5 minutes prior to pick up time and each item was prepared with detail and accuracy. First timer at any Cava location! Love at first bite! Actually it was probably when I was studying the menu. A "build your own bowl" type of restaurant, however I went with the Chicken + Rightrice. I changed the greens from arugula to spinach and chose the pepper hummus and harissa vinaigrette. I loved they have the option for a healthy grain, like right rice which is packed with protein. My absolute favorite part of the both I have to say was the harissa dressing, but I will definitely be back to try more options! read more

I was very excited to try Cava yesterday. My bf said he would pick it up on his way home from work, so I ordered it online. I ended up being a bit confused by their search function for finding locations and I do partially blame that for ordering at the wrong location. I meant to order at the location on Red Bug Lake road and didn't realize their were two so near to each other. The Mitchell Hammock location was the one that popped up when I put in the location. I do recognize I am also to blame. I realized pretty quickly after the order what I had done and I tried to call to move the order to a different location or to just cancel it in general. Their phone is a never answering robot that will not connect you with a real life person, so that was frustrating. Fortunately the other location was no too far out of the way. When my bf did pick it up for me, he didn't realize that I had ordered a drink as the empty cup for my drink was placed inside the bag. Fortunately he called me when he got in the car and I double checked about the drink. He then had to park and go back inside to fill it up. Then, for the food. I got the falafel crunch bowl. But I removed the tomatoes and added fiery broccoli and Kalamata olives. I am not sure what it was about the bowl, but something in there tasted like it had been frozen, thawed, and not cooked all the way. It could have been the rice, broccoli, cauliflower(?), or cabbage, but I'm really not sure because the taste spread to everything. I tried to pick at the bowl best I could, but it really felt like a waste of money as I felt like I was forcing myself to eat it. It just was not good. I don't know if I just ordered bad or if it's just this location, but I don't see myself going back anytime soon. There are many much better bowl places in Orlando. read more

This Cava location has a limited amount of seating making it difficult to go with a group. Perfect for small groups of 2-4. The service is quick making it great for a quick grab and go meal. Picture delicious and healthy rolled up in one. I had a custom bowl with Jazmine rice, chicken, roasted veggies and purple cabbage, Brussel sprouts, tzatziki sauce, roasted corn as toppings. This is guilt free fast food dining. The service was amazing and the interior of the restaurant didn't feel like your typical fast food restaurant. It felt like Chipotle and Whole Foods' smarter cousin. Sorry no pic, I was in such a rush to eat my food I totally forgot! Please open a cava in the Miramar or Pembroke Pines, FL area. We need more healthy choices. By the way, I first encountered Cava after a dear friend offered me her food after my hubby and I arrived in Texas after a long motorcycle trip. Right off the back, the food at Cava is great!! Went to this location this evening 9:20pm. They close at 10pm. Walk up the counter and 3 employees are busy cleaning. One employee comes from the back and starts a to go order. My wife and I notice her haste in prepping the order and notice she did not seem happy. 5 mins pass, no one says anything to us. I notice they are cleaning the line and a lot of the food pans have been lifted from the spots on the line. Finally one employee, after sweeping finally washes her hands and turns to serve us. She gave no apologies whatsoever for us having to wait more than 5 minutes. She starts my wife's order and hands it off the the previous employee referred to above. Once again the meal prep was with haste. My wife's meal gets to the sauce topping and my wife asks if she could have the sauce on the side. She obliged, however one of the sauces ran out and the young lady put the lid on a less than half filled container. My wife asked if she was going to get more to which she sighed and replied that she needed to check and see if there is more. My order was prepared well. Needless to say, the food at Cava is great, but this location has a lot to desire to ensure they get customers coming back. read more

This food is full of flavor! We have similar fast eateries like this in town, but this is hands down the best. Why? It really has the Mediterranean flavors. It's well seasoned, too. Lots of choices for sauces and dips. Some I enjoyed, some not so much. However, it's just a personal preference and there are multiples to try. The spicy chicken isn't too spicy and is flavorful. Both the lamb meatballs were juicy and flavorful. You can choose non-spicy and spicy foods. There's even harissa as an added topping for those who will enjoy the extra heat. My favorite was the lamb meatballs with basmati rice and arugula with feta tomatoes and Persian cucumber (which is a little spicy, so works great together).
