I ordered one of the most popular "balsamic chicken avocado" on door dash and it was very basic! I had about 3 tiny bites of avocado, it was all romaine lettuce with lots of the butt pieces. The balsamic vinaigrette was more on the creamy side than the oily side, not my favorite. And the tiny piece of bread was about pinky size and black in color b/c it was burned. The bag also did not include any utensils so that was inconvenient. If you need some make sure to add a note on online delivery services.

I visited Kai Asian Street Fare located inside the Food Factory and ordered the Vietnamese Grilled…read morePork Bowl. Overall, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag, leaning toward mediocre for the price point. The Food * The Pork: The highlight of the dish was definitely the grilled pork. It was well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked well. * The Rice & Fillings: Unfortunately, the balance of the bowl was way off. A massive portion, easily half the bowl, was just plain white rice. To make matters worse, they do not serve traditional Vietnamese fish sauce (nước chấm), leaving a huge mountain of rice completely dry and flavorless. * The Veggies: The pickled daikon and radish were pretty underwhelming and didn't bring that bright, crisp punch you usually expect in a Vietnamese bowl. Value & Atmosphere * Value: At $17.00, a bowl like this is quite high for what you actually get. Paying a premium price for a dish that is 50% plain rice and missing its core sauce feels like a letdown. * Atmosphere: The saving grace of the experience was the setting. The supporting atmosphere of the Food Factory is a massive plus, as it's a great, lively environment to hang out in. Verdict: If you are craving an authentic, well-balanced Vietnamese pork bowl with all the traditional fixings, you might want to look elsewhere. Underwhelming for $17.00, but the vibe of the venue helps save the overall experience.

You can sit at any of the outdoor tables or grab one of the few indoor tables. Either way, you'll have a comfortable setting. The service is quiet but friendly at Kai. We ordered a variety of items at the counter and had them delivered to the table as they were ready. The absolute best menu offering in my opinion is the noodle dishes. We tried two: drunken noodles and garlic noodles. Both were flavor packed and had no room for improvement. Also, shoutout for generous portions! We also sampled around the other shareable options. Had bao buns and the wings. Both options were tasty but the bao buns were a bit dry. A sauce would have leveled them up big time. The chicken wings were nice and crispy but the sauces could have also used a tad more flavor. Overall notes that the noodle options are a 5/5 and the shared plates are more like a 4/5. Definitely worth a stop if you're visiting the food factory! Everything is served conveniently for dine in or take out depending on your preference!

As a latecomer to this…read moreWONDERFUL restaurant (I know, I know, I've been living under a rock), I am just happy I was introduced to their excellent food at a work lunch & learn. From that moment on, I've been DEEPLY obsessed with their food. Prior to visiting the physical brick-and-mortar, I had only ever had Bolay at catered lunch events where we got to curate our own bowls. I'd always curate a grilled chicken, rice, veggies, and black bean bowl with all the fixings. My favorite sauce is by far the cilantro lime vinaigrette, but the pesto herb sauce is also a strong contender. Everything is always so FRESH and tastes like FOOD that is really nourishing for the body. The flavor profiles for the cooked veggies and grilled chicken are divine. The sauces are packed full of flavor as well. Every time I eat a bowl from Bolay, I am left the happiest human on earth. So, when I finally got the chance to pop into the physical restaurant, I JUMPED at the invitation immediately because I'd finally get the opportunity to dine in this wonderful establishment. And as expected, my expectations were exceeded. I ordered one of their chef-curated bowls: the Avocado Citrus Bowl, and WOW, oh WOW! Filled with jasmine rice and pesto noodles, the bowl is also paired with garlic broccoli, lemon chicken, pickled red onions, and a fresh avocado half, drizzled with their herb pesto sauce. Everything together was AMAZING. My ONLY complaint is that there are no Bolay locations near me, so it is a little bit of a drive (but it is worth it). For the serving size, price point, variety offered, and quality of food, Bolay really sets itself apart! 10 out of 10! Service is great. The staff is helpful. The restaurant (at this location) was clean and had ample seating indoors as well as a covered/umbrella outdoor seating area. Since it is in a shopping plaza, parking is also ample. If you have not popped into Bolay, do yourself the favor and change that today. You will not be disappointed!

The Zucchini Soufflé was good. I tried a sample of Mom's Banana Walnut Bread and Snickerdoodle cookie. Both were good as well. The Banana Walnut Bread was fresh. The cookie had plenty of cinnamon.
