If you're craving Mediterranean food like I was today, Santorini will hit the spot! We went at around 5 and were greeted by Dee, the very nice server. They no longer sell alcohol but that wasn't an issue for us. We ordered the gyro pita, gyro platter, lamb chops with rice and baked chicken with rice. Evening was flavorful and well cooked. I wanted to try something new so I checked in here a couple of days ago. Inside. A very small restaurant. Only one older man doing all the work. Waiting tables, cooking, clearing tables, etc. I asked if he does all the cooking. He said yes and the baking. I had baked chicken and Greek potatoes. The chicken color was not appealing but it tasted ok. The Greek potatoes were tasty but there were only two pieces, so maybe half of a potato. Nice man but restaurant nothing special. Very plain. Oh the good here is stellar! I had Spinach Spanokita with Greek Potatoes while DH had the Chicken Gyro with a side Greek Salad. The chicken was tender, flavorful and not overly salted. This was our first visit and it is very tasty. We ordered a Gyro with a side of rice, the Chicken Santorini on a bed of rice and a half baked chicken with a side of rice. The gyro was a little thicker cut than I'm used to and it was really good. The rice was moist and flavorful. Both chicken dishes were half chickens and huge. Very nice seasoned outside and tasty and moist inside. This is worth coming for by itself. The restaurant is fairly small with 6 booths and 5 large tables. I visited this restaurant for the first time about 6 years ago and just recently went again with some friends. I was so embarrassed that I recommended it because it's taken a real turn for the worst since my last visit. My daughter ordered the pastitsio, which is her favorite dish, she took one bite and it was cold in the middle. She also noticed an aftertaste that was hard for her to describe. We did ask that they reheat the dish and they did. She was able to get through half of it but it was not good. The béchamel on top was thick and not creamy and there was a lack of sauce in the noodles. It seemed like this may have been an old batch of pastitsio that was a little dry. She was very disappointed. I had the stuffed eggplant which was more like an eggplant stew with melted cheese on top. It had a nice flavor, but I wouldn't order it again. My friends ate the lamb and the chicken. They liked the chicken, but not the lamb. None of us though the meals were worth returning for. The saganaki is good, though. We also felt like the service was lacking. We had quite a few side plates and salad plates on the table and they were not taken away as we were finishing with them, so by the time our entrees came we had very little room on the table to eat and we just had to keep stacking plates up in the middle of the table, which just made us feel more cramped. It made me feel like we weren't really welcome to dine in and it would be better to order to go. But with the poor quality of food, we won't be doing that either. read more

I read a lot of mixed reviews for this restaurant and I hadn't been in a long time. When we got there, there was a family of four eating. We ordered a flaming soganaki for appetizer, it was very good. We ordered diet sodas to drink and both were kind of flat. I then ordered the Postichiox (layered pasta noodles with beef and topped with bechamel cream). My friend ordered the chicken pita. My friends pita was delicious. My Postichiox was just ok. Didn't have much flavor and it was so thick it was cold in the middle. I broke it apart and ate some of it bringing the rest home. It wasn't until I was done that I realized I was supposed to get a side salad with my entree-which I didn't get. I didn't bother mentioning it because st this point my level of disappointment for this particular meal was high. For dessert I had the baklava. I wanted to eat it there but it was so hard from being in the cooler that I couldn't eat it. I brought it home and put it in my microwave for about 30 seconds and ate it. It was delicious. Not too sweet. It seems to be a two person operation. They had a sign on the door looking for help. I know my review doesn't sound very positive, but I will probably go back snd get a kabob next time. My friends chicken in her pita was delicious. I'd like to give them another try. read more

Recently needed to plan a family party on quick notice. My son in law loves greek food, and Santorinies has been my personal favorite for many years. The owner and his wife were absolutely wonderful helping me to select and plan the menu. This was a home party and I wanted to be able to provide wonderful food, but in a family style. They did not let me down. There was something for everyone from teenagers to Seniors. I was even given specific instructions for cooking and serving the flaming cheese. We ate this amazing Greek restaurant. First time since the pandemic. We ordered hummus with pita bread, it was delicious and loved the warm bread. My husband ordered the gyro platter and I ordered combination platter gyro meat, grape leaves and moussaka. Everything was delicious. We were served by nice gentleman, possibly owner, had a small staff but they did a great job with service. The restaurant is small but comfortable. Went in last night for dinner on the recommendation of a friend. Holy cow, she was spot on. Family run Greek diner, fantastic food! I gree up gowing to a diner run by a family from Greece. We ordered grilled octopus and vegetarian grape leaves(the best I've had since I was a kid) They were both perfect! My wife ordered the Spanakopita, it was delicious. The phylo wasn't crispy, but the flavor was fantastic. I ordered the chicken santorini. Again, texture was of baked chicken, not charbroiled. But the flavor was perfect. FYI: I asked our waitress if the chicken or the kabobs were better. She did tell me the kabobs, so I'll get those next time. WOW! I feel like a flavor bomb went off in my mouth! So delicious! We had the sampler and the giant beans for appetizers. The beans hypnotize you to keep going back for more, and yes they are giant. The sampler features four different flavors to choose from and a mountain of pita to dip into them. The Feta was my favorite, but they were all great! I had the Gyro plate for dinner and the portions were generous. The meat was velvety and it was great to have the sampler there to add some as condiments to my Gyro to take it straight to scrumptiousville! Can't wait to come back! read more
