I ordered ahead and overall it was a good experience. The food was good and everything was packaged well. I did leave a note asking for no mayo on the sandwich, but it was still added, so just something to double check if you have special instructions. One thing that could improve the pickup process is having a separate area or counter for online orders. I ordered ahead but still had to wait in the regular line, which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering in advance. Overall still a good spot, just a couple small things that could make the pickup experience smoother. read more

Very blown away by not only the quality here but oh my goodness, the QUANTITY as well was insane! They really feed you well here! On entry, my friend and I took serious time to consider the vast menu and had to really narrow down our options! The woman at the counter (possibly the owner?) was so friendly, patient, and helpful. Gave us her suggestions and we finally landed on our choices. Decided to share a hummus appetizer, some side salads and a chicken plate each. Everything was a flavor explosion! Genuinely, my expectations were blown so far beyond. The lemon chicken over rice was just so flavorful and AMPLE! We could have easily shared it but as a leftover girly, I was so happy to have the rest for another meal! Plus all of the veggies served alongside were so fresh and added such nice color and variety to the plates. Adding this to my regular rotation for takeout and quick eats. While my friend and I did sit in for dinner, I will note that the ambiance is very casual and gives more of a "solo quick lunch" stop than a place to gather with friends and family. 5/5 hidden gem! This is a local family run restaurant. We got the baba ganoush with freshly hot pita bread and the stuffed grape leaves. The vegetarian stuffed grape leaves were a stand out dish that melted in my mouth. It was the best I've ever had. It was a culinary experience! The service was fast. They have lots of vegetarian plant based options. I got the falafel pita it was good. My son got the chicken and rice bowl. We also got the Dubai chocolate bar dessert. My friend wanted us to try this Greek restaurant and it did not disappoint! Located in the shopping center, it's a family-run business with seating inside. We were able to order right away and the food came out fresh to our table within a few minutes. Let me tell you - the chicken gyro was delicious and well-seasoned! The pita was so soft as well. The fresh veggies and peppers were crisp and nice to bite into. For dessert, the walnut baklava was massive and it was really good! The phyllo sheets were layered perfectly and the syrup soaked into the dessert without making it soggy. I also loved the filling with the walnut as well. Stopped by a couple of months ago while I was around the area and glad I did! This restaurant is a hidden gem, not only is the food delish, fresh, made to order and cooked well, but the owner and everyone else are very nice, friendly, attentive and accommodating! I saw the owner being very patient with and older couple and tried his best to accommodate them to enjoy their meal. I ordered a chicken pita, which came with salad and fries. I came back to order to go, a chic kabab with yellow rice side of veggies and hummus. I wasn't sure what to expect since the last time I visited I didn't order this but I had a feeling it had to taste good since the other menu items I previously had were good. I have to say everything was just delish. The yellow rice had flavor like a lime depth to it - yum! The dish is around 20bucks but it was enough food for 2 meals as they didn't skimp out on portion. Since I could not finish it I saved left overs for next day - it was the I look forward to going back to eat left over too. A very satisfying dinner meal that made my expectations. I love Mediterranean food so I was super excited to give the Greek Eatery a try. They have a pretty large menu so there is definitely a reason to return. It's a counter-service establishment and the food came out quickly. My daughter ordered a gyro combo and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the dip combo platter with hummus, baba ganoush, and spinach feta dip. The feta dip was the star, with the hummus falling in a close 2nd. I thought the baba ganoush lacked flavor and would opt for a different choice next time. I also ordered mushroom pie, which is mushrooms and onions in a crisp phyllo dough. It was good, but it came with a dip that I didn't care for. I probably wouldn't order that option again either. The chocolate baklava was average. I would come back to try other items on the menu. I just didn't find anything that wowed me--but I have hope that I will next time. read more

This was our second visit to the Greek Eatery. Our first time was right after they opened, and I have to say, the food was excellent. You could tell they were still ironing out some processes, but the flavors were spot-on. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, patiently answering all our questions about the menu. Seeing their menu for the first time can be a bit overwhelming--I love Greek food, but I wouldn't call myself an expert at ordering it. Fast forward to tonight, and I can honestly say the food was just as good, if not better. I had a lamb gyro with Greek fries, and my wife had the chicken rice bowl--both were fantastic. The owners and staff are still as friendly and kind as ever. If you're in Winter Springs, please make a point to eat here. We've already lost Thai Basil; we can't afford to lose another great restaurant in WS. No offense, but there's only so much Huey Magoo's one can take. Try their sides of Baba Ganoush, hummus, or Tzatziki sauce with wedges of warm pita bread or a Greek side salad.
